Christmas 2015
Ryan, was an outstanding Captain, very competent in strong winds, very cordial and very pleasant with my whole family. First mate Barrett was also very professional and great with my family especially my teenage kids. Ryan and Barett new the islands well and put a first class itinerary together for us. Excellent cooking, very casual as we had asked, good variety. All requested drinks were available and in good quantity. Attention was made to look at our preferences and design a meal program around our requests. The boat was great. Lots of room- we each had a state room. All equipment was in great shape or new - ie: life jackets. The hand crafted paddle board was great.
Everyday was an Adventure!
We really enjoyed our vacation on Siren Song! The boat was clean and inviting. The food was excellent and prepared just as we requested, the frozen blended cocktails were great. Everyday was an adventure and we especially liked the Baths in Virgin Gorda. We sailed, snorkeled, hiked, sunbathed, and dined in wonderful places. The shopping at local cultural stores and museums was an adventure. Ryan and Morgan were so knowledgeable and fun to be with! We will be back!
Everyone has an amazing time!
Our group of 6 had an amazing time. We did a 7 day full charter with Captain Ryan Bane and the Siren Song charter. Everything was included, premium alcohol, mixers, beer and more. They also offered snacks and cooked us a great breakfast lunches and dinners. Captain Bane knew the area very well and took us to some secluded beach areas and great swimming spots. The boat was incredible, equipped with snorkeling gear, kayaks, water toys and more. The inside of the boat was very luxurious and well taken care of. For sure taking this charter again when we come down to the Virgin Islands. Highly Recommended.
Infectious sense of adventure!
Such a personable and friendly Captain and Crew, with an infectious sense of adventure that will take you across the USVI and BVI to explore the wonders of the Caribbean! Such amazing adventures were had on their beautiful and well-kept boat (and delicious food!). Siren Song is a great charter that comes highly recommended.
COMF AND COZY FOR 6!
The boat is amazing comfy and cozy for 6 people. The crew is extraordinary, taking care of you the whole time meeting any needs. Morgan makes amazing drinks and delectable meals. Captain Ryan is personable, funny and doubles as the grill master on the boat. They make quite the dynamic duo. Tons of activities like paddle boarding, kayak, board games, snorkeling and smash ball. Never a bad time on Siren Song!
20th Anniversary memories!
My husband and I went on this trip for our20th wedding anniversary. We brought another couple with us. We had SOOO much fun and had great adventures. We went to Waterlemon Bay and we snorkels and saw 3 turtles, Rays, eels and fish galore! The service on the boat was great. Ryan and Morgan were very helpful, knowledgeable and were great crew. This was our best trip yet and we can't wait to sail with them again!
Siren Song is the best!
My wife and I love the BVI's and this was our fourth trip there, and our second with the family. The last time we went we "bare-backed" with another family and had a blast. This time, it was just our family and we decided to Charter our week with the Siren Song so that we could enjoy the family and the area more. BEST decision we made! Captain Ryan & Morgan were the consummate hosts for our family of five. With a 15 year old boy, and 12 and 10 year old girls they were able to make adjustments on the fly so that each of them enjoyed their vacation. The boat accommodations were perfect for our party. The crew keep the boat neat and tidy and it presented very well. There were plenty of games on board and Morgan was the first to join in with the family playing multiple rounds. The activities each day were laid out and adjustments were made to steer us towards "family friendly" activities and environments so that everyone had a great time. They were especially attentive to the kids needs, while preparing the perfect adult beverages for the parents! Having been to the BVI multiple times we were able to see a number of new places and adventures while enjoying the highlights of the Willie T, Bitter End, Baths, and Jost Van Dyke. The snorkel spots they took us to were great and perfect for the family to be able to spend as much or little time there as we wanted. Ryan and Morgan were the perfect hosts! Both are very knowledgeable of the area and were quick to point out hiking spots, snorkel spots and great beaches to go hang out on. They are both very happy and upbeat people and eager to get you going or leave you alone if you want to relax and chill on the topside hammock. Morgan's meals were very tasty and offered us a great variety throughout the week. His drink selections even better. highly recommend chartering with Ryan & Morgan aboard the Siren Song for your family vacation or any other vacation. You will not be disappointed with the boat, the captain or chef, or the destinations that they will take you to. Thanks guys!!
Good times aboard Siren Song!
These guys, Captain Ryan and First mate/ chef Morgan know how to show you a good time. I couldn't wait to post how fabulous my week was. From start to finish. Greeted with fresh baked (still hot) cookies, champagne and bloody mary's were just the start. After sailing and anchoring at Hawksnest Beach for a swim with the fish and yes, a huge turtle we were treated to by far the best Fatais I have ever had. Perfectly cooked beef and chicken on the boats grill to a set up of make our own with every one could want. I highly recommend this vessel to all.
Fun in the sun!
Our day sailing with Ryan on Siren Song Charters was amazing! Ryan and Morgan were so welcoming and fun to spend the week with. The food was great and the boat is gorgeous. We snorkeled in St. John and visited the BVIs. The baths and north sound undoubtably the highlight of our trip!
Ryan and Morgan are the best!
We spent four days aboard the Siren Song, and it was the experience of a lifetime. The islands, scenes, and dive spots were beautiful. Party opportunities are equally as available as quiet and uninhibited personal time. I was blown away. Ryan (the Captain with an undergrad degree and MBA from Michigan State) and Morgan (with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and masters at First Mate University) are smart and fun dudes...and quite polished. They're able to show you the islands from a local perspective, versus the touristy cruise-line in and out. They also demonstrate the epitome of first class service, and will end up being guys you want to keep in touch with. It was surprising how close the island destinations were to one another, and the trips between were incredibly relaxing. Anyone fearing sea-sickness need not worry, due to the double hulls and lulling coasting speeds (6-8 knots). You can visit the US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, and more, in a matter of minutes or hours. If you have the opportunity, 5+ days are ideal. Make sure to hit up Willy T's on Norman, in Blight Bay. Due to weather, we weren't able to check out Jost Van Dyke (and the infamous Soggy Dollar), but we hear they're a must-see. Either way, Ryan and Morgan will guide you around the islands appropriately, without pushing any agenda. I highly recommend the venue, and if you want to amplify a good vibe, request them to play "Doses and Mimosas" over the ample sound system. I plan to be back regularly, whether it be with my bros, and/or wife and kids.
5 Amazing days aboard Siren Song!
I was very fortunate to get to spend 5 days with Captain Ryan, his First Mate Morgan, and a few friends aboard the Siren Song. I don't think I could have dreamed up a better trip. We sailed from St. John and went snorkeling the first day. Morgan and Ryan supplied snorkeling gear and helped get it all setup for us. We had a great time checking out different coves and bays with tons of tropical fish, coral and more. I saw the largest puffer fish you could imagine and a huge sting ray. During our trip we went to the BVI. Ryan and Morgan made it super easy for us to check in to customs and get us on our way. We didn't even have to get off the boat. We made it all the way out to Norman Island and hooked up to a mooring in a bay. Ryan and Morgan took us out to a large boat called Willy T's where we were able to grab food and drinks. It was a really unique experience. We met people from all over the world, including a crew from France who were circumnavigating the globe. The next day we did two snorkeling stops. Our first stop we did was to see a coral reef and two caves nearby. I am not the strongest swimmer but Ryan had some floating noodles to use to help with snorkeling. It was a nice touch that they thought of and made me feel more comfortable getting out into the ocean. Morgan even came out with us and showed us two awesome caves and explained what types of fish we were seeing. This was my first time on a large catamaran and I didn't really know what to expect. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and the sheets, towels and decor were really nice. The living room and kitchen area were big and there was plenty of space to relax. The main deck in the back had a large seating area with a big table we typically used to eat at. Ryan had nice large coolers on board for drinks and Morgan cooks up some great food. I would recommend bringing sun screen as you will get a lot of sun snorkeling. I even think it's a good idea to bring a long sleeve polyester shirt that dries quickly in case you burn easily. I wore sandals, board shorts, and quick dry t-shirts everywhere we went and it worked out well. I never saw a need to dress up even at the fancier places we visited. I was surprised at how many places accepted credit cards through out our trip. You will still want some cash, but you don't need to carry large amounts ($200+). I would absolutely recommend Siren Song Charters to anyone visiting the the US Virgin Islands or the BVI. I can't wait to go back.
Adventures with Ryan & Morgan
We have sailed four times in the BVIs and this charter was the best! Ryan and Morgan are great hosts and fun to sail the islands. They know many nice coves and beaches. Morgan took us on adventurous hikes on the islands. The boat was spacious and clean. Good food and drink per our requests. My favorite day was in the bite at Norman Island!
A wonderful week aboard Siren Song!
We had a wonderful week on board the Siren Song cruising the Virgin Islands. Each day was a new and different adventure. Walking beautiful beaches, hikes through the forest to the top of an island, snorkeling in crystal clear waters filled with tropical fish, feeding the tarpon at Sabo Rock, exploring "The Baths", every day's activities were most enjoyable. Morgan taught me to paddle board on the calm waters of a bay and mixed up fabulous drinks and prepared delicious meals. Ryan is an experienced captain and host who knows how to create a unique experience based on the things that you like to do. Both guys are very enjoyable to be around, there when you need them, while letting you decide the amount of activity you desire. The sleeping quarters are comfortable although you won't spend much time in your room. They boat itself is very roomy and provides plenty of space for onboard activities. Ryan and Morgan made our enjoyment their priority, while doing everything in a safe and professional manner. I would highly recommend Siren Song Charters to anyone looking to spend a week or a day in the USVI and BVI.
THE TRIP WAS AMAZING!!!!
I thought Ryan and Ashley were great! They were super nice/friendly and engaged very well with both us and our kids. The itinerary they laid out was fantastic offering a nice blend of snorkel/water activities with short/long sails and relaxing time. They involved us in deciding our next plan and were helpful in outlining the pros and cons of decisions about where to go nexti.e. we decided not to go to Anegada this time and opted for more time on Virgin Gorda, which was the right call for this trip, but would likely choose to go to Anegada next time! J The food was delicious! It is always difficult to cook for a mix of adults and kidsI know this acutely since I am the cook in our family, but Ashley did a great job. I dont think we pushed the boundaries of her cooking expertise at all, but I could tell she could offer a lot more for a group of adults . The boat was perfect for a group our size. We took full advantage of the tubing, paddle boarding and snorkeling. The boat was in great condition and clearly maintained well. We all felt very close to Ryan and Ashely by the end of the trip and miss them already. I sincerely hope they take us up on our offer for them to visit us on the west coast during their off season! All in all I would recommend Ryan and Ashley to everyone that would want to explore a trip like this and we are already talking about when we might be able to do it again!!"
