With over 18 years of professional experience, Kubilay has worked extensively on both motor and sailing yachts up to 45 meters, with a strong focus on charter operations. His background spans multiple regions around the world, giving him a deep understanding of diverse cruising areas and guest expectations. Before yachting, Kubilay held management roles in the hospitality and hotel industry, which continue to inform his approach to guest service and team coordination.
Beyond his deck responsibilities, he has a passion for guiding culinary experiences, crew training, and team development. Kubilay is also actively involved in social projects and environmental initiatives, particularly those focused on sustainable living and regenerative design. He believes in progress through purpose — striving to make each day more meaningful and impactful than the last.
We recently rented Spark III for a family holiday and I'd like to say that we had the most extraordinary week on the water. The boat was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and well-equipped in every way; the comfort of the boat was superb.
We truly had an outstanding crew! Kubi and Irem were exceptionally professional, warm, and wonderful with our children, making the whole experience truly magical for the entire family. They were always so pleasant and ensured we were really taken care of throughout the trip. We enjoyed the great meals Irem prepared, which added so much to our stay. Kubi's knowledge of the waters and his ability to chart out amazing spots we never would have discovered on our own made the journey unforgettable.
It's definitely a memory we will cherish for a very long time.

- Separate bathroom and living quarters for crew
- Reputable and licensed crew who have local knowledge of waters and are able to adjust menus based on guest’s preferences and dietary restrictions
- Operating expenses including: use of air conditioning, fuel, water, sailing permits/taxes, local taxes and crew wages
What Is Not Included in Standard All-Inclusive Charters:
- Gratuity for crew. Gratuity is at guest discretion and is typically between 15-20%
