London born, Raph grew up dinghy sailing from a tender age in UK waters but it wasn’t until
2012 that his career in sailing was truly launched. He partook in the Oyster round the world rally
that took him from Mallorca, Spain all the way to Thailand, via the gems of the Pacific Ocean. It
was this trip that caused him to fall in love with all things Ocean and he promptly obtained his
RYA Yachtmaster. During this time, he also acquired his bachelor's degree at the University of
Leeds but the pull of getting paid to do something he loved was too strong and he returned to a
life on the Ocean. To date he has completed 4 Atlantic Crossings, 1 Pacific crossing and over
100 charters, so as well as being a fun, friendly and easy-going addition to your group, know
you’ll be in extremely safe and experienced hands too.


Chef Amber Colle
Born to taste the world, Amber grew up in South Africa and New Zealand but now calls the ocean home. After graduating her studies in Hospitality Management she worked in the events industry in Los Angeles and Amsterdam which ingrained her love to host. She looked for an opportunity to combine all her passions and discovered working on yachts 6 years ago.

Amber has recently completed 3 months of Culinary Arts training in the South of France. She feels at home in kitchen and creates delicious meals effortlessly. She loves to work with seafood, fresh and local flavours and can cater to any dietary needs. Her bubbly yet calming character will make sure you are fully relaxed and have an unforgettable holiday.

The trip was a huge success! I cannot thank Raph and Amber enough for being so helpful in navigating me through the process. All of their tips and recommendations were perfect as it made for truly the trip of a lifetime for our family. The private transfer was very easy and we are so glad we took it as they ferry and all of the customs processes looked to be crowded and time consuming. The Lena and crew were perfect for us. Raph and Amber are now basically family to us as they exceeded our expectations on every level. Amber spoiled us with 1st class service and foods the entire time, all while catering to our kids and encouraging them to try new dishes and flavors. Raph's enthusiasm, organization, and leadership showed with the immaculate condition of the Lena, detailed planning of activities based on weather, crowds, and beautiful scenery at various destinations. On our 2nd day while at Soggy Dollar, Raph and Amber brought over a game of spikeball and played with the kids for hours allowing my wife and I to relax, explore, and watch the fun and them interacting with new friends which was very rewarding and above and beyond anything we could have imagined. They also coordinated with other captains so we could cross paths and even have a large dinner with some other friends who were on other boats the same week. Each day included new highlights which we all reminisced about after our final dinner which was a lot of fun. Most of my favorite times were just being on and around the boat with everyone in lovely bays and calm waters. And of course - the E-foil was a huge favorite with the kids as it was used for hours daily! I could write so much more detail about each day. We even got a breathtaking view of a rocket launch at night from Florida that blew our minds. In summary, this was an incredible trip that will be a part of our family's memories forever and it are so grateful to have been booked with the best crew and boat to match our budget, personalities, and requests. I would strongly endorse and recommend The Lena, Raph and Amber to anyone interested in having the best trip of their lives.

Our trip was fantastic! The water was beautiful, the boat was immaculate, and the food was 5-star! Captain Raph was very professional, whilst also being great company and Amber was an amazing chef! Thanks for a wonderful experience! Lena was very clean, beautiful, and extremely comfortable. As wonderful as the boat was, Raph and Amber were the secret sauce to our successful trip! Raph lead us to beautiful, blue-watered coves, and caves. Amber, our chef, created wonderfully healthy food that was decedent too! She is an artist and a master of her craft. We would love to join Raph and Amber again!

Our crew on Lena went above and beyond in every facet of our charter experience on this beauty of a boat. From the itinerary to the camaraderie, Raph made an immediate connection with us, made us laugh, inspired us to maximize every adventure (which we definitely did!) and showed exemplary leadership skills keeping us organized and having fun every minute of the day. There was not a single detail overlooked during our week with him and the chef, who was equally incredible, and satisfied our every culinary request, again, going above and beyond. We will DEFINITELY be back and we miss them already!
