Unforgettable experience because the crew (Art & Shawna) made it magical. We can't pick one but all of the stops were fantastic. The onboard experience was 5 stars... The meals, the boat decor, Art & Shawna's personality and their attention to detail made the trip exceptional.
From the moment we met Art & Shawna on the video call we knew we were in good hands and would get along. They bring a 5-star hotel experience to the water. Art was flexible and confident in navigating us to the best spots. Shawna is an excellent chef and her relationship with Art makes the trip seamless and stress free.
Shangri La is a beautiful boat and the crew really make it exceptional.
April 2026 - The Trip was a Dream!
The trip was a dream! We loved everything about it and every moment. Captain Arthur and Shawna are fabulous hosts - kind, warm, welcoming. Shangri La is a beautiful and super comfortable boat. Every meal was amazing, delicious and beautifully presented. We were in awe of what Shawna and Captain Arthur created in the boats kitchen!
We had so much fun on our five day trip - karaoke night, lots of sun and swimming. We went to White Bay, Bitter End, Long Bay, Mahoe Bay, and the Great Harbour - all fantastic! But our favourite was Jost Van Dyke - loved Soggy Dollar and Foxy's!
We could not have asked for more. Thank you so much Captain Art & Shawna for making my birthday and anniversary celebration so perfect - we will be back!
April 2026 - Friendships Have Been Created on This Beautiful Trip with Unforgettable Memories
This was truly a special experience for our first time on a charter vacation in the BVI. The dynamic duo, Captain Arthur & Shawna exceeded all of our dream expectations from the welcome to all of our stops and delicious meals.
Leverick Bay with Michael Beans show to Soggy Dollar at Jost Van Dyke and swimming in the beautiful Caribbean water was amazing!! A special evening of karaoke where Captain Arthur shared his hidden talent with us kicked off a memorable evening. Chef Shawna outdid herself with a great triple unforgettable celebration from birthdays to a 40th wedding anniversary.

Thank you for showing us such an unbelievable time in our first visit to these majestic islands. Your hospitality was over the top and allowed us to relax and unwind quickly. The meals were spot on and catered to our family’s likes so well. We never went hungry yet always waited for the next feeding time with anticipation! Of particular note were the crab bites, banana bread, shrimp pasta, s’mores pie and can’t forget the looney Leprechauns. We prioritize experiences for our family and seek out adventure as a way to teach our kids about the world, other cultures, and ways of life. This week met all of those criteria and we thank you for taking the time to teach, explain, and tell your stories. It was impactful for the kids to observe the simpler life and gain a healthy respect for the seas! And it in fact inspired Jake to come down and become a Christmas Cove Pizza delivery guy! The Shangri La is a beautiful, pristine boat. Our time aboard was relaxing and time to spend with friends. The sunsets and rainbows were beautiful. The hiking trails on St. John Island provide nice vistas of the landscape and up close encounters of the wildlife. The snorkeling and paddle boarding in the beautiful waters is amazing! The meals prepared by chef Julia were amazing! Capt. TC and Chef Julia were very attentive during our stay on the Shangri La. Sailing is definitely the way to experience these beautiful Islands!

Our 3 day trip on Shangri La was wonderful. We had nice weather, pretty sunsets, sea turtle sightings, fun boat rides and we even traveled with the sails up once. Julia is an amazing chef - awesome meals and desserts. - certainly 5-star! TC knows the history of the islands and has a great sense of humor. They both have so much experience - this boat runs like a well oiled machine. TC and Julia wait on you hand and foot and will do anything they can to make your trip more enjoyable. Bless her heart, even made me different meat options with dinners. We had a fabulous time. I’ll highly recommend TC & Julia to our friends. Best of luck!

Happy New Year! Much love from the Kirkland Family. It is truly difficult to even put into words how absolutely incredible this week has been! TC & Julia are the BEST. Y’all came up with a perfect itinerary for us novices and managed to skirt the weather and crowds perfectly so that we felt just enough away from the riff riff while join gin in a tiny bit! Let’s see…Julia’s painkillers were by far the best, but we did enjoy sampling all the ones at Soggy Dollar, Gertrude’s, One Love, Bitter End, Foxy’s and the Willy T! Our little jaunt to Bubbly Pool and the new Jost Van Dyke signage was really cute…New Year at Bitter End, followed by Cooper Island and Norman Island all bookended by Christmas Cove. Snorkeling was incredible, especially the Indians - Wow! Actually, really sailing to St. John was fabulous. Millie and I loved going over every meal including happy hours and desserts. I am sorry none of us but me could finish it all but Julia - truly, your cooking is the best I’ve ever had. All of it! The two of you spoiled us rotten, I’ve not spent a week this pampered in my whole life, and we - well I - needed it. I cannot wait to come backhand let y’all just take us to your favorite spots. Lastly, from me, this week would NOT have been as special with anyone else but the two of y’all. We love you both and know our home in Nashville is open to y’all anytime!

From the moment we stepped on the boat, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We really won the lottery with TC and Julia! All our needs and wants were well attended and it made for a very relaxing week. TC took us to all the Mose beautiful places around the island. Well what a magical week we have had on board Shangri La! We have done our fair share of bareboating and cruising and truly cannot remember a better experience. We got to do all the things we love – sailing, snorkeling, fishing and even got to experience the most incredible sunrise of my life. The Crew, Capt TC and Chef Julia were fabulous, very friendly and welcoming. Both of them were very knowledgeable in their areas. We had an issue with the generator and it was handled well. The crew quickly devised an alternate plan to keep us entertained during the repair. I felt the the quality of the accommodations and food were wonderful. The Shangri La is beautiful and very comfortable and Julia’s food and presentation were fabulous. Both Capt TC and Chef Julia were very professional, but also very approachable and friendly. I felt very comfortable and confident with both of them. Since I was lucky enough to be a guest on the cruise I can not comment on the value of the cost of the trip. I do feel very lucky to have been included in Cathy’s birthday celebration though 😁. I don’t think I can say enough about Chef Julia’s cuisine. It was not only delicious, but absolutely beautifully presented. She worked tirelessly and everything she did was wonderful. Coming from the snowy Midwest it would not take much of a change of climate to make me happy, but the beautiful Virgin Islands never fail to impress with it’s beauty. I think everyone was happy with the water sport options on the boat. Snorkeling was very popular. The floating pad was used and the paddle board was tried. Overall it was a great experience.
TC and Julia really helped make the trip very enjoyable. They both worked so hard, but were so friendly and attentive to all of our desires and needs. I can’t think of one most memorable highlight. The entire trip was such a gift. TC was so entertaining and yet very in tune with his duties on the boat. He handled the day to day running of it with knowledge and handled the problems without causing any stress to us who did know know about the workings of a boat. Julia is just wonderful. She is an artist in the kitchen, but also helped with the boat without missing a beat. Both of them worked constantly to make us have a fabulous trip. They are both great assets to your company.
One other note. We caused a delay to the start of the trip. Because of an airline delay, we missed our connection to St Thomas. This meant that we could not get there until the next day. Capt TC and Julia altered their planned schedule to allow for our delay and still entertained the group that had arrived on time. We appreciated their efforts and their ability to switch up their plans to allow for the change.

I guess my whole family is going to take up this book now and I already wrote one for the family, but decided I needed to write one from just me too. As a busy college student who stares at her computer all day and night as a computer science student, I never really get the chance to unplug. I don’t think I’ve ever read as much as I have this week, and it’s been amazing. I really do love to read, and I just never have the time. Three books in one week is a new record! This little poem sums it up - We all really appreciated the time on Shangri La tp “just be.” I think we didn’t even realize how everyday life crowds out time to sit and think, and watch and observe nature. The sky, the sea and each other. Being able to do all of that while being completely spoiled and taken care of by TC and Julia was truly special and made it an experience we won’t forget. TC immediately made us feel welcome as did Julia (except for on the mat) :-) They both let us know what the basic daily structure would be and other than that, let everyone to choose how to spend their time. The family could all relax and give it up to the expertise all around in captaining the boat, and in offering us one delicious meal or snack after the next. The trip was great. And the crew (TC & Z) were absolutely amazing. TC really knew his stuff, about the islands, sailing, and the boat, and was super focused on ensuring we were enjoying ourselves! Z's cooking was amazing - she really did a great job exceeding expectations and surprising us with meals everyday, which is not easy given the closed quarters. and they really made us feel comfortable aboard the ship. I would 1 million % charter with this crew again - they were awesome. The boat itself was very clean and did not "feel" 4 years old.

My family and I just spent a great week with TC and Suzanne on Let’s Play Two. In my business, we always hear the complaints, reasonable and unreasonable, but rarely the compliments. It’s always good to find areas for improvement but I also like to know who’s doing a great job. Those people are the lifeblood of our company and they aren’t easy to replace.
Both Suzanne and Terry were fantastic. Boating can look easy but it’s not. They made it seem effortless. Their relaxed demeanor just made everything better but I could tell that no detail was overlooked. My wife has a food allergy, but Suzanne had no trouble working around it. I’ve had great meals in great restaurants but her food was consistently as good and usually better, pretty amazing on a boat.
I think you have something pretty special with those two. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again soon.

With this being our first charter, we had high expectations. After planning for months, we
hoped that we had not an unachievable bar for excellence. We couldn’t be more happy to say
that our week on Let’s Play Two was way better than we imagined! Not only were TC &
Suzanne first-class hosts, the quality and presentation of the food reflected that of a 5-star
restaurant. Our itinerary suited us perfectly, and the steps that were taken to ensure our
comfort were appreciated. We are now heading back to Detroit where we will soon begin

This was our long awaited trip due to cover and it was certainly wort the wait! The boat
was pristine the entire trip. The sailing was amazing and every snorkel spot was better than the
last. Amanda’s food was over the top. Special desserts were loved by all, especially the kids.
They will miss the milkshakes, Shirley temples (Graham), and the treats each night on their
beds. Graham can’t thank you enough for going the extra mile for the fishing rod. We will
treasure our special shells from Brewers. So many fun activities. . . paddle boards, wake board,
party mat, endless stories, history, and great recommendations on lunch spots. Any family
would be lucky to have this amazing experience with you all on this gorgeous boat. This is truly
a trip we will never forget with memories to treasure for a lifetime. We hope one day to sail
again with you and hear Captain Keith say “The Pool is Open” and Chef Amanda says “Bon
Appetite.”

Wow! What an amazing trip we had aboard Shangri La! My wife Carolyn semi-surprised
me with this adventure on my 60th birthday with our three boys John, Chris, and Sam. We
sailed, explored the islands, swam, snorkeled, sub-winged but mostly we ate and were treated
like Kings and Queens! Never before have we been spoiled like this. Chef Amanda’s cooking
was to die for. Every meal and every detail was not only delicious, but it was presented with
grace and style. Plus, a warm and friendly smile!
Captain Keith’s hospitality, local knowledge, and expert seamanship was exceptional.
The boat was kept spotless and ran like a top. Keith’s mixology skills weren’t too shabby either.
Both he and Amanda kept us well hydrated to say the least.
Thank you both for a wonderful vacation. We had a few days away that we will never
forget and I’m sure we’ll be back again to visit this little piece of paradise.

Our first family boat trip and Wow, it blew away any expectation. Captain Keith and Chef Amanda are incredible. With a vegan and one picky eater, they made sure every meal was catered to each person’s liking. The food is 5 star! Mahi mahi, pad Thai, Caribbean chicken salad and desserts that never stopped! Plenty of activities and Capt. Keith always happy to do anything at any time. He picks the perfect locations and ensures everyone is happy! Daily drinks (especially the painkillers) and afternoon snacks were a hit. Always refreshing and very tasty! Capt. Keith and Amanda never stop moving, never stop caring for our experience. They are the ultimate hosts! Always building interesting conversation and full of local information. We could not have asked for a better family trip and assure you we will be back! and Amanda are extremely attentive and intuitive to guests. The boat reminded me of being on
a Disney Cruise because of the constant cleaning they do! They keep the boat very organized

Unforgettable experience because the crew (Art & Shawna) made it magical. We can't pick one but all of the stops were fantastic. The onboard experience was 5 stars... The meals, the boat decor, Art & Shawna's personality and their attention to detail made the trip exceptional.
From the moment we met Art & Shawna on the video call we knew we were in good hands and would get along. They bring a 5-star hotel experience to the water. Art was flexible and confident in navigating us to the best spots. Shawna is an excellent chef and her relationship with Art makes the trip seamless and stress free.
Shangri La is a beautiful boat and the crew really make it exceptional.

The trip was a dream! We loved everything about it and every moment. Captain Arthur and Shawna are fabulous hosts - kind, warm, welcoming. Shangri La is a beautiful and super comfortable boat. Every meal was amazing, delicious and beautifully presented. We were in awe of what Shawna and Captain Arthur created in the boats kitchen!
We had so much fun on our five day trip - karaoke night, lots of sun and swimming. We went to White Bay, Bitter End, Long Bay, Mahoe Bay, and the Great Harbour - all fantastic! But our favourite was Jost Van Dyke - loved Soggy Dollar and Foxy's!
We could not have asked for more. Thank you so much Captain Art & Shawna for making my birthday and anniversary celebration so perfect - we will be back!
April 2026 - Friendships Have Been Created on This Beautiful Trip with Unforgettable Memories
This was truly a special experience for our first time on a charter vacation in the BVI. The dynamic duo, Captain Arthur & Shawna exceeded all of our dream expectations from the welcome to all of our stops and delicious meals.
Leverick Bay with Michael Beans show to Soggy Dollar at Jost Van Dyke and swimming in the beautiful Caribbean water was amazing!! A special evening of karaoke where Captain Arthur shared his hidden talent with us kicked off a memorable evening. Chef Shawna outdid herself with a great triple unforgettable celebration from birthdays to a 40th wedding anniversary.

We were amazingly well looked after and really pampered. We learned so much from such an entrepreneurial couple who really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Thank you for showing us such an unbelievable time in our first visit to these majestic islands. Your hospitality was over the top and allowed us to relax and unwind quickly. The meals were spot on and catered to our family’s likes so well. We never went hungry yet always waited for the next feeding time with anticipation! Of particular note were the crab bites, banana bread, shrimp pasta, s’mores pie and can’t forget the looney Leprechauns. We prioritize experiences for our family and seek out adventure as a way to teach our kids about the world, other cultures, and ways of life. This week met all of those criteria and we thank you for taking the time to teach, explain, and tell your stories. It was impactful for the kids to observe the simpler life and gain a healthy respect for the seas! And it in fact inspired Jake to come down and become a Christmas Cove Pizza delivery guy! We had a lovely time aboard Shangri La. It was a the perfect getaway from the January weather. The staff were friendly and attentive while being able to read when privacy was wanted. We always felt safe and comfortable. All of the meals were amazing. We are excited to try to recreate those delicious desserts. The Shangri La is a beautiful, pristine boat. Our time aboard was relaxing and time to spend with friends. The sunsets and rainbows were beautiful. The hiking trails on St. John Island provide nice vistas of the landscape and up close encounters of the wildlife. The snorkeling and paddle boarding in the beautiful waters is amazing! The meals prepared by chef Julia were amazing! Capt. TC and Chef Julia were very attentive during our stay on the Shangri La. Sailing is definitely the way to experience these beautiful Islands!

Our 3 day trip on Shangri La was wonderful. We had nice weather, pretty sunsets, sea turtle sightings, fun boat rides and we even traveled with the sails up once. Julia is an amazing chef - awesome meals and desserts. - certainly 5-star! TC knows the history of the islands and has a great sense of humor. They both have so much experience - this boat runs like a well oiled machine. TC and Julia wait on you hand and foot and will do anything they can to make your trip more enjoyable. Bless her heart, even made me different meat options with dinners. We had a fabulous time. I’ll highly recommend TC & Julia to our friends. Best of luck!

Happy New Year! Much love from the Kirkland Family. It is truly difficult to even put into words how absolutely incredible this week has been! TC & Julia are the BEST. Y’all came up with a perfect itinerary for us novices and managed to skirt the weather and crowds perfectly so that we felt just enough away from the riff riff while join gin in a tiny bit! Let’s see…Julia’s painkillers were by far the best, but we did enjoy sampling all the ones at Soggy Dollar, Gertrude’s, One Love, Bitter End, Foxy’s and the Willy T! Our little jaunt to Bubbly Pool and the new Jost Van Dyke signage was really cute…New Year at Bitter End, followed by Cooper Island and Norman Island all bookended by Christmas Cove. Snorkeling was incredible, especially the Indians - Wow! Actually, really sailing to St. John was fabulous. Millie and I loved going over every meal including happy hours and desserts. I am sorry none of us but me could finish it all but Julia - truly, your cooking is the best I’ve ever had. All of it! The two of you spoiled us rotten, I’ve not spent a week this pampered in my whole life, and we - well I - needed it. I cannot wait to come backhand let y’all just take us to your favorite spots. Lastly, from me, this week would NOT have been as special with anyone else but the two of y’all. We love you both and know our home in Nashville is open to y’all anytime!

From the moment we stepped on the boat, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We really won the lottery with TC and Julia! All our needs and wants were well attended and it made for a very relaxing week. TC took us to all the Mose beautiful places around the island. Well what a magical week we have had on board Shangri La! We have done our fair share of bareboating and cruising and truly cannot remember a better experience. We got to do all the things we love – sailing, snorkeling, fishing and even got to experience the most incredible sunrise of my life. The food was delicious, fresh, well prepared, homemade seasonings and nerves and made with love by our chef Julia. TC was the consummate host - attentive, warm focused on providing a perfect day! The Crew, Capt TC and Chef Julia were fabulous, very friendly and welcoming. Both of them were very knowledgeable in their areas. We had an issue with the generator and it was handled well. The crew quickly devised an alternate plan to keep us entertained during the repair. I felt the the quality of the accommodations and food were wonderful. The Shangri La is beautiful and very comfortable and Julia’s food and presentation were fabulous. Both Capt TC and Chef Julia were very professional, but also very approachable and friendly. I felt very comfortable and confident with both of them. Since I was lucky enough to be a guest on the cruise I can not comment on the value of the cost of the trip. I do feel very lucky to have been included in Cathy’s birthday celebration though 😁. I don’t think I can say enough about Chef Julia’s cuisine. It was not only delicious, but absolutely beautifully presented. She worked tirelessly and everything she did was wonderful. Coming from the snowy Midwest it would not take much of a change of climate to make me happy, but the beautiful Virgin Islands never fail to impress with it’s beauty. I think everyone was happy with the water sport options on the boat. Snorkeling was very popular. The floating pad was used and the paddle board was tried. Overall it was a great experience.
TC and Julia really helped make the trip very enjoyable. They both worked so hard, but were so friendly and attentive to all of our desires and needs. I can’t think of one most memorable highlight. The entire trip was such a gift. TC was so entertaining and yet very in tune with his duties on the boat. He handled the day to day running of it with knowledge and handled the problems without causing any stress to us who did know know about the workings of a boat. Julia is just wonderful. She is an artist in the kitchen, but also helped with the boat without missing a beat. Both of them worked constantly to make us have a fabulous trip. They are both great assets to your company.
One other note. We caused a delay to the start of the trip. Because of an airline delay, we missed our connection to St Thomas. This meant that we could not get there until the next day. Capt TC and Julia altered their planned schedule to allow for our delay and still entertained the group that had arrived on time. We appreciated their efforts and their ability to switch up their plans to allow for the change.

I guess my whole family is going to take up this book now and I already wrote one for the family, but decided I needed to write one from just me too. As a busy college student who stares at her computer all day and night as a computer science student, I never really get the chance to unplug. I don’t think I’ve ever read as much as I have this week, and it’s been amazing. I really do love to read, and I just never have the time. Three books in one week is a new record! This little poem sums it up - We all really appreciated the time on Shangri La tp “just be.” I think we didn’t even realize how everyday life crowds out time to sit and think, and watch and observe nature. The sky, the sea and each other. Being able to do all of that while being completely spoiled and taken care of by TC and Julia was truly special and made it an experience we won’t forget. TC immediately made us feel welcome as did Julia (except for on the mat) :-) They both let us know what the basic daily structure would be and other than that, let everyone to choose how to spend their time. The family could all relax and give it up to the expertise all around in captaining the boat, and in offering us one delicious meal or snack after the next. The trip was great. And the crew (TC & Z) were absolutely amazing. TC really knew his stuff, about the islands, sailing, and the boat, and was super focused on ensuring we were enjoying ourselves! Z's cooking was amazing - she really did a great job exceeding expectations and surprising us with meals everyday, which is not easy given the closed quarters. and they really made us feel comfortable aboard the ship. I would 1 million % charter with this crew again - they were awesome. The boat itself was very clean and did not "feel" 4 years old.

My family and I just spent a great week with TC and Suzanne on Let’s Play Two. In my business, we always hear the complaints, reasonable and unreasonable, but rarely the compliments. It’s always good to find areas for improvement but I also like to know who’s doing a great job. Those people are the lifeblood of our company and they aren’t easy to replace.
Both Suzanne and Terry were fantastic. Boating can look easy but it’s not. They made it seem effortless. Their relaxed demeanor just made everything better but I could tell that no detail was overlooked. My wife has a food allergy, but Suzanne had no trouble working around it. I’ve had great meals in great restaurants but her food was consistently as good and usually better, pretty amazing on a boat.
I think you have something pretty special with those two. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again soon.

This was our long awaited trip due to cover and it was certainly wort the wait! The boat
was pristine the entire trip. The sailing was amazing and every snorkel spot was better than the
last. Amanda’s food was over the top. Special desserts were loved by all, especially the kids.
They will miss the milkshakes, Shirley temples (Graham), and the treats each night on their
beds. Graham can’t thank you enough for going the extra mile for the fishing rod. We will
treasure our special shells from Brewers. So many fun activities. . . paddle boards, wake board,
party mat, endless stories, history, and great recommendations on lunch spots. Any family
would be lucky to have this amazing experience with you all on this gorgeous boat. This is truly

Captain Keith’s hospitality, local knowledge, and expert seamanship was exceptional.
The boat was kept spotless and ran like a top. Keith’s mixology skills weren’t too shabby either.
Both he and Amanda kept us well hydrated to say the least.

a lifetime experience. So much more than a trip or a vacation. Whether it be fabulous
accommodations (boat - Shangri La itself), the breath taking water and National Park setting, or

mentally and emotionally uplifting experience.

Our first family boat trip and Wow, it blew away any expectation. Captain Keith and Chef Amanda are incredible. With a vegan and one picky eater, they made sure every meal was catered to each person’s liking. The food is 5 star! Mahi mahi, pad Thai, Caribbean chicken salad and desserts that never stopped! Plenty of activities and Capt. Keith always happy to do anything at any time. He picks the perfect locations and ensures everyone is happy! Daily drinks (especially the painkillers) and afternoon snacks were a hit. Always refreshing and very tasty! Capt. Keith and Amanda never stop moving, never stop caring for our experience. They are the ultimate hosts! Always building interesting conversation and full of local information. We could not have asked for a better family trip and assure you we will be back! Thank you thank you for the wonderful memories we will forever cherish!

I have decided to call our experience on Shangri La “The Ritz Carlton” of charter boats! Keith
and Amanda are extremely attentive and intuitive to guests. The boat reminded me of being on
a Disney Cruise because of the constant cleaning they do! They keep the boat very organized
and do all the tidying up for you. We will have very special memories from the trip and thank
Keith and Amanda for their kind hospitality!

Just finished an amazing breakfast of eggs, bacon swirls, grits, French toast, and mom’s.
Listening to Jerry Jeff Walker. . . trying to extend our trip as long as possible before we start

We had the most amazing trip. So many memories. The most amazing scenery. Celebrating
two milestone birthdays. Incredible food and drink, but the most memorable part of our journey
