Owning a charter yacht has been our dream since the day we met and became reality through dedication and hard work, we never take it for granted how truly blessed we are. 20 years in the military as a family has afforded us opportunities to travel and meet people that will be our friends for life. There were plenty of hardships but those only made us stronger, we always look to the bright side. We want to keep that going!

Black Sheep will be Captain only for Fall 2018 winter 2019 with family participating in provisions and yacht reset. We are a recently retired military family and pursuing our dreams as full-time live-aboards and love to share the experience with other like minded people. Our lives have been full of change for the past 20 years, we have enjoyed such duty stations as Okinawa, Germany, Savannah, Ft Bragg, Ft Benning, Ft Eustis and Washington DC. We enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences and plan to keep moving looking for the next adventure.

BlackSheep has added a few options. We now include coffee, 2 cases of beer or sodas and a $200 shopping credit that we will have waiting for the guest upon their arrival. Water is also included. We run a 60 gal/hr watermaker into the 300 gal holding tanks. The original water is brought down to 250 ppm but we re filter it down to 32ppm and have a seperate 9 gal holding tank. No water bottles on BlackSheep!!

While BlackSheep doesnt "officially" offer full service I do always assist in cooking and setting tables etc.. I always clear plating and wash all the dishes, clients are able to sit back and relax.

We are compiling a shopping list with prices for the client to spend the $200 credit for the provision starter package.

LESS THAN 6 NIGHT CHARTERS DIVIDE BY 6 RULE: (Rate / 6 X #Nights)

TRAVEL AGENT COMMISSION: ***Please inquire prior to offering rates to client***

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
