Captain
Markus The Johansson
Nation: South African
Deckhand
Mitch Maurer
Nation: American
Captain - Markus the Johansson
I am originally from Sweden and speak Swedish and English fluently, with a working knowledge of German. I began operating boats in the Swedish Marines at the age of 19 and transitioned directly into the yachting industry at 20. I have remained active in yachting for most of my career, taking one year away to obtain my Commercial Helicopter Pilot License. Outside of work, I maintain an active and well-balanced lifestyle. I value quality time with my wife and our dogs and enjoy motorcycle riding on weekends. Fitness and health are important to me, and I have recently developed a strong interest in cooking, appreciating the creativity of experimenting in the kitchen at home. I am passionate about travel and exploring new destinations. Having grown up with winter sports, I take every opportunity to go on ski trips. I also enjoy spending time on the water, particularly wakeboarding.

Deckhand - Mitch Maurer
Born and raised in Stuart, Florida. I am 19 years old, and I spend most of my days on the water fishing and diving. I started boating at the age of 5 and have been addicted ever since. In October 2025, I graduated The Chapman School of Seamanship as valedictorian of my class. I love to travel throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean, my favorite islands so far have to be Grand Cay and Dominica. I also enjoy snowboarding, this 2026 season will be my 6 year going out to Colorado with my family. I’m a very active and dedicated person with a high work ethic that keeps me out of trouble.

Stew - Meghan Perkins
I’m a professional stewardess with over four years of experience working aboard private and charter yachts up to 94 meters. Based in West Palm Beach, I’ve built my career on adaptability, strong attention to detail, and my ability to seamlessly step into new teams while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Throughout my time in the industry, I’ve worked my way up from 3rd Stewardess to Chief Stewardess and Sole Stew, gaining hands-on experience in everything from formal service and wine pairings to large-scale event planning. I’ve had the opportunity to execute memorable guest experiences, including coordinating a 15-guest holiday party and managing dynamic charter trips where every detail matters—from tablescapes to entertainment. I also served as an Interior Instructor, where I created and taught curriculum for aspiring crew members. Mentoring others in service standards, etiquette, and onboard operations was incredibly rewarding and strengthened my leadership skills. I take pride in my ability to anticipate guest needs, create beautiful and thoughtful table settings, and maintain high interior standards behind the scenes. Whether I’m managing housekeeping, organizing service, or supporting administrative tasks, I bring efficiency, creativity, and a calm, professional approach to every role. Freelancing across a variety of vessels has made me highly versatile and confident in fast-paced environments. I’m fully certified (STCW, ENG1, Food Safety), hold a New York Cosmetology License, and I’m available immediately for both permanent and freelance opportunities with flexibility to travel.

This document is not contractual. All specifications are given in good faith and offered for informational purposes only. The publisher and company does not warrant or assume any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information and/or images displayed. Yacht inventory, specifications and charter prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
