Our Story so far
Meet Mandy Walker
Owner-Wlms Yacht Charters
In 2006, my partner (now husband) dared us to move to another country and start a business. I challenged the dare, and three months later, we had purchased a house with land he had never toured, in a country he had never visited. We had no idea how much the decision to open a small grocery store (which we sold in 2013 and has now become The Winey Gringa) in our front yard in Belize would change our lives and the way we view life.
In 2013, I began working as the Reservation Director for Belize Sailing Vacations. When I left in 2016, Wlms Yacht Charters was born.
As Wlms Yacht Charters has grown, so has my resume. Current certifications and achievements include:

Today, our passion for discovering new horizons continues to drive everything we do. With years of firsthand experience living in Belize, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, and our home base in Bellingham, WA—and with travel to over 40 countries—we bring unmatched global travel experience to every itinerary. As seasoned yacht charter professionals and destination specialists, we don’t just plan trips—we’ve lived the lifestyle, making us true charter yacht experts in multiple locations around the world.

Meet Rory Petrilli
Charter Yacht Specialist
I’m a sailor, skier, traveler, and a lover of the outdoors and adventure! I’ve spent much of my life in the mountains as an alpine ski racer and coach. In 2008, I jumped into the sailing world with the same fervor—competing, teaching, cruising, and captaining charters… and simply loving life on the water!
I began my sailing career in Seattle—racing a multitude of boats—then venturing out for my first Pacific crossing from Mazatlán, Mexico to Hiva Oa, French Polynesia. After leisurely exploring the islands for several months, I was more than hooked! These experiences led me to Belize (following after Mandy and Jason) and to captaining sailboat charters. I truly feel it is the very best way to experience an island, travel, and it makes for the perfect holiday.
My love of the water and charters has brought me to WLMS Yacht Charters—I strive to design a unique and memorable holiday experience perfectly suited to your group.
I’m based in the Hautes-Alpes region of France and spend half the year in Greece—this is ideal to help with all of our Mediterranean charters.

Meet Mavis Davis
Charter Yacht Specialist
Mavis fell in love with the British Virgin Islands when she spent her honeymoon there in 2000. Since then, she has not stopped traveling all over the world, and seeing some of the most beautiful ocean waters (Thailand, Australia, Caribbean, Hawaii, and more).
As a full time travel agent and charter broker with Wlms Yacht Charters, Mavis is constantly learning about the industry and attending boat shows to personally tour the boats and meet the crews first hand.
Mavis is always ready to plan her clients’ next specialized trip – whether it be an ocean cruise, river cruise or a BVI yacht charter. She is always ready to seek out new adventure!
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home in North Carolina with her husband, 2 sons and her favorite child, the fur baby, Kona. She loves to travel the world with her family and friends.

Meet Courtney Graham-Sailing & Motor Yacht Charter Yacht Specialist
I’ve spent nearly two decades immersed in luxury yachting and hospitality, guided by a lifelong connection to the sea and a love of meaningful, experience-driven travel. Growing up sailing in the Pacific Northwest and with parents who loved to adventure, sparked a deep passion for the water and travel. This led me to the Caribbean after university—intending a short work visit, but discovering a lifelong career in yachting.
While in the islands, I teamed up with my best friend, partner, and husband. We ran yachts, both charter and private and living onboard together for over a decade together throughout the Caribbean and beyond. Over time, I have logged more than 15,000 nautical miles at sea, earning a 100 Ton Master Captain’s license and PADI dive certification along the way.
During my time as professional yacht crew, also involved in yacht management, and onboard chef and hostess, I gained hands-on expertise in yacht operations, layouts, crew dynamics, and the details that elevate a charter from good to an enhanced, seamless and unforgettable travel experience.
When starting a family in 2016, my experience and role in the yachting industry was organically redefined and evolved to focus on guiding clients as a charter specialist and broker, thoughtfully matching yachts, crews, and destinations world wide to each travel style. I am an active member of CYBA, VIPCA, and CYS, ensuring every recommendation is current, trusted, and well-vetted.
Yachting has been central to both my personal and professional life. We’re raising two adventure-seeking children and prioritize a life shaped by experience, balance and connection. Outside of charter planning, I love traveling the world and adventuring with my family outdoors – both on the sea, heading to thee mountains, and in comforts close to home. (Sailing, paddle boarding, skiing, hiking, curating new flavors in the kitchen, practicing yoga and working in the garden.)
