We had a fantastic time. I can’t say enough about Chris and Natali and the care they put in to the trip. Amazing what they accomplish with a crew of 3. Such warm and caring people. Food was tasty and healthy. Itinerary and things to do we’re excellent. Boat was great for our group. Everyone enjoyed the galley up because we could spend time with Natali. Made for a much homier atmosphere. Many thanks to you and the crew for making this such a successful charter.

The best crew of Natalie, Peter and Chris Taking care of our every wish Charming Natalie cooking the most delicious food And smiley Peter creating the best mood. Most importantly Captain Chris Heading the crew that we will all miss. Jumping up for turtle spotting And back to the beach for pirate treasure plotting Leo’s naked dancing won the vote Making our own version of the “party boat”. Henry’s highlight was learning to water ski And luckily no hospital needed for Teddy’s knee, The boat definitely proved its worth. Thanks God Teddy made it back down to Earth! A varied charter this was set to be From ages 3 to 73 this Antiguan adventure joining the family We met as strangers 9 of us and crew But as time went on our friendship grew and grew. We have just left Calmao and we are already missing it all!! As you mentioned before, we would be surprised by the quality of the boat. Everything was amazing: decoration, spacious areas and a special touch in every detail. On top of that, and even more important, the quality and dedication of the crew was outstanding. They went the extra mile to make sure that we enjoyed every second of the experience. We are certainly looking forward to sail in this boat with this crew again. -------------------------- These last seven days were a kind of a dream for the whole group. Every single minute on Calmao with Chirs, Natalia and Peter was just amazing. I’ll promise you a detailed feedback through some of the almost 2.000 pictures we took.
March 2018
It was hard waking up this morning amid the hustle and bustle of Houston traffic. Sure missed my morning cup of coffee overlooking the BVIs waiting for a delicious breakfast from Natalie. Our family had a fantastic time. Your boat and your impeccable service made it a trip of a lifetime. We truly miss being with you and miss being among the beauty of the BVIs. Thank you again. We hope to be on Calmao again soon.
December 2018
The charter was great. We were very lucky on the weather, had a like minded crew, and everything was very relaxing.
March 2019
Dear Calmao Family, It was an amazing experience to join CALMAO once again. We had built a close and strong relationship that can allow us to call you as a family. We have been so impressed with you always kindness and devoting to make us comfortable and enjoyable at the same time. We shared nice experiences but more important than that is that we learned from you how to make everyone close, happy and gathering. From last year to now you have been even better and we used to sing a song in Portuguese from Gonzaguinha that says „the beauty of always beaing an apprentice” Peter, Natalie and Chris, our true thank you for this amazing week that we will never forget. A. and L., congratulations of having been able to put together a combination of amazing boat with outstanding crew!
March 2019
Thank you for the most spectacular week. Your energy is incredible – the sailing, sights, snorkelling, water sports were fantastic! The food was beyond amazing – I have never had so many unbelievable meals in one week. It was a wonderfully, relaxing week with so many laughs & great memories for the whole family. It couldn’t have been more perfect. We don’t want to leave!!! This week we felt so relaxed, safe, well nourished, immersed in nature and soothed by your amazing attention to detail – you exceeded our expectations! Highlights for me were fun family meals with Natalia’s incredible cooking, playing in the water, enjoying the peaceful surroundings – Chris always had us in the best spots secluded, with amazing sunsets! And we’re not sure we can live without Peter! His natural smile and positivity made every day extra fun – getting the adults up on water skis, kids tubing, exploring shipwrecks, hiking… Thank you all! Chris – you and your crew gave us the best vacation and we will be dreaming of Natalia’s tomato spread  I started planning this trip 3 years ago and had high expectations. They were exceeded in every way. The Food was unreal, amazing spots to spend the night. Could not have been better. I had so much fun sailing in the BVI. The food was the best I ever have had in my life. Some of my highlights from the trip are snorkelling, eating and relaxing. Thank you Peter for being our first mate and you did a great job bringing as tubing and snorkelling. This is one of my favourite trips I have ever gone on. Chris you did great job sailing us around and we would never have seen such amazing places without you. The boat was kept so clean and the boat was nice. Thank you very much for the trip. This trip has been amazing! Chris, you are a good captain. You know all the best spots to go and sailed the boat very well. Peter, you are a great first mate. You did a great job teaching tubing and snorkelling. Natalia, you are an amazing cook! It was the best food I’ve ever eaten.
April 2019
Dear Natalia, Chris and Peter, Our Calmao experience has been everything and then some! From the second we got onto the boat and stuffed our faces with Natalia’s crudités platter to the very last glorious sunset. I can say without hesitation that this trip has surpassed any and all expectations, and because of that my family and I are eternally grateful. The energy on Calmao radiates positivity – from morning yoga//meditation overlooking the ocean to snorkelling and splashing about… not to mention the overwhelming love and devotion that each of you have put in to making our experience spectacular. The amount of hard work that you all have put in is inspiring. The level of fluidity in every task from cooking, sailing and keeping our home for the week pristine is a huge accomplishment in itself. The three of you have poured your heart and soul into Calmao and it allowed for this trip to be one of the most memorable, if not the most memorable we have done. I would like to thank Peter for this constant smile that truly lightened every morning. For showing us the best snorkelling spots, taking the family tubing, keeping the boat spotless, and amazing us with your table setting skills aka napkin origami! To Captain Chris, for making the best gin 3 tonic known to man ; I know Laurentius is in awe of the cocktail spoon. For bringing us to some of the most beautiful parts of the world and always making us feel safe and comfortable at sea. Lastly Natalia, words cannot describe the deliciousness of your food! Your mastery of cuisines is unbelievable, but more importantly the art of you is pure magic. (P.S. the palo santo was heavenly) All in all, we have truly appreciated everything you have done for us this past week and we hope to see you soon :) Joanna, Laurentius, Chris Chris, Natalia, Peter! It was an absolute joy being with all of you aboard Calmao! You all made my dream boat a true Dream! Thanks for taking care of each of us! Much love from all – Ryder, Joanna, Chris
April 2019
Dear Captain Chris, Natalie and Peter, Wow! Our second trip on CALMAO was equally amazing as our 1st, and we will never forget the fun times we had with you in the Grenadines. Our island-hopping, drone-recorded cliff- jumps, water skiing, snorkelling, fishing (Barracuda), massages, “TOGA Party”, full moon watching, bow riding/snorkel/big waves channel-crossing, recipe-sharing with endless toasts & cheers was much needed to recharge our energy & spirits. Thank you for becoming part of our forever friendship group, and for being our family-home away from home on the CALMAO!! We feel so blessed to have met the 3 of you! Congratulations once again on your engagement… and best of luck to Peter in his future endeavours! You are all food for our souls, positive feel-good energy that everyone needs in their lives!!! Traveling with the 3 of you has taught us more about life and travel, and most importantly given us new experiences, memories to remember as we age and years go by, and challenged us to grow as humans and take in the beauty of life and travel!! You are amazing inside and out – and we can’t wait to visit you again, wherever we all land – for now we are lucky to have technology to keep us connected!! Thank you for being as excited to share this week together as we were, for being so thoughtful in all the things you did for us everyday – and always with a SMILE!!! Love your spirits! Kathie and Kim
Rates are Plus Expenses
Summer 2021:

Low Season: €39 000 + APA 25% + VAT
High Season: €43 000 + APA 25% + VAT

Winter 2021/2022:

1-6 pax: $55 000
7 pax: $56 000
8 pax: $57 000
9 pax: $58 000

Weekly rates are all inclusive except special requests (fine wines, champagne, specific alcoholic drinks, excessive alcohol consumption), local cruising taxes and permits, air fares, transfer airport/yacht/airport, dockage fees if any, use of communications means available on board and crew gratuity. Fuel included for 4 hours on engine daily.

For the Caribbean all-inclusive charters a small APA of 5% is recommended to cover the local cruising permits and any other additional expenses.

USVI pickup/drop off - $500

*Christmas / New Year's Rate: 20% surcharge is applied.

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
