Sergio Mardesic

Born: 1986
Captain Ivica comes from a long line of professional seafarers and has over twenty years of experience in the marine industry (including his early days on reefer ships, cruising ships and passenger ships carrying thousands of passengers daily). Before buying his own boat, Angelica, he sailed all over the world.
Ivica supervised all the work on Angelica while she was being refitted. As a captain, he takes great pride in creating tailor-made charter experiences for his guests. He works closely with guests to make sure he fully understands their expectations and wishes. He is an enthusiastic captain with a wonderfully positive attitude that is always reflected by the rest of the crew.

Ivica is a keen sportsman who particularly enjoys playing water polo and basketball.
He looks forward to welcoming his guests on board Angelica and wishes everyone a wonderful cruise on the Adriatic.

Sergio is a prize-winning young chef from Korcula, having participated successfully in a number of local gastronomic competitions. For Sergio, a cuisine is not just about food, or immaculate presentation, it is a lifestyle and a philosophy that guides him through life.
Although a specialist in the Mediterranean cuisine, Sergio is also an expert in international gastronomy. He enjoys cooking for small groups, an environment that enables him to meet everyone’s food preferences. He wants everyone to fully enjoy his creations. Sergio has brought in a new dimension to Angelica's charters, allowing guests to experience fantastic gourmet tours on this elegant and beautiful yacht.

Stewardess: Maja Gugic

Deckhand: Nikola Gugic

Angelica is a family run yacht. The family loves the sea, and is devoted to their boat and providing hospitality on board. Nikola, Ivica's and Maja's son, has been sailing with his parents from a young age. What started as childhood fun is now his passion and work. Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
