Sofia Åhr
Nation: Italian, Swedish, French
Born: 1999

Liall and Sofia come from the world of superyachts, where they catered to the top 1% aboard luxurious vessels up to 140 meters in length. Both are certified Master of Yachts 200T and bring extensive experience in navigating a variety of vessels while upholding the highest standards of service!
So far, they have cruised the Mediterranean, Caribbean, US East Coast, Indian Ocean, and even Siberia. They love spending their days on the water, whether it’s surfing, exploring beaches, scuba diving, or casting a line for some fishing.

Liall grew up along the East Coast of South Africa and Mozambique, where his connection to both the ocean and the land was formed. A dedicated surfer, he’s always on the hunt for the next wave. His love for adventure has taken him on several overland trips and safaris across Africa, including a year-long journey through 13 East African countries in a campervan. Before making the switch to yachting, Liall worked as a construction site manager in South Africa, where he developed a hands-on approach to life. Whether fixing or building, he’s always creating something with his hands.

Sofia’s background blends Italian and Swedish heritage—her mother is from Le Marche in Italy, and her father is from Stockholm. She grew up in the South of France, near Cannes, and later studied architecture at McGill University in Canada. After moving into yachting, Sofia has explored 46 countries across four continents. Whether she's enjoying a luxurious vacation in a trendy destination or rough camping in the remote bush of Africa and Asia with no hot water or toilets, she embraces it all for the simple thrill of discovering a new place. A passionate cook, she believes the best food is made at home. Her love for Mediterranean cooking comes from her nonna’s cherished family recipes, which she continues to prepare with pride.

Both avid adventurers, they have found the perfect boat to call home. They’d love to share their favorite spots around the BVI with you!

Perfect !!
Thank you so much for an incredible experience! The crew was so attentive and helpful, they took us to the best spots. There was everything we needed for a perfect trip. Food and drinks were incredible. 10/10 recommend for anyone visiting Tortola <3
We absolutely loved it
A Note to thank you, Sofia and Liall, for a superb trip. It was exactly what we had in mind, an excellent introduction to messing with catamarans under sail. What we especially want to convey is our appreciation of your professionalism, impeccable service, flexibility, just the right tone of informality, and a perfect understanding of what we wanted. You brought your super-yacht standards of service to the BVI!
