Epiphany

Captain Devon's expertise of the islands was impeccable. He planned our trip to fit perfectly with our families desires. We had the perfect amount of relaxation and exploration that we wanted, while also diving into the local culture and stunning scenery. He explained everything very thoroughly each day and answered the billion questions we all had with a smile on his face. He ensured we were all comfortable and taken care of. His sense of humor also fit in perfectly with the family. So much so that he was invited to the family wedding taking place on Tortola. We never felt uneasy about anything the entire trip because we knew we were in such great hands. 

Chef Ashley's food was also impeccable. It fit the needs of everyone, and she even went out of her way to ensure our pickiest eaters were more than satisfied, even after they told her not to worry about it. Her food choices were all delectable, fresh, and alternated throughout the vacation, so it was always something new, and literally every single thing she made was the most delicious food we have ever experienced. She also was invited to the family wedding as she fit in with our family so perfectly as well.  We have all asked for her recipes, and have all be striving to make similar things that she made since the trip because we all loved it so much.

We have all told both Devon and Ashley they have got to keep in touch and come visit because we enjoyed and loved them so much. They are part of the family now. The trip would have been incredible no matter what, but it was even more so memorable because of them. We hope to see them both soon and take another trip with them again down the road. - Sarah

I have made it to the BVIs 3 times before this trip. I decided to have my family experience such a wonderful journey. I never thought it could possibly be the best trip ever! This was truly such an awesome experience. Captain Devon and Chef Ashley were so fantastic. I can’t express enough how awesome Captain Devon made my families experience. He really made this journey one that will be hard to top, if even possible. Devon was exceptional. He explained everything and everywhere we were going or went very clearly. He was super organized, checked in on us and kept a watchful eye at all times. I cannot express enough how comfortable and safe we all felt. WOW!!!

We had the most amazing time aboard Epiphany with Nick and Angella. The sailing was fun and Nick was so patient with our 10 year old son who was in love with boating. The food was amazing. Every meal was above and beyond delicious. We were amazed we could eat so good on a boat. Everything was always kept neat and clean with ice restocked daily. The trip was perfect. We cannot overstate our appreciation for Angella's attention, hard work, and both tasty and beautiful culinary results. Our trip diary will include many photographs of her food because her plating was often gorgeous. To start, we were not an easy group to cook for. We had a number of dietary restrictions, and one especially picky eater. Angella cooked exactly to our needs, always conscientious to exclude or substitute particulars for the picky one. Angella was extremely well organized, enabling her to pack her boat with appropriate fresh fruits and vegetables for a 21 meal week. What she churned out of a limited boat kitchen was extremely impressive. Dishes were extrememly diverse, ranging from Thai lemongrass soup to chocolate lava cake to ceviche tacos with fried sweet potatoes and tzatziki sauce (trust us, it was a fantastic combinations!)

When Angella wasn't actively cooking (and cooking took up many hours daily), she was actively researching recipes, preparing cooking notes, tidying up the boat, and asking what else she might prepare for us. Between the three hefty meals a day, she brought out cheese platters, veggies and dips, and now her famous mojitos. In other words, Angella was busy from early mornings to late at night kitchen clean ups. Probably most appreciated was Angella's always friendly nature and welcoming smile.
