Kelly Sargent
Nation: Portuguese/British
Born: 1994
License: STCW, ENG 1
Hailing from South Africa, Wouter grew up going on weekend retreats with his family to engage in water sports where he transformed into a water dog and will be able to teach you some basic water sport tricks. He started sailing around the Mediterranean and Caribbean working for a large flotilla company. In the last year Wouter has sailed a catamaran from Cape Town to Grenada and delivered a couple of boats throughout the Caribbean. In the past year, he has been working as a sailing instructor for Sailing Virgins where he has had the pleasure to teach and share his love for the sport with others. With a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore ticket and fully Certified ASA instructor, Wouter will be sure to teach you a thing or two about sailing if you dare to get your hands dirty.

Kelly was first introduced to the yachting world in 2016 on a solo trip to Australia when she boarded her first charter as a guest in the Whitsunday Islands. The following year Kelly embarked on a couple more sailing trips to Croatia and the Caribbean, which became the inspiration for leaving her job as a designer in London and making the transition to yachting. In 2019, Kelly started her adventure on the water cooking around Greece and Croatia and most recently worked in the Caribbean before relocating to The Bahamas to join Kittiwake.
Coming from a family of cooks, Kelly has always enjoyed spending time in the kitchen so it was no surprise that after attending The Avenue Cookery School she only strengthened her culinary skills and grew her passion for combining flavors and textures to create interesting dishes. Kelly is also able to work with any dietary requirements and will tailor the menu specifically to you.

Wouter and Kelly met in Croatia while working for the same company. They are both outgoing characters who love meeting new people and look forward to welcoming you aboard Kittiwake for a week of adventure and exploring.

Eckerson Charter
What a great time! Wouts & Kelly were knowledgable, efficient and most of all, lots of fun. Wouts so patient with sailing instruction and especially the tying of knots. Kelly is an excellent cook of a wide variety of dishes. Both, however, are terrible card players, and Kelly won't be making singing her new career! Seriously though, would definitely run this trip back on Kittiwake and its great crew!
