Captain Adam hails from Knysna, South Africa, where
he began his seafaring skills, growing up sailing dinghies
and his father’s majestic 60ft gaff-rigged ketch,
eventually crossing the Atlantic Ocean at the age of 18,
to the Caribbean.
This led him into his career, amounting 25 years of
expert skippering experience with both sail and power
boats (commercial and recreational). He is also a
certified salvage and commercial diver and large crane
operator, he blends his hands-on expertise with a
customer focused approach, prioritizing safety above all
else.
Having called the British Virgin Islands home for 17
years, he possesses an intimate knowledge of the
region’s renowned hotspots and hidden treasures.
Captain Adam has local connections to organize
outstanding dive rendezvous for any enthusiastic diver
on board, or any excursion available to guests in the BVI
or further down the Caribbean if needed.
He is also an avid kiteboarder, and is a master of the
BVI’s premier water sport locations. In his role, he
delights in leading thrilling sailing adventures and water
sport experiences, all aboard the luxurious vessel SY
Bodhisattva, under his command.
When not at sea, Captain Adam treasures every moment
with his cherished daughter, Izzy, and wife, Elisabeth, on
their home island of Tortola.

Born in South Africa, Tamsyn brings along her vast knowledge of the hospitality industry to table. Having 7 years of experience working in Forbes rated hotels, exclusive country clubs and within the yachting industry throughout the United States and the Mediterranean. Tamsyn brings onboard a polished yet personalised style of service, mixology skills and her passion in all things culinary.

From sipping mai thais as the sun goes down to indulging in cuisines from all over the world in a beautiful Caribbean setting. Tamsyn strives to deliver excellence and create unforgettable memories. This discounts applies to bookings confirmed between March 1 and April 15 2026, for available charter dates between March 1 and May 30, 2026. Kindly note this offer applies to new bookings only and cannot be applied to existing reservations. Available now for 6 night minimum charters.

SLEEP ABOARD: The yacht does not offer sleepaboards

LOCAL FARE: Includes: 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 5 dinners. Requires 2 lunches and 2 dinners ashore at client expense.
-For local fare, deduct $150 per person off the charter rate

SAINT MARTIN / SAINT BARTHS RELOCATION FEE:

TIP:
It is customary to tip your crew at the end of your charter. The amount you leave is totally at your discretion and should be based on the level of service provided. The suggested gratuity is 15%-25% of the total charter fee.

  1. Non-alcoholic beverages: still water, sparkling water, La Croix, club soda, coke, coke zero, sprite, sprite zero, ginger beer, lemonade, ice tea, cranberry juice, apple juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, bloody mary mix, grenadine, coconut water, chocolate milk, assorted hot teas and coffee.

  2. Alcoholic beverages: Prosecco, sauvignon blanc, rose, cabernet sauvignon, titos vodka, beefeater gin, lunazul blanco tequila, bacardi white rum, malibu coconut rum, captain morgan spiced rums, goslings dark rum, jameson whiskey, buffalo trace bourbon, aperol, kahlua, baileys and triple sec.

Additional Notes:
  1. All dishes can be customised to suit preferences, allergens or dietary restrictions eg. gluten free, low sodium, low carb, sugar free etc

  2. Meals time may vary or be adjusted to comply with sailing times, on shore visits, preferred wake up times etc.

  3. Assorted popular condiments are always readily available however it is recommended to notify us of your favourite condiments beforehand so we can have them available to you for your trip

  4. Kid-friendly options are always available, eg; Chicken tenders, buttered pasta, hot dogs, grilled cheese, quesadillas, fries, plain grilled chicken, fruit cups etc

Unless otherwise specified-Caribbean Standard All-Inclusive Charters include the following:

  • Standard check-in/check-out of 12pm
  • Light daily housekeeping
  • Breakfast, lunch, canapés/afternoon tea, dinner and snacks
  • Standard ship’s bar: vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila, triple sec, mixers, local beers, table wine and water/coffee/tea and soft drinks
  • Stereo with MP3/iPhone connection with indoor/outdoor speakers; 3G/4G Wi-Fi access point
  • Snorkeling equipment, fishing gear, kayaks, dingy tender with outboard motors
  • Water toys such as floating islands, and air mattresses
  • Separate bathroom and living quarters for crew
  • Reputable and licensed crew who have local knowledge of waters and are able to adjust menus based on guest’s preferences and dietary restrictions
  • Operating expenses including: use of air conditioning, fuel, water, sailing permits/taxes, local taxes and crew wages

What Is Not Included in Standard All-Inclusive Charters:

  • Gratuity for crew. Gratuity is at guest discretion and is typically between 15-20%
  • Meals and beverages at restaurants and bars
  • Rendezvous diving, ASA sailing certification courses and any other offshore excursions
  • Premium wines and spirits

This discounts applies to bookings confirmed between March 1 and April 15 2026, for available charter dates between March 1 and May 30, 2026. Kindly note this offer applies to new bookings only and cannot be applied to existing reservations. Available now for 6 night minimum charters.

SLEEP ABOARD: The yacht does not offer sleepaboards

LOCAL FARE: Includes: 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 5 dinners. Requires 2 lunches and 2 dinners ashore at client expense.
-For local fare, deduct $150 per person off the charter rate

SAINT MARTIN / SAINT BARTHS RELOCATION FEE:
Relocation fee of $2,000, minimum 72 hour turn required on either side of charter dates for boat transit. Please inquire for availability.

TIP:
It is customary to tip your crew at the end of your charter. The amount you leave is totally at your discretion and should be based on the level of service provided. The suggested gratuity is 15%-25% of the total charter fee.
