Captain Theodoros was born in Corfu and he graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos, while he holds a Master Bʼ Class diploma from the Merchant Marine Training Center as well as all certifications and licenses. His wide experience dates back in 2004, when he joined the yachting industry as Chief Officer and Captain on charter and private yachts. He has worked as Captain on board M/Y RENA N, M/Y SAHARA, M/Y MONTE CARLO, M/Y AMPHITRITE, M/Y SMILE, M/Y RENA, M/Y TIPEIYAS, and M/Y GUAPA and on board M/Y SMILE ,M/Y LA VIE as Chief Officer. Prior to working on yachts, Captain Theodoros had been travelling on board tankers for 10 years as 2nd and Apprentice Officer. With a strong work ethic and professionalism, Captain Theodoros ensures that the Guests will have the greatest satisfaction on board the Yacht. He speaks English and Greek.
Spyros Kroustallis:
Spyros holds an Engineer Class A diploma from the Academy Marine Engineer of Aspropirgos and certificates in lifesaving and firefighting appliances, ship security and high-speed craft. Spyros has more than a decade of experience at sea working mostly on passenger vessels, bulk carriers and yachts (M/Y FAN TOO, M/Y WHISPER V), gaining the necessary experience and knowledge. He is really passionate, and hardworking and always does his utmost to ensure the yachtʼs optimal performance.
Dimitris Taramigkos:
Dimitris is a graduate of Le Monde culinary school, and he specializes in Greek traditional and creative Cuisine, Italian, Asian as well as Mediterranean Cuisine. He is very experienced as he has completed many successful seasons as Chef on board luxury yachts as well as in five-star hotels and restaurants throughout Greece. With his exceptional culinary skills, he will create an unforgettable tasting experience for our guests. Dimitris loves reading and travelling.
Nikolas Kamvysis: Chief Steward
Nikolaos was born in Sydney, Australia and has extensive experience in the yachting industry as he has worked on board yachts like S/Y TAMARITA, M/Y TURAMA, AL SALAMAH, M/Y TUEQ M/Y JESTER, M/Y LADY SARYA, M/Y ALEXANDRA and M/Y POSITRON. Nikolaos has
also worked as Butler for VIP Guests in 5* Hotel in Rodos island and in luxury hotels and restaurants in Greece. He is pleasant and hardworking with great communication skills. He holds all the necessary professional qualifications as well as a Steward Class A certificate. With his experience, hard work and great communication skills, Nikolas offers top-notch service onboard. He speaks English, Greek and Dutch.
Peggy Mouchlia
Peggy has a degree in Design and Decoration and she is also a graduate of IEK ALPHA School of Advanced Cooking. She is very experienced as she has worked in luxury hotels and restaurants in Greece. Peggy is very communicative, she has excellent budget management capabilities and planning and prioritization skills. She speaks Greek and English.
Pavlos Tsakos: Bosun
Pavlos has almost thirty years of experience working onboard luxury
yachts as he joined the yachting industry in 1987. His previous experience includes yachts M/Y SEA CROWN, M/Y BENETIA, M/Y LEORCIE and M/S MATINA. Pavlos holds safety and rescue, lifesaving and fire -fighting certificates as well as speed boat license.He is a hard- working and pleasant crew member, always eager to complete any assignment onboard. He speaks English and Greek.
Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.
