Captain
Adam Cunerd
Nation: USA
Languages: English, German, Turkish, Macedonian, Serbo-Croatian (Balkan)
Captain: Adam Cunerd

Captain Adam Cunerd started boating at the age of 8 with his family and neighbors on the Severn River just outside of Annapolis, MD. Water-skiing, fishing and cruising were his favorite activities through the years, which expanded his knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. In his later teenage years and twenties, working at various marinas in the area, he became more involved in the handling, maintenance and mechanics of boating. He attended Chapman’s School of Seamanship in Stuart, Florida, which helped him make his decision to work on private yachts as a professional crew member. Attaining his master’s license in 1993, he has traveled and gained cruising experience in the Great Lakes, St. Lawrence Seaway, East Coast north to Nova Scotia, Canadian Maritimes, New England, the East Coast of Florida, Mississippi River, Ten Tom Waterway and its tributaries, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. With this experience he has gained the knowledge and skills to be a confident Master.

First Mate: Dimitri Blaimer

Dimitri joins us from Regensburg, Germany though originally from Macedonia. He followed his desire to travel and work on the water to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he has begun a career in yachting.

Dimitri has worked on multiple yachts ranging from 80' to 154'. Starting as a Deckhand, on to 2nd Engineer, Mate, and he now holds his 200GRT MCA Captains license. He continues his education annually, upgrading his licenses as well as staying up to date on safety.

Dimitri has enjoyed his experiences working on many charter yachts, where he always aims to please and provide guests with an exceptional time. He enjoys water sports with guests, beach set-up, and traveling by tender to remote locations.

Dimitri's travels include many islands in the Caribbean, the Bahamas, New England, and South Florida. When Dimitri's guest duties are complete you will find him spending time with his family, watching soccer, or playing Frisbee with his Australian Shepard, Charlie.

MONI Virtual Tour: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=M6Yvqz4x9bo&brand=0

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
