CHEF / STEWARD – Michael Kotsopoulos
This will be Michael's third year on board New Horizons. He is a passionate hard working well-mannered gentleman, with more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality and restaurant sector. He will enchant guests throughout their cruise. He is full of enthusiasm and eager to please his guests. Michael loves cooking, really enjoys new challenges and being part of an inspiring team. He has learned to love and respect the sea. Driven by his love towards the sea he joined the leisure yachting industry four years ago. He assists the Captain with confidence in mooring and he is ready to take over any task that he addresses him with. His cooking skills are also quite advanced, especially when preparing dishes of the Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. He speaks fluent English and we are confident his meals with enchant you!!

One way charters are subject to extra charges according to the destination.
For one way charters departing from Athens the charges are :
- Argosaronic / Central Aegean Sea Euro 450 - Euro 700
- South/ Northern Aegean Sea Euro 900
- Ionian Sea Euro 1,100
Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.
