Captain
we will have life long memories of the best vacation ever!
What a trip! My family has never chartered a sailboat before but it was always a dream of ours to. So going into this blind we set sail with a crew of strangers. Steph and Ana were amazing. From the orientation they gave upon setting foot on the boat, they made us feel comfortable, safe and informed. Steph ran a tight ship! He is a very capable captain and had planned out a figure 8 around St. Thomas and St. Johns. He catered to our eagerness to truly escape civilization and explore out of the way beaches that made us feel like the only family on earth. He filtered in just the right amount of civilization to show us some really cool experiences when traveling on the water. Steph spent a lot of time answering so many questions about how to sail and he never showed any signs of annoyance and even seemed eager to share his wealth of sailing knowledge.
Ana is an incredibly talented chef. She took our desire to experience new and exciting fresh Mediterranean cuisine to a whole new level. Every meal was not only incredibly flavorful but the presentation was beautiful and flawless. Each meal was an adventure and even our 11 year old picky eater devoured every plate! Each meal was served at just the right time and she accommodated our daily schedules with ease. We will always remember the exciting dishes and flavors that she introduced us to.
Both Steph and Ana were respectful of our family time when on the boat in the evenings anchored down. However, we meshed with them so well that every evening we sat at the dinner table and played games with the family and crew together. They were so relaxed and personable and really enhanced our adventure experience. Thanks to them we will have life long memories of the best vacation ever!
