David joins MY Fiorente with over 16 years’ experience in the industry, working predominantly on charter yachts with many repeat clients. David is also used to the key event charters in the Med, including the Monaco Grand Prix and yacht show and the Cannes film festival.
David’s more recent yachts include MY Lady Jane, MY Solaris, MY Bibich Too and MY Junie II.
David has a keen interest in architecture, having taken time out to build his own 280m2 solar-passive prefabricated wooden house. David is an active Captain, enjoying many outdoor activities including cycling, running and rowing where he was twice Italian champion in 1987 and 1989.

Ivano has recently joined MY Fiorente after being in the Yachting Industry for the past 15 years. Over the years, Ivano has gained many skills which now makes him cable of managing a professional and dynamic team, to keep the guests happy at all times.
Ivano enjoys water activities such as sailing, diving as well as cycling, practicing yoga and reading in his own time.

CHEF: Lauretta Zompi - Italian
Returned Summer 2020
Following her success and popularity with the guests in 2019, Fiorente welcomes back Lauretta! This experienced chef has worked as a charter chef most notably on M/Y Odyssey, as well as holding chef position at Casino Royale, and executive chef in Casa del Campo, in the Dominican Republic. She also has extensive hospitality experience managing VIP events and guests for the David Zard Organisation, (Italian organiser of live events). Lauretta loves cooking Mediterranean cuisine and has an artistic flair in her presentation. Her specialty and passion is pastry, Lauretta excels in baking and cake design, and small chocolates.
She also makes her own home-made pasta, and has a range of vegan dishes in her repertoire.

CHIEF STEWARDESS: Megan Wolff - Piggott - South African

Currently reading Business and Economics at the University of Pisa, not only does Megan fit yachting around her studies, but returns to Fiorente for a 2nd season! Originally from Pretoria, South Africa, Megan describes herself as energetic and hardworking and she is very much looking forward to the season ahead. Joining this crew of 7 as a strong team player Megan enjoys swimming, free diving and underwater hockey and is ready to take on any challenge that comes her way.

Kinga has recently graduated as a sport and exercise scientist and confesses her passion for everything to do with human function, mechanism and the organism! This, together with psychology as her main drive, she says, allows her not only to develop herself as a person but also enables management of stressful situations.
Kinga’s experience in the yachting industry has been varied so far and she is happy to have gained experience in all interior departments.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing sport, and pursuing her interest in fashion.

Slovenian born Volcic has been working in the yachting industry as an engineer since 2004. His career so far has seen him working on a variety of vessels and he has worked hard to obtain the chief engineer for less than 3000KW certification.
Joining Fiorente in May 2019 Volcic looks forward to being an integral part of the crew and when not in the engine room he loves to spend time with his family and is a keen sportsman enjoying a multitude of sports to include hiking, trekking, mountain biking and dinghy sailing.
