What makes a good boat A GREAT BOAT? By now everyone should know…..the answer is CREW of course! Island Hoppin’ , a 2018 Lagoon 52F is no different. Since the Lagoon 52F is one of the most chartered catamarans in the world, it can start to get confusing as to which one to choose to charter. Island Hoppin’ has been the winner of multiple Charter Yacht Show Awards for good reason. She is well-cared by reputable crew, has a dedicated owner and manager. With 4 queen cabins OR 3 queen cabins and 1 twin bunks, Island Hoppin’ comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and offers all the great lounge space we now expect from Lagoon catamarans. Her abundant water toys, premium spirit ship’s bar, flybridge, Indoor/outdoor dining, forward lounge space all make her a highly sought after charter vessel in the U.S. & British Virgin Islands.
In 2019, she received a new crew who came from another reputable Lagoon, Better Days. We met up with Taylor & Margaret at the November Charter Yacht Show on St Thomas and spent what felt like half of the charter yacht show with them. We even ambushed them for a late afternoon impromptu cocktail hour. For this reason, we are highlighting them as the FIRST Boat of the Month for 2020.
In addition to the standard All Inclusive Charter inclusions, Taylor and Margaret include diving and dive gear. Taylor is a dive instructor which means he can offer resort discovery dives. This allows guests to experience and sample diving without being certified. Margaret has completed her 200 hr Yoga Certification and offers yoga on the beaches of the British Virgin Islands, on Island Hoppin’ or even on a Stand Up Paddle Board!
