My passion for the sea began at the age of 9, when I first started competitive sailing in small boats. Over the years, I continuously progressed to larger vessels, eagerly awaiting the moment I could obtain my offshore sailing and speedboat licenses upon reaching adulthood.
Throughout my sailing career, I have achieved notable distinctions, including five Northern Greece Championship titles, two of which I won as a skipper or co-skipper. Since 2010, I have been a certified yacht measurer for the Hellenic Sailing Federation, further solidifying my expertise in the field.
At the age of 18, I began working as a professional skipper, initially spending summers sailing across the Aegean Sea before transitioning to the Ionian Sea in recent years.
Beyond my professional sailing career, I am passionate about the sea and outdoor activities. My hobbies include sailing and diving, and I maintain a healthy, non-smoking lifestyle.

Thank you so much for the great care shown to us for our charter last week. It is a breath of fresh air to work with a company so honest and willing to go the extra mile. We had a great time, and you have certainly secured my business for the future.
August 2020
It was the best trip ever. We loved the boat and our captain Panos and couldn’t fault a thing.Thank you so much for all the effort and prompt response to all our enquiries. We will definitely use you again. 10/10.

This holidays have been one of the best we had on the boat. Panos combines the technics of sailing, with high human qualities. He's a great professional, highly qualified for sailing and managed all situations with ease. Thank you for the choice of crew.

We wanted to write this review message of our charter on Blue Velvet on July 6th. The crew were Captain Panos, hostess Christina and chef Konstantina. We were 9 people, all have had extensive boating and yachting experience on many similar boats. - Hospitality: the team were fantastic, we felt welcomed and cared for every minute of our trip. The hostess Christina was there for us every step of the way to ensure everything was smooth and comfortable. - Food: It was perfect! And furthermore, the chef took special care to accommodate our eating habits and special diets which were not easy. - Navigation: Captain Panos is a true captain and knows his boat and area inside and out. It was very comforting for us to know that we were in good hands on the boat. He took the time to understand our preferences and made sure to suggest the finest places along the way. - Cleanliness: The rooms were kept nicely clean at all times. So was the deck of the boat. - Overall: The crew took amazing care of us. We are very thankful and can’t wait to be back on the Blue Velvet with this crew. They never hesitated to help or turned down a suggestion. It was great to be with them and feel so welcomed.

Summer Base Port: Lefkas main port
Summer Operating Area: Greece

Winter Base Port: Lefkas main port
Winter Operating Area: Greece

Location Details: The mooring base in Lefkas island is accessible by car. The nearest airport is in Aktion, which is about 20km away.
You can also choose to embark in Corfu island, which has its own airport (a relocation fee would have to be considered by the Charterer).

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
