We just got back from the most unforgettable week in the BVI on the Boatox with Captain Mike and Debbie, and honestly, we’re still in awe! This trip was pure magic from start to finish.
Mike made us feel completely safe and relaxed, showing us all the best spots around the islands, and Debbie’s cooking… wow. Every meal felt like it was made with so much love, and it was absolutely delicious.

We just returned from an absolutely unforgettable 7-night catamaran trip through the British Virgin Islands aboard Boatox, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime.
Our group was two couples — “four best friends from Boston” — and from the very first day, Captain Mike and Chef Debbie made us feel completely at home. This husband-and-wife team goes far beyond “excellent service”; they create an experience that feels personal, effortless, and incredibly special. By the end of the week, they genuinely felt like family.
The catamaran itself was stunning — beautifully maintained, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Our week-long charter in the British Virgin Islands aboard Boatox was truly unforgettable, and the biggest reason was the incredible hospitality from Mike and Debbie.
From the moment we stepped on board, they made us feel completely at home. Their warmth and genuine care set the tone for the entire trip. Mike's calm, capable presence as captain gave us total confidence as we island-hopped through some of the most beautiful waters in the world, and he always found the perfect places-whether we wanted a lively spot near beach bars or a quiet, postcard-worthy cove.
Debbie's hospitality was next level. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, and she somehow balanced professionalism with the feeling that we were being hosted by a good friend. She paid attention to the little details-favorite drinks, dietary preferences, and daily plans-so everything felt personalized rather than "standard charter."
What stood out most was how intuitive they both were. They seemed to know when to give us privacy and when to share stories, local tips, or join in the fun. Snorkeling, sunsets, great conversations, and amazing food-it all flowed effortlessly because of them.

Fantastic vacation. Debbie and Mike went to great lengths to make sure we had a truly spectacular time sailing the BVls. Their suggestions helped us get the most from our time. Debbie did a great job preparing and presenting great meals, Mike was a great Captain and bartender extraordinaire. As a team they make sure this was more than a vacation.
Just the Best BVI Charter
We've just returned from the most wonderful charter on Boatox in the BVI. This catamaran was very comfortable, well maintained and spacious with various spaces to relax, sunbathe or mingle when wished. However what really made our holiday was the crew whom we felt so lucky to meet and enjoy their care, service and lovely friendship. Captain Mike and Debbie were always delightful company, consummate professionals, calm and very competent. We felt cared for and pampered at all times and greatly enjoyed our delicious meals and drinks too - even the humble cheese and ham toasties were given a Michelin touch by Debbie - total genius.
They made our chosen itinerary work whilst sharing many interesting local insights along the way which we appreciated. Their service standards and discretion were exemplary, although in truth we loved their open friendship and kindness even more. In short they quickly became integral to the enjoyment of our holiday and we miss them already. Thank you Mike and Debbie - and everyone else please don't hesitate to book!
Incredible Experience with the BEST crew!
We had the trip of a lifetime in the BVI's on Boatox with Captain Mike and Debb. From the ease of booking with Shelby Granger, to help organizing a private boat taxi and shuttle to the airport, everything went so smooth! We could not recommend Captain Mike and Debb highly enough! They are truly amazing people and they made us feel like he had been friends for life.
From the moment we stepped on board we knew we were in for an amazing trip. The catamaran is extremely clean and comfortable and Mike and Debb's attention to detail is beyond measure. They took care of every detail planning a tailored itinerary for our family with theme dinners at night. The fresh gourmet meals were not only delicious but creative and absolutely beautiful. Captain Mike was incredibly knowledgable navigating us to all the best spots despite it being the most crowded week of the year. The New Year's Eve party they gave us will be a lifelong memory, full of surprises complete with lighted ball drop from the mast at midnight followed by nearby fireworks! We can not say enough how fantastic our experience was. If you are looking for a personalized 5 star experience, this is your crew!

We sailed on Boatox from Tortola in the BVI.
Captain/host was Westley. Chef/Hostess was Leandri. Both were EXCELLENT!! They were knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, fun and both were hard working. Leandri in particular “cooked up a feast “ for us at each meal. The catamaran Boatox is a beautiful boat, well appointed and well equipped. Our journey was a week of non stop activities and sailing to beautiful new places. God willing, we hope to sail again with Westley and Leandri!!

Wow what a fantastic week we had sailing the British Virgin Islands aboard BOATOX !!! We had the most fantastic crew that took care of our every need and fed us like we were kings and queens. Westley and Leandri have to be the hardest working crew in the islands. They were professional they were enjoyable and most of all they wanted us to have the trip of a lifetime and we certainly did.😍
Trip of a lifetime
Our cruise on the catamaran Boatox with two other couples to the BVI was perfect! The boat is lovely - there was space for all 6 of us to be together or options where we could be alone or with just a couple of folks. It was well designed and very comfortable. I think we could have been on any catamaran but what made this trip so special was the crew. Captain Westley and Mate/Chef Liandri did an amazing job taking great care of us. They worked hard and constantly. The meals were unbelievable. I don’t usually eat 3 meals a day but each one was so beautifully presented and delicious I couldn’t resist. Liandri is a great chef and she and Westley made sure our drink glasses were always full!! I am not a confident swimmer and asked if Westley could tie a rope to the boat so I could hang on and not fear I would be pushed around by the waves. He and Liandri made a hole in a noodle and attached a long rope to it and I could float around with no fear!! It was my birthday while on the trip and when I came up from my cabin that morning the salon was decorated with balloons and streamers and she had a sash ready for me to put on! The certainly made it one of the most special birthday celebrations I have ever had - and she made a birthday cake!! On two different days Westley put out big circular floats which were great for relaxing in the beautiful waters. The islands he took us too were lovely and each special in their own way. They were always kind, helpful and informative. I would only recommend that if you want to take a lovely relaxing vacation do take a catamaran trip in the BVI but be sure Westley is the captain and Leandri is the mate/chef. It wasn’t the boat that made it perfect it was them.
The Trip of a Lifetime!!
Want to be treated to a first-class vacation…having every single whim taken care of even before you think of it? Westley and Leandri, Captain and Chef, on our 6 person catamaran cruise took care of every single detail. These two are remarkable!!! There were 6 of us friends dreaming of this vacation for some time. There wasn’t one detail left out….from ensuring we had food, drinks that we liked….to when we like to eat….what time we awaken. Everything exceeded our expectations. The Boatox was lovely, but truly…Westley and Leandri made the trip of a lifetime all that….and so much more. Ask for them as you consider your cruise. We are fortunate to now call them friends!!!
Perfection in the BVI!!!!
We spent an incredible week on Boatox in the BVI with our superb crew, Westley and Leandri!
We were two couples looking to relax and our week was perfect from start to finish! The boat was new, very clean, well outfitted, and well provisioned! The crew clearly took the time to plan our meals and itinerary according to our wishes.
We immediately felt at home on the boat and the crew offered the perfect combination of professionalism and friendship! As anyone who has chartered knows, the crew can make or break your trip and this team is top notch!
Captain Westley not only guided us expertly and safely around the BVI waters, but was also proactive in reserving prime mooring balls, arranging ground transportation and helping us make itinerary decisions.
Leandri is an exquisite chef (the best we've had on the three charters we've taken!). She somehow managed to make four people with different tastes extremely happy with EVERY meal! Her presentation was also incredible. A feast for the eyes and palate! She also gave excellent advise on the best snorkeling spots and land activities. I need to mention the cocktails too...they were to die for!!!
We truly relaxed and felt at home all week. Westley and Leandri made us feel welcome, pampered and became fast friends!!

BVI AMAZING trip because of the Crew
Our Yacht, Boatox was a wonderful vessel, very comfortable and provided the right amount of space for the 6 of us. However, it was not the vessel that made this trip amazing, it was Leandri (the mate) and Westley (the captain). I have never seen two people work harder allowing 6 people to enjoy a great time. Leandri, is an excellent chef, and you will not go hungry enjoying her lip smacking food. Even though she was not participating in our fun activities, she shared our enthusiasm each time we came back, hugging, high fiving, and looking at some of our photos. Westley, the Captain, made sure that each day was filled with fun-filled activities and took us to places we had not even heard of that provided some truly life long memories. I'm a curious person and liked to ask lot of questions. Westley always took the time to answer them and point out places and things to me. He never made me feel like I was bothering him. Each morning they welcomed us with big smiles and went on about their work day after day making sure we were well taken care of. My advice to anyone thinking of cruising the BVI, find out what vessel Westley and Leandri are crewing and if possible charter that boat because they are what made our trip amazing providing life long memories. Amazing Family Vacation!
My husband and I took our 2 adult children along with their spouse and girlfriend on a week vacation onboard SV Boatox March 29-April 5, 2025. My heart is so full from the memories we made as a family. What a blessing to witness everyone so appreciative and enjoying this extraordinary sailing experience.
With that being said it could not have happened so seamlessly without Captain Westley and First Mate/Chef Leandri. From our first communication it was obvious they both took pride in their jobs and the boat. Boatox was very clean upon our arrival and remained that way throughout our vacation. The food and drinks were fantastic, and even tailored to individual’s likes and dislikes. We experienced amazing sailing with very high winds thanks to Westley’s expertise. He picked the perfect spot to moar each day to explore and relax. I am grateful to have met Westley & Leandri and for the pampering they gave us. None of us would change a thing.
This was a 5 star vacation with a 5 star crew that my family will treasure forever!
A once in a lifetime experience
We recently had the upmost pleasure to experience life aboard the Boatox. Our family spent a week sailing between Saint Thomas and Saint John islands with the most spectacular views, food and company.
Captain Westley expertly and safely navigated us to all the best spots and Chef Leandri crafted the most beautiful and delicious meals every single day. They were a joy to be with and honestly made the experience even better if that’s possible. We couldn’t have imagined a better trip without them.
This truly was such an amazing and once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget!
What an amazing experience!
I have to admit I was a little apprehensive when it came to having a captain and 1st mate. Previously I had always done barefoot. However, Lee and Wesley we're fantastic. Wesley, the captain was always in complete control of the boat and knew the BVI waters like the back of his hand. Lee, the first mate, could not have been more accommodating. She cooked gourmet meals for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. She was available when you needed her but seemed to disappear when you needed your time alone or privacy. The boat “Boatox” was built in 2024 and was in pristine condition, much to the credit of Wesley and Lee.
I should also mention that I had never used a broker before but John Dewhurst from Yacht Vacations couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. He held our hand as to the steps contracting the yacht as well as the arrangements as to where you pick up the yacht and go through customs etcetera. Perfection in Paradise
We had an unforgettable week on Boatox in the BVIs! Just my husband and our 11-year-old daughter and it could not have been more perfect. We spent six nights on the boat, exploring Cooper Island, Virgin Gorda, Guana Island, JVD, and NormanIsland. Our Captain Westley and Chef Leandri
We’re amazing in every way! They had the perfect balance of professionalism and becoming our friends for the week, and we now consider them friends for a lifetime! Westley was not only a great captain, but also super helpful with all the extras, such as boat accessories, fishing, etc. He was always willing to go above and beyond to make our days fun and interesting! Leandri was such a great addition for all of us! . Our daughter loved her fun spirit, especially when she jumped with her from Willie Ts! Leandri’s cooking skills were spot on! She created the perfect menu based on our preference sheet and was totally prepared for our daughter‘s picky palate! None of us went hungry for the week and we were pleased with every single meal. Not only was it delicious, it looked beautiful.
The boat itself was perfect for our family! It was very pretty and I think only a year old. The master bedroom was more spacious than I expected and the beds were super comfy! There were plenty of spots for lounging and sitting while going to different locations. We would definitely book Boatox again or recommend to friends and family!
An incredible BVI sailing experience with Boatox!
Sailing through the BVI’s on Boatox was an experience we’ll never forget! Lee & Wes went above and beyond as guides, making sure we explored the best spots and didn’t miss a single highlight. The delicious meals on board, paired with the fun events and outstanding service, made the entire trip truly special. Boatox & Crew - 7 day BVI trip -- Changed our lives!!!!!!!
We just returned from a 7-day BVI trip to celebrate my wife's 50th. Went with two other couples that are dear friends. Hard for me to describe in words how much fun this adventure was...
Starting with the crew - Leandri and Westley...Amazing! You can tell they have a passion for what they do and they took care of us like no other. The food was off the chart - and we ate most all of our meals on the boat. They were extremely accommodating and when we tried to help with anything and everything (which we're all wired to do!) they would not let us. One of the highlights of this trip was getting to know them and their story - just fantastic people!
The islands are breathtaking. Lea and Westley planned us an amazing itinerary which included Peter Island, Norman Island, Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda, Guana Island and Jost Van Dyke. We hit Willy T's for a drink, Soggy Dollar, Foxy's, The Baths, The Bubbly Pool, spent New Year's Eve at the Bitter End. We went into the week with some knowledge to what we would be doing - and found it best to wake up each morning and ask Lea and Westley where the day would lead us...of course each day was perfect.
The boat was out of this world! We learned that is was built in 2024 - it was beautiful. We never felt crowded - had plenty of space. They have tons of toys on board (Paddle boards, rafts, etc) that we enjoyed and the cabin rooms were perfect.
To go back to the food - I want to reiterate how great it was. Breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day and for the dinners we enjoyed pastas, paella, gourmet burgers, STEAK, Gyros! I know I'm forgetting a few - but each meal was unbelievable. Usually we ate lunch on land somewhere. There were plenty of snacks on board and of course I cannot leave out the cocktails were amazing. Lea made the most amazing drinks - especially the Pain Killers on New Year's Day - which could not have been delivered at a more perfect time. We enjoyed great wine, plenty of Caribs, etc...
Derek was great to work with in getting everything booked - and we were actually able to meet him as we boarded the boat. Fantastic job my friend - it wildly exceed ALL of our expectations.
To wrap things up - I wanted to highlight some of the notable "experiences" we had along the way...
We took a water taxi to the Boatox named "Cap'n Crunch". For folks that grew up in the 70s and 80s - I don't need to explain how special this is...
For our trips to The Baths - we rode with a driver named "Tiger". We quickly understood that he basically ran the island - and we knew we could call him for anything :) !
The vibe at Soggy Dollar was outstanding. Tons of people just meeting tons of other people and having a great time. As the bartender "Big Bird" said as he was drumming up a few Pain Killers - "Everybody at this place is happy man!"
If you do the BVIs - you will see boats that blow your mind. HUGE boats! But - you know that those folks in those boats are not having a better time than the Boatox!
So...To Lea, Westley, Derek, and the rest of the staff at The Yacht Vacation Company - hats off to ALL of you. You delivered such an amazing trip that we will never forget! I've included one picture of our entire group that Lea took. Pictures are always worth a thousand words!

Unless otherwise specified-Caribbean Standard All-Inclusive Charters include the following:

- Standard ship’s bar: vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila, triple sec, mixers, local beers, table wine and water/coffee/tea and soft drinks

Should the Charterer have any complaints about the Yacht or the Crew they shall notify the captain in the first instance and, if the matter is not resolved within 12 hours, shall notify the Owner in writing through the Broker as soon as possible, who shall try to remedy the matter, the owner shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of any complaints which the Owner has not been notified within 48 hrs of the occurrence of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint.
4. Travel insurance and Cancellation/Curtailment insurance is highly recommended and should be sourced by the Charterer.
5. Crew gratuity (customary 15 - 20% of the Charter Fee for great service) is additional and at the CHARTERER's discretion. This gratuity should be given at the end of the Charter Period and prior to disembarking the Yacht.
6. Although every effort will be made to maintain the same crew throughout the season, with any crewed Yacht there is the possibility of a Crew change in the lead up to the Charter Period.
7. Any tandem charter involving multiple yachts requires the guests that paid for a specific yacht and are on that yachts manifest to be the only guests on that yacht during meal services, while underway, and overnight sleeping. This is due to safety and maritime requirements.

The Boatox with Mike and Debbie is unbelievable! The adventure we had was the BEST, Mike found the best islands and areas to explore. The Food was to die for...Debbie makes crazy food that when you come back home you are disappointed with anything you eat. We just got back from the most unforgettable week in the BVI on the Boatox with Captain Mike and Debbie, and honestly, we’re still in awe! This trip was pure magic from start to finish.
Mike made us feel completely safe and relaxed, showing us all the best spots around the islands, and Debbie’s cooking… wow. Every meal felt like it was made with so much love, and it was absolutely delicious.
But what really made this trip so special was Mike and Debbie themselves. They are just the sweetest, most genuine couple. They went out of their way to make sure every moment was perfect, and their warmth made us feel like we were sailing with old friends.

We just returned from an absolutely unforgettable 7-night catamaran trip through the British Virgin Islands aboard Boatox, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime.
Our group was two couples — “four best friends from Boston” — and from the very first day, Captain Mike and Chef Debbie made us feel completely at home. This husband-and-wife team goes far beyond “excellent service”; they create an experience that feels personal, effortless, and incredibly special. By the end of the week, they genuinely felt like family.
The catamaran itself was stunning — beautifully maintained, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Sunsets, Snorkeling, and Stellar Hosts
Our week-long charter in the British Virgin Islands aboard Boatox was truly unforgettable, and the biggest reason was the incredible hospitality from Mike and Debbie.
From the moment we stepped on board, they made us feel completely at home. Their warmth and genuine care set the tone for the entire trip. Mike's calm, capable presence as captain gave us total confidence as we island-hopped through some of the most beautiful waters in the world, and he always found the perfect places-whether we wanted a lively spot near beach bars or a quiet, postcard-worthy cove.
Debbie's hospitality was next level. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, and she somehow balanced professionalism with the feeling that we were being hosted by a good friend. She paid attention to the little details-favorite drinks, dietary preferences, and daily plans-so everything felt personalized rather than "standard charter."
What stood out most was how intuitive they both were. They seemed to know when to give us privacy and when to share stories, local tips, or join in the fun. Snorkeling, sunsets, great conversations, and amazing food-it all flowed effortlessly because of them.

Great time sailing BVIs
Fantastic vacation. Debbie and Mike went to great lengths to make sure we had a truly spectacular time sailing the BVls. Their suggestions helped us get the most from our time. Debbie did a great job preparing and presenting great meals, Mike was a great Captain and bartender extraordinaire. As a team they make sure this was more than a vacation.
Just the Best BVI Charter
We've just returned from the most wonderful charter on Boatox in the BVI. This catamaran was very comfortable, well maintained and spacious with various spaces to relax, sunbathe or mingle when wished. However what really made our holiday was the crew whom we felt so lucky to meet and enjoy their care, service and lovely friendship. Captain Mike and Debbie were always delightful company, consummate professionals, calm and very competent. We felt cared for and pampered at all times and greatly enjoyed our delicious meals and drinks too - even the humble cheese and ham toasties were given a Michelin touch by Debbie - total genius.
They made our chosen itinerary work whilst sharing many interesting local insights along the way which we appreciated. Their service standards and discretion were exemplary, although in truth we loved their open friendship and kindness even more. In short they quickly became integral to the enjoyment of our holiday and we miss them already. Thank you Mike and Debbie - and everyone else please don't hesitate to book!
Incredible Experience with the BEST crew!
We had the trip of a lifetime in the BVI's on Boatox with Captain Mike and Debb. From the ease of booking with Shelby Granger, to help organizing a private boat taxi and shuttle to the airport, everything went so smooth! We could not recommend Captain Mike and Debb highly enough! They are truly amazing people and they made us feel like he had been friends for life.
From the moment we stepped on board we knew we were in for an amazing trip. The catamaran is extremely clean and comfortable and Mike and Debb's attention to detail is beyond measure. They took care of every detail planning a tailored itinerary for our family with theme dinners at night. The fresh gourmet meals were not only delicious but creative and absolutely beautiful. Captain Mike was incredibly knowledgable navigating us to all the best spots despite it being the most crowded week of the year. The New Year's Eve party they gave us will be a lifelong memory, full of surprises complete with lighted ball drop from the mast at midnight followed by nearby fireworks! We can not say enough how fantastic our experience was. If you are looking for a personalized 5 star experience, this is your crew!

We sailed on Boatox from Tortola in the BVI.
Captain/host was Westley. Chef/Hostess was Leandri. Both were EXCELLENT!! They were knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, fun and both were hard working. Leandri in particular “cooked up a feast “ for us at each meal. The catamaran Boatox is a beautiful boat, well appointed and well equipped. Our journey was a week of non stop activities and sailing to beautiful new places. God willing, we hope to sail again with Westley and Leandri!!

Wow what a fantastic week we had sailing the British Virgin Islands aboard BOATOX !!! We had the most fantastic crew that took care of our every need and fed us like we were kings and queens. Westley and Leandri have to be the hardest working crew in the islands. They were professional they were enjoyable and most of all they wanted us to have the trip of a lifetime and we certainly did.😍
Trip of a lifetime
Our cruise on the catamaran Boatox with two other couples to the BVI was perfect! The boat is lovely - there was space for all 6 of us to be together or options where we could be alone or with just a couple of folks. It was well designed and very comfortable. I think we could have been on any catamaran but what made this trip so special was the crew. Captain Westley and Mate/Chef Liandri did an amazing job taking great care of us. They worked hard and constantly. The meals were unbelievable. I don’t usually eat 3 meals a day but each one was so beautifully presented and delicious I couldn’t resist. Liandri is a great chef and she and Westley made sure our drink glasses were always full!! I am not a confident swimmer and asked if Westley could tie a rope to the boat so I could hang on and not fear I would be pushed around by the waves. He and Liandri made a hole in a noodle and attached a long rope to it and I could float around with no fear!! It was my birthday while on the trip and when I came up from my cabin that morning the salon was decorated with balloons and streamers and she had a sash ready for me to put on! The certainly made it one of the most special birthday celebrations I have ever had - and she made a birthday cake!! On two different days Westley put out big circular floats which were great for relaxing in the beautiful waters. The islands he took us too were lovely and each special in their own way. They were always kind, helpful and informative. I would only recommend that if you want to take a lovely relaxing vacation do take a catamaran trip in the BVI but be sure Westley is the captain and Leandri is the mate/chef. It wasn’t the boat that made it perfect it was them.
The Trip of a Lifetime!!
Want to be treated to a first-class vacation…having every single whim taken care of even before you think of it? Westley and Leandri, Captain and Chef, on our 6 person catamaran cruise took care of every single detail. These two are remarkable!!! There were 6 of us friends dreaming of this vacation for some time. There wasn’t one detail left out….from ensuring we had food, drinks that we liked….to when we like to eat….what time we awaken. Everything exceeded our expectations. The Boatox was lovely, but truly…Westley and Leandri made the trip of a lifetime all that….and so much more. Ask for them as you consider your cruise. We are fortunate to now call them friends!!!
Perfection in the BVI!!!!
We spent an incredible week on Boatox in the BVI with our superb crew, Westley and Leandri!
We were two couples looking to relax and our week was perfect from start to finish! The boat was new, very clean, well outfitted, and well provisioned! The crew clearly took the time to plan our meals and itinerary according to our wishes.
We immediately felt at home on the boat and the crew offered the perfect combination of professionalism and friendship! As anyone who has chartered knows, the crew can make or break your trip and this team is top notch!
Captain Westley not only guided us expertly and safely around the BVI waters, but was also proactive in reserving prime mooring balls, arranging ground transportation and helping us make itinerary decisions.
Leandri is an exquisite chef (the best we've had on the three charters we've taken!). She somehow managed to make four people with different tastes extremely happy with EVERY meal! Her presentation was also incredible. A feast for the eyes and palate! She also gave excellent advise on the best snorkeling spots and land activities. I need to mention the cocktails too...they were to die for!!!
We truly relaxed and felt at home all week. Westley and Leandri made us feel welcome, pampered and became fast friends!!
We can't thank them enough for a fabulous vacation!!!!
BVI AMAZING trip because of the Crew
Our Yacht, Boatox was a wonderful vessel, very comfortable and provided the right amount of space for the 6 of us. However, it was not the vessel that made this trip amazing, it was Leandri (the mate) and Westley (the captain). I have never seen two people work harder allowing 6 people to enjoy a great time. Leandri, is an excellent chef, and you will not go hungry enjoying her lip smacking food. Even though she was not participating in our fun activities, she shared our enthusiasm each time we came back, hugging, high fiving, and looking at some of our photos. Westley, the Captain, made sure that each day was filled with fun-filled activities and took us to places we had not even heard of that provided some truly life long memories. I'm a curious person and liked to ask lot of questions. Westley always took the time to answer them and point out places and things to me. He never made me feel like I was bothering him. Each morning they welcomed us with big smiles and went on about their work day after day making sure we were well taken care of. My advice to anyone thinking of cruising the BVI, find out what vessel Westley and Leandri are crewing and if possible charter that boat because they are what made our trip amazing providing life long memories. Amazing Family Vacation!
My husband and I took our 2 adult children along with their spouse and girlfriend on a week vacation onboard SV Boatox March 29-April 5, 2025. My heart is so full from the memories we made as a family. What a blessing to witness everyone so appreciative and enjoying this extraordinary sailing experience.
With that being said it could not have happened so seamlessly without Captain Westley and First Mate/Chef Leandri. From our first communication it was obvious they both took pride in their jobs and the boat. Boatox was very clean upon our arrival and remained that way throughout our vacation. The food and drinks were fantastic, and even tailored to individual’s likes and dislikes. We experienced amazing sailing with very high winds thanks to Westley’s expertise. He picked the perfect spot to moar each day to explore and relax. I am grateful to have met Westley & Leandri and for the pampering they gave us. None of us would change a thing.
This was a 5 star vacation with a 5 star crew that my family will treasure forever!
A once in a lifetime experience
We recently had the upmost pleasure to experience life aboard the Boatox. Our family spent a week sailing between Saint Thomas and Saint John islands with the most spectacular views, food and company.
Captain Westley expertly and safely navigated us to all the best spots and Chef Leandri crafted the most beautiful and delicious meals every single day. They were a joy to be with and honestly made the experience even better if that’s possible. We couldn’t have imagined a better trip without them.
This truly was such an amazing and once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget!
What an amazing experience!
I have to admit I was a little apprehensive when it came to having a captain and 1st mate. Previously I had always done barefoot. However, Lee and Wesley we're fantastic. Wesley, the captain was always in complete control of the boat and knew the BVI waters like the back of his hand. Lee, the first mate, could not have been more accommodating. She cooked gourmet meals for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. She was available when you needed her but seemed to disappear when you needed your time alone or privacy. The boat “Boatox” was built in 2024 and was in pristine condition, much to the credit of Wesley and Lee.
I should also mention that I had never used a broker before but John Dewhurst from Yacht Vacations couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. He held our hand as to the steps contracting the yacht as well as the arrangements as to where you pick up the yacht and go through customs etcetera. He called several times just to make sure everything was going well and to make sure we did not have any concerns or questions. I should point out that the one time we had a concern, John immediately got the issue resolved.
Thanks Lee, Wesley, and John for making this a memorable and fantastic experience!
Perfection in Paradise
We had an unforgettable week on Boatox in the BVIs! Just my husband and our 11-year-old daughter and it could not have been more perfect. We spent six nights on the boat, exploring Cooper Island, Virgin Gorda, Guana Island, JVD, and NormanIsland. Our Captain Westley and Chef Leandri
We’re amazing in every way! They had the perfect balance of professionalism and becoming our friends for the week, and we now consider them friends for a lifetime! Westley was not only a great captain, but also super helpful with all the extras, such as boat accessories, fishing, etc. He was always willing to go above and beyond to make our days fun and interesting! Leandri was such a great addition for all of us! . Our daughter loved her fun spirit, especially when she jumped with her from Willie Ts! Leandri’s cooking skills were spot on! She created the perfect menu based on our preference sheet and was totally prepared for our daughter‘s picky palate! None of us went hungry for the week and we were pleased with every single meal. Not only was it delicious, it looked beautiful.
The boat itself was perfect for our family! It was very pretty and I think only a year old. The master bedroom was more spacious than I expected and the beds were super comfy! There were plenty of spots for lounging and sitting while going to different locations. We would definitely book Boatox again or recommend to friends and family!

Sailing through the BVI’s on Boatox was an experience we’ll never forget! Lee & Wes went above and beyond as guides, making sure we explored the best spots and didn’t miss a single highlight. The delicious meals on board, paired with the fun events and outstanding service, made the entire trip truly special. Boatox & Crew - 7 day BVI trip -- Changed our lives!!!!!!!
We just returned from a 7-day BVI trip to celebrate my wife's 50th. Went with two other couples that are dear friends. Hard for me to describe in words how much fun this adventure was...
Starting with the crew - Leandri and Westley...Amazing! You can tell they have a passion for what they do and they took care of us like no other. The food was off the chart - and we ate most all of our meals on the boat. They were extremely accommodating and when we tried to help with anything and everything (which we're all wired to do!) they would not let us. One of the highlights of this trip was getting to know them and their story - just fantastic people!
The islands are breathtaking. Lea and Westley planned us an amazing itinerary which included Peter Island, Norman Island, Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda, Guana Island and Jost Van Dyke. We hit Willy T's for a drink, Soggy Dollar, Foxy's, The Baths, The Bubbly Pool, spent New Year's Eve at the Bitter End. We went into the week with some knowledge to what we would be doing - and found it best to wake up each morning and ask Lea and Westley where the day would lead us...of course each day was perfect.
The boat was out of this world! We learned that is was built in 2024 - it was beautiful. We never felt crowded - had plenty of space. They have tons of toys on board (Paddle boards, rafts, etc) that we enjoyed and the cabin rooms were perfect.
To go back to the food - I want to reiterate how great it was. Breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day and for the dinners we enjoyed pastas, paella, gourmet burgers, STEAK, Gyros! I know I'm forgetting a few - but each meal was unbelievable. Usually we ate lunch on land somewhere. There were plenty of snacks on board and of course I cannot leave out the cocktails were amazing. Lea made the most amazing drinks - especially the Pain Killers on New Year's Day - which could not have been delivered at a more perfect time. We enjoyed great wine, plenty of Caribs, etc...
Derek was great to work with in getting everything booked - and we were actually able to meet him as we boarded the boat. Fantastic job my friend - it wildly exceed ALL of our expectations.
To wrap things up - I wanted to highlight some of the notable "experiences" we had along the way...
We took a water taxi to the Boatox named "Cap'n Crunch". For folks that grew up in the 70s and 80s - I don't need to explain how special this is...
For our trips to The Baths - we rode with a driver named "Tiger". We quickly understood that he basically ran the island - and we knew we could call him for anything :) !
The vibe at Soggy Dollar was outstanding. Tons of people just meeting tons of other people and having a great time. As the bartender "Big Bird" said as he was drumming up a few Pain Killers - "Everybody at this place is happy man!"
If you do the BVIs - you will see boats that blow your mind. HUGE boats! But - you know that those folks in those boats are not having a better time than the Boatox!
So...To Lea, Westley, Derek, and the rest of the staff at The Yacht Vacation Company - hats off to ALL of you. You delivered such an amazing trip that we will never forget! I've included one picture of our entire group that Lea took. Pictures are always worth a thousand words!

Personal Expenses
● New Winter Season Rates begin when the new seasons starts on November 1 each year.
● Tip: It is customary to tip your crew at the end of your charter. The amount you leave is totally at your discretion and should be based on the level of service provided. The suggested gratuity is 15%-20% of the total charter fee.
● CONTRACT SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
1. The charter fee includes British Virgin Islands (BVI) taxes, fees, permits and/or National Park fees and/or Customs and Immigration fees.
2. Onboard Wifi is included, however data rates cannot be guaranteed since the yacht is moving and on the ocean.
3. Should the Charterer have any complaints about the Yacht or the Crew they shall notify the captain in the first instance and, if the matter is not resolved within 12 hours, shall notify the Owner in writing through the Broker as soon as possible, who shall try to remedy the matter, the owner shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of any complaints which the Owner has not been notified within 48 hrs of the occurrence of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint.
4. Travel insurance and Cancellation/Curtailment insurance is highly recommended and should be sourced by the Charterer.
5. Crew gratuity (customary 15 - 20% of the Charter Fee for great service) is additional and at the CHARTERER's discretion. This gratuity should be given at the end of the Charter Period and prior to disembarking the Yacht.
6. Although every effort will be made to maintain the same crew throughout the season, with any crewed Yacht there is the possibility of a Crew change in the lead up to the Charter Period.
7. Any tandem charter involving multiple yachts requires the guests that paid for a specific yacht and are on that yachts manifest to be the only guests on that yacht during meal services, while underway, and overnight sleeping. This is due to safety and maritime requirements.

Personal Expenses
● New Winter Season Rates begin when the new seasons starts on November 1 each year.
● Tip: It is customary to tip your crew at the end of your charter. The amount you leave is totally at your discretion and should be based on the level of service provided. The suggested gratuity is 15%-20% of the total charter fee.
● CONTRACT SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
1. The charter fee includes British Virgin Islands (BVI) taxes, fees, permits and/or National Park fees and/or Customs and Immigration fees.
2. Onboard Wifi is included, however data rates cannot be guaranteed since the yacht is moving and on the ocean.
3. Should the Charterer have any complaints about the Yacht or the Crew they shall notify the captain in the first instance and, if the matter is not resolved within 12 hours, shall notify the Owner in writing through the Broker as soon as possible, who shall try to remedy the matter, the owner shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of any complaints which the Owner has not been notified within 48 hrs of the occurrence of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint.
4. Travel insurance and Cancellation/Curtailment insurance is highly recommended and should be sourced by the Charterer.
5. Crew gratuity (customary 15 - 20% of the Charter Fee for great service) is additional and at the CHARTERER's discretion. This gratuity should be given at the end of the Charter Period and prior to disembarking the Yacht.
6. Although every effort will be made to maintain the same crew throughout the season, with any crewed Yacht there is the possibility of a Crew change in the lead up to the Charter Period.
7. Any tandem charter involving multiple yachts requires the guests that paid for a specific yacht and are on that yachts manifest to be the only guests on that yacht during meal services, while underway, and overnight sleeping. This is due to safety and maritime requirements.
