2nd Stewardess | Alexis Carpenter | American
BIO: Alexis, a Cleveland native, kicked off her journey on the soccer field, playing nationally and traveling the country and later representing Miami University of Ohio while majoring in Business. A pivotal shift occurred when her parents set sail for Shanghai, China, inspiring in Alexis a profound desire to explore the world.
Post-graduation, she embraced the conventional 9-to-5 grind, but her adventurous spirit yearned for more. Taking a leap of faith, Alexis relocated to Fort Lauderdale, and since then, she’s never looked back.
For over four years, Alexis has thrived in the yachting scene, infusing her passions for fun and adventure into her work. Whether it’s captivating and entertaining guests or creating intricate tablescapes, she elevates ever yacht experience to an extraordinary level.
Beyond her maritime pursuits, Alexis enjoys reading, practicing yoga, painting and playing pickleball. Mike is also patiently imparting his fishing expertise. From the heartland to the high seas, Alexis epitomizes a life less ordinary, proving that sometimes you must sail away from the familiar shores to discover your true home.
Mate | Michael Kiraly | American
BIO: Meet Mike, a Jersey Shore native who traded his surfboard for a life of adventure. Growing up in Toms River, New Jersey, he rose the waves and soaked in the coastal vibes. At 21, Mike set sail with the US Coast Guard, stationed in Galveston, Texas, Kodiak, Alaska and Charleston, South Carolina.
From the Bering Sea to the Caribbean, Mike’s Coast Guard journey included search and rescue missions, hurricane responses, and federal law enforcement boardings. After six years of service, he chartered a new course into the world of yachting, inspired by his sister’s own seafaring tales.
Now navigating luxury yachts, Mike’s expertise spans from the Hamptons to the Caribbean. Whether cruising or casting lines, he thrives on driving the tender and curating the perfect playlist for every excursion. During his downtime, you’ll find Mike riding the waves, savoring the thrill of surfing, and challenging Alexis to some intense pickleball showdowns. Join Mike for a sea-soaked adventure, where every wave tells a story, and the playlist is as vibrant as the journey itself!
Note: This is the Owner’s chosen crew. Under the USCG Bareboat terms, the Charterer has the option to hire the same crew or other crew pending approval by flag and insurance.

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.
The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
