Meet the crew onboard for the 2023/24 season!
Captain Juan: From an early age, my love for the sea was ignited under the guidance of my grandfather. This passion led me to obtain my skipper's license in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have since embarked on numerous sailing adventures, including cruising with my family from Argentina to Uruguay, exploring several ports. I have also captained catamarans in the Caribbean and Latin America, including the breathtaking BVI and the stunning Angra dos Reis. My connection to the water extends beyond sailing; I have a deep-rooted passion for kitesurfing, which has allowed me to explore the world while pursuing my love for the sport. Furthermore, I am an avid diver and freediver, always seeking to immerse myself in the wonders beneath the waves.
In terms of my educational background, I hold a degree in industrial engineering and have successfully completed an MBA in Buenos Aires. These qualifications have equipped me with a strong foundation in management and leadership, which I believe are crucial for a successful captain. However, it is our shared passion for the sea and our desire for a unique experience that has driven both Rochi, my wife, and me to embark on this exciting path as the captain and crew of a catamaran in the BVI. We are both easy-going individuals who love to connect with people, ensuring that our clients have the most memorable and enjoyable time on board.
Chef Rosario: Sailing has been a part of my life since childhood. For 20 years, I spent every summer exploring the ports of Uruguay aboard a boat with my family. I know every shore of that country. My love for the sea led me to compete in various sailing classes, starting from Optimist and Cadet, and eventually enjoying kitesurfing alongside my husband, Juan. We love combining our travels with the exhilarating practice of this sport. In addition to sailing, my passion for cooking has always been a constant in my life. From a young age, I assisted my mother in the kitchen, and I have honed my culinary skills through courses and by exploring new recipes and flavors. I take great pleasure in surprising and delighting people with my gastronomic creations.
My academic background in architecture has provided me with a unique perspective on design and functionality, which also translates into my approach to cooking. I enjoy creating visually appealing dishes that simultaneously stimulate all the senses of those who partake in them. Living aboard a catamaran in the Caribbean has always been my dream. Having the opportunity to live that experience and share it with people from different nationalities, providing them with the best possible experience, would greatly enrich my life. Over time, his connection to the water expanded beyond sailing, as he delved into activities like snorkeling, freediving, and scuba diving. But it was the discovery of kitesurfing that ignited a new passion, leading him to explore kitesurfing hotspots around the world. Together, we have traveled to Brazil, the BVI, Miami, Venezuela, and the Bahamas, chasing the thrill of kitesurfing and reveling in the freedom it brings the water!

This will forever be our favorite family trip! You both made this such a special and unique adventure for us, and we can't imagine anything ever beating this. Rochi, your cooking was really some of the best we've ever had! Every single thing you made for us (including your Painkillers and banana drinks) was incredible! Cameron is our "picky" eater, and the fact that she not only ate everything you made but still says your food was her favorite part of the week says so much!
Juan, your attentiveness to our children was truly special. They had such a blast, multiple times a day, with all of the water activities! Snorkeling, the Seabob, tubing, e-foiling, paddleboarding... never a dull moment for anyone! You sparked a big interest in boats for Colin, and we appreciate how much time you gave him to test out his captain skills. You also created the perfect route for sailing and daily agendas that were not only adventure-filled but always left time for relaxing and just enjoying the serene life of being on the water with the most magical scenery.
You both were the perfect team, with such calm and peaceful demeanors, yet kept everything so organized and fun. We cannot thank you enough for giving us the most incredible experience that we will surely do again soon! And hopefully it’s with you! We will miss you guys and remember you always.

Rochi's meals were excellent - wow. We were so spoiled. Every single thing - breakfasts, snacks, the snack box, lunches, happy hours, dinners, desserts, drinks, and our big birthday celebration - was complete with decorations and homemade key lime pie.
Captain Juan's skills (and patience) navigating us to all the destinations we wanted to visit in the BVIs were greatly appreciated. You constantly helped us with the paddleboards, Seabob, and dinghy trips. And did we mention taking John out kiteboarding and foiling? Thank you! You created an atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and gracious hospitality. We enjoyed the water sports - Seabobs, paddleboarding, snorkeling, foiling... and the fun shore excursions to see many gorgeous beaches and islands. Highlights for us were Saba Rock, BEYC, Eustacia, Swan Bay, and Soggy Dollar Bar, just to name a few! The delicious and beautifully presented meals were a work of art! Your attention to detail was evident in everything, including the care you showed when Barce broke his toe - retrieving ice and anti-inflammatories right away, making sure he was comfortable and well taken care of.
We felt truly looked after. The daily happy hour treats, appetizers, and cocktails were a lovely transition from our sun-drenched days to beautiful sunsets and stargazing. Your gracious hospitality allowed us to relax, unwind, and thoughtfully immerse ourselves in the joy and beauty of our surroundings. Rochi, your cooking is amazing, especially with Wendy's dietary restrictions. The pressure is on for Scott! Every meal was followed by "This isn't how Rochi would've made it!" The Key lime birthday cake you made for Kim was so very delicious! 🍰
Rochi and Juan made a 50th birthday celebration and a surprise wedding engagement 💍👰♀️ better than we could have ever imagined. Your quick thinking to get everyone on the beach with champagne and the pizza in hand before the engagement and sunset was priceless. You are amazing people, and we truly consider you friends after "putting up with all of us this week!"
We truly hope you enjoyed spending this week with us as much as we did with the two of you. You are "stuck" with us in the future as we plan to do this trip annually!!! We could never imagine being on another boat without you...

You made all of our wishes come true - beautiful, absolutely delicious and healthy meals plus every opportunity to be in the water. From multiple foiling sessions with Juan’s tips & encouragement, to snorkeling with rays & turtles, paddle boarding, zipping around on the sea bob, & tubing - we truly enjoyed ourselves!
Your thoughtful selection of harbors (some we hadn’t been to before) set such a nicely relaxed pace giving us plenty of time to read, rest, draw & play card games (Thanks for joining and beating us in 21!). Another thing we really enjoyed was your teamwork as a professional couple; it elevated this charter to another level *(our best yet!)* and will certainly serve you both so well in your future together. We had an amazing time with you on Andiamo.

This was our first family sailing cruise and we loved it!
It’s nearly Christmas Eve, but we got our gift early this year by being on Andiamo and spending time with Juan & Rochi. in the beautiful BVI’s. This was our first family sailing cruise and we loved it! The boat was great in all respects, very comfortable with a great layout for both family/gathering and private times.
Juan & Rochi are awesome. We picked Andiamo based on their partnership and menu/cooking talents and they were simply both fantastic. They both give 5 stars service and attention to everything they do. Juan enjoyed taking us snorkeling, and using the dinghy to wakeboard with our kids. We would still be “lost” in The Baths without him! Rochi prepared countless appetizers, desserts, and snacks with care and creativity - it’s amazing what she & Juan can do in such a limited kitchen! Juan is a great bartender and we’d been busy at all hours - he even made tomato juice from scratch! Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
Juan & Rochi are simply kind, smart, and wonderful people; they are curious, engaging, warm and symbiotic with one another. We love them and hope to see them again on Andiamo, or host them on their future trips to the U.S.

Warm welcome, above average, comfortable surroundings, impeccable attention to detail, five star service, this was the level of service we received from our our adorable Captain and first mate mate, Juan + Rochi.... We sailed off on our adventure with our dear friends John and Lynn for a 2-week Catamaran adventure on Andiamo.
We found the boat and cabins to be spotless, every day, when we returned from our adventures, we would find our cabins freshly cleaned with little extra touches. We specially loved the daily quotes we would find on our bed.
We found our personalized sailing charter to be above and beyond in meeting all our needs! Juan and Rochi’s kindness has no boundaries. Every day was a new adventure, Juan would start every morning with a story time for what could expect for the day, while Rochi served one of her over the top breakfast, followed up with a light lunch and the evening was topped off with a gourmet diner. Rochi is an amazing chef! Rob especially enjoyed cooking lessons.
Juan surpassed all of our expectations with tailored water adventures, including sailing lessons, boat operational tour, guided water fun with all the toys, planning hikes, arranging car rentals, including following up to make sure we were well taken care of and including getting his captain discounts. All the while, always ensuring our safety and his first priority.
Both Juan and Rochi never stopped to ensure our days were organized, jumping in to make boat repairs, always cleaning, polishing, making sure we had everything we needed, including trips to shore for that extra ingredient that was needed to guarantee a prefect meal.
Thank you Juan and Rochi for all your tireless efforts all the laughs and all the little extras that made our trip so special.

Oh my goodness, I have so much wonderful feedback about our trip. Juan and Rochi were fantastic! I would recommend them and the boat to anyone looking! We all loved them, and had a magnificent time. The food was delicious- truly thoughtful, intentional meals- all with fresh ingredients and tasty seasonings. They were very attentive in every way, not the least of which was having tasty cocktails and wine offered up at all the right times.
The itinerary they suggested was perfect for our family, and gave us the opportunity to see many beautiful settings. The kids loved the SeaBob and we all really enjoyed snorkeling. Juan accommodated the kids' every wish to wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing. He was also so kind to teach our youngest son about the fishing gear as they cast a line on our way to St. Barth’s. And Rochi could not have been more kind and doting on all of us- she even let our 9 year old daughter help her make delicious chocolate mouse for one of our deserts!
Finally, the boat was beautiful and immaculate. Juan and Rochi kept all of the spaces very clean and organized. All of our wants and needs were taken care of perfectly and we had the most wonderful trip! We would recommend Andiamo, Juan, and Rochi to anyone looking for a fantastic charter experience.

Meet the crew onboard for the 2023/24 season!
Captain Juan: From an early age, my love for the sea was ignited under the guidance of my grandfather. This passion led me to obtain my skipper's license in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have since embarked on numerous sailing adventures, including cruising with my family from Argentina to Uruguay, exploring several ports. I have also captained catamarans in the Caribbean and Latin America, including the breathtaking BVI and the stunning Angra dos Reis. My connection to the water extends beyond sailing; I have a deep-rooted passion for kitesurfing, which has allowed me to explore the world while pursuing my love for the sport. Furthermore, I am an avid diver and freediver, always seeking to immerse myself in the wonders beneath the waves.
In terms of my educational background, I hold a degree in industrial engineering and have successfully completed an MBA in Buenos Aires. These qualifications have equipped me with a strong foundation in management and leadership, which I believe are crucial for a successful captain. However, it is our shared passion for the sea and our desire for a unique experience that has driven both Rochi, my wife, and me to embark on this exciting path as the captain and crew of a catamaran in the BVI. We are both easy-going individuals who love to connect with people, ensuring that our clients have the most memorable and enjoyable time on board.
Chef Rosario: Sailing has been a part of my life since childhood. For 20 years, I spent every summer exploring the ports of Uruguay aboard a boat with my family. I know every shore of that country. My love for the sea led me to compete in various sailing classes, starting from Optimist and Cadet, and eventually enjoying kitesurfing alongside my husband, Juan. We love combining our travels with the exhilarating practice of this sport. In addition to sailing, my passion for cooking has always been a constant in my life. From a young age, I assisted my mother in the kitchen, and I have honed my culinary skills through courses and by exploring new recipes and flavors. I take great pleasure in surprising and delighting people with my gastronomic creations.
My academic background in architecture has provided me with a unique perspective on design and functionality, which also translates into my approach to cooking. I enjoy creating visually appealing dishes that simultaneously stimulate all the senses of those who partake in them. Living aboard a catamaran in the Caribbean has always been my dream. Having the opportunity to live that experience and share it with people from different nationalities, providing them with the best possible experience, would greatly enrich my life. I am thrilled at the prospect of creating unforgettable moments for travelers, exploring the beautiful British Virgin Islands, and offering them an exceptional culinary experience that complements their maritime adventure.

We crossed paths in 2016, and little did we know that our shared love for sailing would become one of the foundations of our relationship. As we started dating, we embarked on our first cruises, and it didn't take long before we began planning our vacations around our mutual love for sailing. After marrying our honeymoon in the Bahamas included our kitesurfing gear, and we even enjoyed memorable vacations on a catamaran in Brazil. It's safe to say that water has been an integral part of our journey together. Over time, his connection to the water expanded beyond sailing, as he delved into activities like snorkeling, freediving, and scuba diving. But it was the discovery of kitesurfing that ignited a new passion, leading him to explore kitesurfing hotspots around the world. Together, we have traveled to Brazil, the BVI, Miami, Venezuela, and the Bahamas, chasing the thrill of kitesurfing and reveling in the freedom it brings the water!

This will forever be our favorite family trip! You both made this such a special and unique adventure for us, and we can't imagine anything ever beating this. Rochi, your cooking was really some of the best we've ever had! Every single thing you made for us (including your Painkillers and banana drinks) was incredible! Cameron is our "picky" eater, and the fact that she not only ate everything you made but still says your food was her favorite part of the week says so much!
Juan, your attentiveness to our children was truly special. They had such a blast, multiple times a day, with all of the water activities! Snorkeling, the Seabob, tubing, e-foiling, paddleboarding... never a dull moment for anyone! You sparked a big interest in boats for Colin, and we appreciate how much time you gave him to test out his captain skills. You also created the perfect route for sailing and daily agendas that were not only adventure-filled but always left time for relaxing and just enjoying the serene life of being on the water with the most magical scenery.
You both were the perfect team, with such calm and peaceful demeanors, yet kept everything so organized and fun. We cannot thank you enough for giving us the most incredible experience that we will surely do again soon! And hopefully it’s with you! We will miss you guys and remember you always.

Captain Juan's skills (and patience) navigating us to all the destinations we wanted to visit in the BVIs were greatly appreciated. You created an atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and gracious hospitality. We enjoyed the water sports - Seabobs, paddleboarding, snorkeling, foiling... and the fun shore excursions to see many gorgeous beaches and islands. Highlights for us were Saba Rock, BEYC, Eustacia, Swan Bay, and Soggy Dollar Bar, just to name a few! The delicious and beautifully presented meals were a work of art! Your attention to detail was evident in everything, including the care you showed when Barce broke his toe - retrieving ice and anti-inflammatories right away, making sure he was comfortable and well taken care of.
We felt truly looked after. The daily happy hour treats, appetizers, and cocktails were a lovely transition from our sun-drenched days to beautiful sunsets and stargazing. Your gracious hospitality allowed us to relax, unwind, and thoughtfully immerse ourselves in the joy and beauty of our surroundings. We will treasure our memories of this magical time forever and are so thankful for everything you did to make our trip so magical and extraordinary! Tienen tu casa en Seattle! This was our first family sailing cruise and we loved it!
It’s nearly Christmas Eve, but we got our gift early this year by being on Andiamo and spending time with Juan & Rochi. in the beautiful BVI’s. This was our first family sailing cruise and we loved it! The boat was great in all respects, very comfortable with a great layout for both family/gathering and private times.
Juan & Rochi are awesome. We picked Andiamo based on their partnership and menu/cooking talents and they were simply both fantastic. They both give 5 stars service and attention to everything they do. Juan enjoyed taking us snorkeling, and using the dinghy to wakeboard with our kids. We would still be “lost” in The Baths without him! Rochi prepared countless appetizers, desserts, and snacks with care and creativity - it’s amazing what she & Juan can do in such a limited kitchen! Juan is a great bartender and we’d been busy at all hours - he even made tomato juice from scratch! Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
Juan & Rochi are simply kind, smart, and wonderful people; they are curious, engaging, warm and symbiotic with one another. We love them and hope to see them again on Andiamo, or host them on their future trips to the U.S.

Warm welcome, above average, comfortable surroundings, impeccable attention to detail, five star service, this was the level of service we received from our our adorable Captain and first mate mate, Juan + Rochi.... We sailed off on our adventure with our dear friends John and Lynn for a 2-week Catamaran adventure on Andiamo.
We found the boat and cabins to be spotless, every day, when we returned from our adventures, we would find our cabins freshly cleaned with little extra touches. We specially loved the daily quotes we would find on our bed.
We found our personalized sailing charter to be above and beyond in meeting all our needs! Juan and Rochi’s kindness has no boundaries. Every day was a new adventure, Juan would start every morning with a story time for what could expect for the day, while Rochi served one of her over the top breakfast, followed up with a light lunch and the evening was topped off with a gourmet diner. Rochi is an amazing chef! Rob especially enjoyed cooking lessons.
Juan surpassed all of our expectations with tailored water adventures, including sailing lessons, boat operational tour, guided water fun with all the toys, planning hikes, arranging car rentals, including following up to make sure we were well taken care of and including getting his captain discounts. All the while, always ensuring our safety and his first priority.
Both Juan and Rochi never stopped to ensure our days were organized, jumping in to make boat repairs, always cleaning, polishing, making sure we had everything we needed, including trips to shore for that extra ingredient that was needed to guarantee a prefect meal.
Thank you Juan and Rochi for all your tireless efforts all the laughs and all the little extras that made our trip so special.

Oh my goodness, I have so much wonderful feedback about our trip. Juan and Rochi were fantastic! I would recommend them and the boat to anyone looking! We all loved them, and had a magnificent time. The food was delicious- truly thoughtful, intentional meals- all with fresh ingredients and tasty seasonings. They were very attentive in every way, not the least of which was having tasty cocktails and wine offered up at all the right times.
The itinerary they suggested was perfect for our family, and gave us the opportunity to see many beautiful settings. The kids loved the SeaBob and we all really enjoyed snorkeling. Juan accommodated the kids' every wish to wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing. He was also so kind to teach our youngest son about the fishing gear as they cast a line on our way to St. Barth’s. And Rochi could not have been more kind and doting on all of us- she even let our 9 year old daughter help her make delicious chocolate mouse for one of our deserts!
Finally, the boat was beautiful and immaculate. Juan and Rochi kept all of the spaces very clean and organized. All of our wants and needs were taken care of perfectly and we had the most wonderful trip! We would recommend Andiamo, Juan, and Rochi to anyone looking for a fantastic charter experience.
