Capt. Terry “TC” Carter is a fourth generation Floridian who has spent most of his life on or around the water. While growing up on the sandy shores of St. Petersburg, he developed a deep love for the sea and began feeling the calling of distant shores. After his service in the US Air Force, he moved back to the Sun Coast where he started an entertainment company specializing in providing music for a wide range of audiences. When you couple that with his enjoyment of mixing a delightful libation, it quickly becomes evident he is drawn to ensuring a good time is had by all. His passion for orchestrating a festive experience has melded itself beautifully with his desire to live on the ocean. The consummate professional combined with the quintessential entertainer is certain to leave you wishing for one more day on your Caribbean getaway.

Chef Suzanne “Z” Carter hails from Philadelphia, PA where she studied under some of the best Italian cooks on the east side. She learned at an early age that perfectly blended herbs and spices will bring your dish to the next level. Her family moved to St. Petersburg, FL where her eyes were immediately drawn to the sea. Through the years her need to be in the islands never waned nor did her desire to create mouth watering meals. Her dishes are best described as elegantly simplistic. A wide range of culinary styles beautifully blended with fresh local ingredients, a superb mixture of herbs and spices, and sprinkled with a pinch of Mama’s love will have you begging for seconds. But trust me, you are going to want to save room for dessert!

Capt. TC and Chef Z began sailing together 10 years ago when they decided to leave their corporate jobs and head for the islands. They both obtained their Captain’s licenses and spent a few years chartering sunset cruises and day sails on their boat before departing for the US Virgin Islands. They bounced from island to island through the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, USVIs, BVIs, and down to Grenada and back. During that time as they honed their skills on the water, Z expanded her knowledge of Caribbean cuisine. Upon returning to St. Thomas, it was obvious to them they were meant to charter guests. So if you’re looking for picturesque anchorages, snorkeling with sea turtles and spending your evenings soaking up Mai Tai’s and sunsets, think of Capt TC and Chef Z. They are “The Letter Crew” sailing the Virgin Islands on “Let’s Play Two.”

TC and Z could not have done anything more to make our trip better. From the minute my family of 5 stepped on the boat till our last goodbye, TC and Z took care of our every need and want. I personally was a little wary of being on a boat for a week and I have a history of getting seasick. They were always concerned with making sure I felt comfortable everywhere we went and planned a course with my travel issues in mind. The boat itself is great and has lots of warm, homey touches. Z's cooking is outstanding! Her presentation is beautiful, but the taste is even better. We looked forward to every meal and whatever fabulous dish and dessert we were going to have, always accompanied by whatever great drinks TC made for us. Both TC and Z are an absolute pleasure to be around. They were not only attentive, but also warm, personable and extremely knowledgeable. We felt completely comfortable in their very capable hands. The trip itself around the USVI was an amazing adventure. We saw a lot of different marine life, went to great beaches, swam, jumped off the boat, kayaked, paddle boarded, hiked and snorkeled. The week we spent on Let's Play Two was invaluable family time, during which we made memories that we will last a lifetime. I could not recommend TC and Z and Let's Play Two more.

Sundowners and The Big Blue - what could be better?! Our time aboard SY Rapscallion was absolutely perfect! Captain Richard and Suzanne were THE BEST!! Great dynamics!! Very welcoming and genuine! Perfect for our family. Love the laid back atmosphere and even though the covid-19 threw us a challenge, we managed to stop in amazing anchorages and enjoy the vast snorkeling opportunities! The pier @ Fredriksted is an absolute must when visiting St Croix! Suzanne, many thanks for your wonderful cooking skills! Everything was beautiful and so so tasty! (Kudos on the homemade sweet and sour mix!) Amazing job! Cannot stress enough! Above & beyond! To both Captain Richard and Suzanne - Humble thanks for sharing your sailing knowledge! As we've mentioned this is our dream to live aboard full-time. Appreciate your patience and involvement more than you know! Will has been in his happy place for the last 10 days for sure! haha Seriously you both have been great! Many many thanks for making this a most memorable trip for our family! I bet Emory will talk (& talk, & talk, & talk..) about her time aboard for years to come! haha Until next time... Fair winds & following seas, Will, Rayna, Elle, Emory & Ryan PS - Mind the "sugar cubes"

I've had several people ask about our recent vacation. It was AMAZING btw!! If you're interested in booking a charter for your family, please reach out! Captain Richard and Suzanne were THE BEST!! And don't worry, you won't have to do ALL the work! Seriously what an experience! I highly, highly recommend!

Dear Richard & Suzanne, The Rapscallion has been the prefect home for us this week and we can't thank you enough for your generosity and hospitality. We loved tubing in Magens Bay, stargazing off St John and snorkeling in countless beautiful coves. Suzanne, the food was incredible - we especially loved the banana pancakes, crab cakes, sun dried tomato ravioli and ALL the deserts! Richard, you make the best "Painkiller", if this Captain thing doesn't pan out, you'll make an excellent mixologist. Thanks for sharing evening card games and giving us a vacation we'll never forget..although a few dolphins would have been nice lol! -Nick, Katherine, Sloan, Reese & Grace
News Years Charter 2021
The trip was great. And the crew (TC & Z) were absolutely amazing. TC really knew his stuff, about the islands, sailing, and the boat, and was super focused on ensuring we were enjoying ourselves! Z's cooking was amazing - she really did a great job exceeding expectations and surprising us with meals everyday, which is not easy given the closed quarters. and they really made us feel comfortable aboard the ship. I would 1 million % charter with this crew again - they were awesome. The boat itself was very clean and did not "feel" 4 years old. Best, Rob
