The Lagoon 620 is a real piece of art, designed for luxury sailing charters. French builder Lagoon Catamaran designed the 620 with solid performance hulls and a six cabin layout each with a separate head and shower. Comfort and safety are emphasized by the wide side decks and integrated hatchways which make you feel really relaxed while moving around the exterior. The flybridge is designed in a manner to provide a new living space on board – not only is the skipper allowed to stay there but the entire family could enjoy the overall view and the sensation of helming. There is enough space literally for the whole crew – the helm, winches, jammers and all other commands are combined with a lounge area and a sunbathing terrace. The central galley is designed in a manner to provide a chef a panoramic view both of the outside and the saloon/dining room while the passengers can enjoy chef’s view and communicate with them while preparing meals. TOYS: Snorkeling Gear, 1 eFoil Jet Surfboard, 2 Seabobs, 2 1-Person kayaks, 2 1 Paddle Boards, 2 Pedal Boards, 1 Surf board, 1 Hobie Pedal Kayak, 1 Lilly Pad, Noodles, 2 Fishing Rods & Onshore Games

NOTE: The crew are more than happy to provide recommendations and organize onshore dining for guests in additional to onboard meals.

Chef / First Mate
Ursula Schultz
Captain Derek Watkins
Born and raised in Reading, Massachusetts, just outside Boston, my early years were filled with outdoor adventures and sports. Summers were spent at a family campground near the White Mountains in New Hampshire, but my passion for sports dominated my life as I grew. After graduating from Reading Memorial High School, I pursued this passion at East Stroudsburg University in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, where I played college football.

A few years later, I found myself in Wells, Maine, ready for a change. Inspired by my grandfather, I became a bartender, a choice that fueled my love for travel and adventure for the next 25 years. Alongside bartending, I picked up diverse skills and experiences, working as a carpenter, ski and snowboard technician, Alaskan fisherman, paint salesman, tour manager, and even running my own muscular therapy business. My journey took me to vibrant cities and scenic locales like Boston, LA, Alaska, Aspen, Squaw Valley, NYC, and St. John in the US Virgin Islands.

Despite my varied career, my love for the outdoors never waned. I embraced activities like backpacking, snowboarding, mountain biking, and traveling, exploring destinations like India, Nepal, Central America, and across the USA.

I’m currently in my seventh year as a Captain, and I hold a USCG 100-Ton Masters License with Sailing Endorsements, CPR and First Aid certificates, PADI Advance Diver, and an STCW-95 qualification.

Here’s my favorite inspirational quote. It’s from J.R.R. Tolkien’s 'The Fellowship of the Ring':
“All we have to decide is what to do with the time given us.”

These words remind me to seize every moment. I’m here to help you create unforgettable memories and seize your moment on your dream trip. Your adventure awaits, and I’m thrilled to welcome you aboard!

Chef Ursula Schultz
Schultz's love for food started during her childhood on her family's farm in rural Quebec. Her parents taught her the art of farm-to-table cooking, and she learned valuable culinary skills like cheese-making, butter-churning, and gardening. These early experiences laid the foundation for her culinary journey.

Driven by her passion to further her culinary knowledge and skills, Schultz decided to pursue formal education at Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa, Canada. This educational experience opened doors for her to work as a private yacht chef in the Caribbean, where she catered to discerning clients and celebrities with sophisticated palates. Alongside her yacht chef career, Schultz also successfully manages her own catering business in Canada, which continues to thrive as she travels the world.

In addition to her culinary expertise, Schultz is also an accomplished violinist, recognized internationally for her exceptional talent. She has had the privilege of sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Pink, Zac Brown Band, and Lindsey Stirling. Schultz has also performed for esteemed individuals including the Royal Family, Canadian Prime Ministers, and Richard Branson, among others. For an unforgettable experience, she offers charters with the option to include a mesmerizing musical performance.

PREVIOUS CREW
What an incredible experience! Thank you endlessly to both Captain Dan + Chef Sierra for making our trip so enjoyable and relaxing. We faced fears, swam with eagle rays, searched for (alleged) sunken planes, and laughed until tears were streaming down our cheeks. How lucky we are to have been able to create these precious moments with both our family and our wonderful crew. We will forever be asking one another, "how deep is it?" and will surely be enjoying the mouth-watering recipes that chef kindly left with us for many meals to come. It's hard to believe we are already en route back to Nassau, then faster home to Nashville, but the vibrantly sheer beauty of this place will be long-stored into each of our minds. Thanks again, Dan + Sierra, for generously providing us an opportunity to explore with you! The Evans- Preston, Janie, Max, Ross (Buddy), Morgan

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible sail trip my family and I had with your team. We embarked on a one-week journey filled with awe-inspiring moments, thanks to the exceptional service provided by our captain, chef, and the entire crew. The boat itself was nothing short of amazing, offering us a comfortable and luxurious experience throughout the trip. However, what truly made our vacation unforgettable was the genuine care and attention we received from the crew. They went above and beyond to ensure that every member of our family had a delightful time, especially my child. From preparing delightful ice cream treats treats to the captain's thoughtful gesture of towing my child behind the dinghy on paddle board, the crew consistently exceeded our expectations. Their dedication to making my child happy was heartwarming, and we truly appreciate their efforts. Each day brought new adventures as we explored different islands, beaches, and snorkeling spots. The locations were not only breathtakingly beautiful but also carefully selected to provide us with a truly spectacular experience. The variety and quality of the activities offered were outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our time on the water. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone seeking an unforgettable sailing experience. The combination of the incredible boat, the friendly and attentive crew, and the stunning locations made our trip a truly remarkable one. Once again, thank you for providing us with such a memorable vacation. We look forward to the opportunity to sail with you again in the future.

Best Trip Ever!
Best trip ever! The boat was perfect and the crew was the best! The Captain Stephane was flexible to change plans in the weather and changed plans as needed to find calm waters. Jeramy's cooked us first class restaurant meals and we were so spoiled! This trip was even better than expected!

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES: Yacht offers a 3pm arrival and departure option. From Nassau especially, the later start works well for a short sail from the marina to a close island for a following morning start on the longer sail. On return, a later departure enables the crew to have a more leisure morning with the guests before departing on the return sail from the Exumas to Nassau. The yacht will provide lunch on the day of departure if they opt to leave at 3pm. They offer standard noon-noon arrival/departure time if preferred.
