Captain Giannis was born in 1970. He holds a Captain’s C Diploma and he has participated in many offshore races. With a strong background in both sailing and large motor yachts up to 65 meters, he brings extensive experience in navigation, yacht operations, safety management and crew leadership. Before taking command of M/Y Zoi, Captain Giannis served on several prominent yachts including M/Y Astarte, S/Y Baccara and M/Y Fly Me To The Moon, where he played a key role in deck operations, major refit projects, safety management, and crew coordination. Known for his calm and professional leadership style, strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, Captain Giannis ensures the highest standards of safety, efficiency and guest experience on board. He speaks English and German, enabling clear communication with international guests and crew. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, sailing, swimming and listening to music.
ENGINEER – Michael Govessis
Michael was born in Greece in 1962 and holds an A Class Engineer Diploma. He has attended many seminars in engineering and he started his career on tanker vessels and passenger ships. He entered yachting in 2000 and since then he has worked onboard various charter and private yachts such as M/Y Rini V, M/Y Alexandra and M/Y Vitamin Sea 2. Michael aims to please the guests and with his valuable many years’ experience ensures that everything works smoothly on M/Y Zoi. He makes sure that everyone onboard is safe and secure. Michael speaks English and at his free time he enjoys water sports, fishing and volleyball.
CHEF – Xenia Efthimiou
Chef Xenia is a highly accomplished and skilled chef with an extensive background in the culinary world. She is a graduate of Le Monde Culinary School and she brings years of experience and expertise to every dish she creates. She has worked on many restaurants and luxury resorts worldwide such as Hilton Garden Inn Leiden, in Netherlands. Before joining the team aboard M/Y Zoi, Chef Xenia had the privilege of working on several prestigious yachts, including Navya catamaran. Xenia’s unwavering passion for culinary excellence, combined with her vast knowledge and experience in both fine dining restaurants and luxury yacht environments, makes her an exceptional talent in the world of gastronomy. She speaks English and basic French and enjoys travelling.
STEWARDESS – Katerina Politou
Katerina was born in 1981, with extensive experience in restaurants, hotels and sailing & motor yachts. She joined M/Y ZOI’s excellent team in 2026, delivering high-level guest service and onboard hospitality. Before joining M/Y Zoi she served on board C/M Long Island and M/Y Karma. Katerina is skilled in customer service, team coordination, and daily operations, with a strong focus on creating exceptional guest experiences. Experienced in roles including hostess, chief stewardess, bar manager, and business owner, demonstrating strong organizational, communication abilities. Passionate about hospitality and service excellence, she also enjoys photography, traveling, and music, reflecting her creative and people-oriented personality. What is included in a All Inclusive Charter? What Is NOT Included?
Unless otherwise specified-Caribbean Standard All-Inclusive Charters include the following:
- Standard check-in/check-out of 12pm
- Light daily housekeeping
- Breakfast, lunch, canapés/afternoon tea, dinner and snacks
- Standard ship’s bar: vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila, triple sec, mixers, local beers, table wine and water/coffee/tea and soft drinks
- Stereo with MP3/iPhone connection with indoor/outdoor speakers; 3G/4G Wi-Fi access point
- Snorkeling equipment, fishing gear, kayaks, dingy tender with outboard motors
- Water toys such as floating islands, and air mattresses
- Separate bathroom and living quarters for crew
- Reputable and licensed crew who have local knowledge of waters and are able to adjust menus based on guest’s preferences and dietary restrictions
- Operating expenses including: use of air conditioning, fuel, water, sailing permits/taxes, local taxes and crew wages
