A year ago today, Hurricane Irma reached Category 5 status with peak winds of 185 mph (295 km/h). With her first landfall of Barbuda, Hurricane Irma went on to pummel the British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, Saint Martin, and Virgin Gorda before continuing on her path of destruction.
While the Caribbean was faced with unimaginable damage, the resilient people of these incredible islands rallied around each other and worked hard to rebuild. A year on and recovery continues, but while the region was down…it’s certainly was not- and is not- out!

Charters resumed last winter and everyone worked to the welcome tourism…necessary to the continued recovery! And while the evidence of Irma was still visible, our charter guests had fabulous experiences on their holidays throughout the Caribbean.
Now, leading up to next winter and the 2018/19 season, we’re happy to let everyone know that there are many new yachts for charter! Mandy and I will be at the boat shows in Tortola and St Thomas- where combined, they’ll showcase around 75 yachts- giving us time to visit our favorites and check out all the new ones.
Check out the links below on the recovery and the stories from Irma. As we’re working to get many new yachts added to our website, visit regularly to learn about new options…or message us!
