Born and raised in Puerto Rico The Captain discovered a passion for boating at an early age through family. Eventually moved on to pursuing a career in the maritime industry at Texas A&M Maritime academy. In Texas he discovered a passion for cooking while working in the hospitality Industry. He spent 11 years with his previous owners where he oversaw the full refit of his vessel for the New Owners from Start to finish.
Experienced in the cruising grounds of the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, the US and British Virgin Islands as well as the Bahamas and The Mediterranean Sea(South of France, Spain and Italy) He enjoys wake boarding, paddle boarding, cycling and cooking. Fluent in Spanish, English and French

Lara was born in New York City and at an early age started traveling and grew a passion for the water. She has worked on, in or around the waters for most of her adult life. She joined M/Y Canelo in May 2019. On her off time she likes to spend her time outdoors... working out, practicing photography or going on an adventure.

Marta comes originally from Poland. Joined the yachting industry after studying Arts of Graphic Design and Marketing in Europe. She has a great sense of adventure, which has led her into the yachting world. Onboard M/Y Canelo since 2019
When Marta is not working, you will find her trekking through foreign countries exploring the road less traveled. She enjoys being outdoors, being active, a good book and horseback riding.
Her warm and welcoming personality, attention to detail and amazing hospitality skills will leave you impressed with the level of service onboard.

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.
