He lived there with his parents and sister until he was 17 when he went to Madrid to study business management and law by passing the national bar exam. Jose obtained a Master's degree at the University of Seville. However, after several years in a law firm, he soon realized that it was not his vocation, so he changed careers but first had to undertake nautical training. He has an advanced diving qualification, and the highest recreational/professional captain's qualification in Spain.
Jose started sailing at a young age when he went fishing with my family, and since then he has been passionate about the sea. He learned to swim in it, he spent every summer afternoon with friends playing beach volleyball and beach soccer, and even remembers that his first kiss was a summer night on the beach! Jose has always enjoyed the outdoor life, and in addition to sailing, he liked playing soccer and being outside with friends, especially riding his bike. He participated with his town's team, and they won several important championships and found he enjoyed team competitions. Jose still enjoys spending time in nature, enjoying long hiking trails, sleeping outdoors, and especially descending rivers and canyons which he finds exhilarating.
He speaks Spanish as his native language, as well as fluent English. He has traveled a lot which allowed him to improve his English. Several summers ago Jose decided to go to the USA and work there to continue improving his English and stayed in Long Beach Island (New Jersey) and San Francisco (California). In his student days, he provided English classes to people who wanted to learn Spanish. For several years he worked with the Red Cross in the maritime rescue section.
Jose's favorite place in the world is Ibiza - since it has everything. Dream beaches, fabulous restaurants, small unspoiled areas of countryside, nature, culture... it is a magical island, everyone who visits it is enchanted.

Pam loved all forms of sports in her youth, participating in theater and dance festivals. She started sailing when she was a teenager, on the Venezuelan coast, taking advantage of the fact that she lived in a tropical climate that allowed her to enjoy the sea almost all year round.
She completed her university studies in a city very close to the sea, where she studied Journalism, and obtained a Master in advertising and public relations. After graduating as a journalist, she had to flee the country due to the political persecution of the regime. Pam then settled in Spain and found her passion for the sea increased so she decided to pursue nautical studies, and qualified as a Yacht Captain of pleasure boats, Professional pattern, STWC95 Basic Training courses, GMDSS restricted radio operator, and health training.
Over the years Pam has worked as an institutional journalist, carried out photographic reports, and performed the functions of babysitter, restaurant waitress, cook, stewardess, sailor and skipper.
Pam's favorite sailing destination is the Caribbean because she was born and raised in its turquoise waters.
Pam prefers an interactive charter, exchanging ideas with clients and making decisions together, especially sharing the culinary experiences with her guests and being able to cook meals to their taste.

New Year 2024/5 SXM and St Barths
Overall got a very positive feedback - they had a great time and really liked the boat and the crew. The only caveat he mentioned was that the chef was more of a Med style cook. He chartered before in the Caribbean so the meals were different. He really liked both Jose and Pam and appreciated how they went above and beyond and absolutely has no complaints about them personally (tipped well too). So, I just wanted to let you know. What is included in a All Inclusive Charter? What Is NOT Included?
Unless otherwise specified-Caribbean Standard All-Inclusive Charters include the following:
- Standard check-in/check-out of 12pm
- Light daily housekeeping
- Breakfast, lunch, canapés/afternoon tea, dinner and snacks
- Standard ship’s bar: vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila, triple sec, mixers, local beers, table wine and water/coffee/tea and soft drinks
- Stereo with MP3/iPhone connection with indoor/outdoor speakers; 3G/4G Wi-Fi access point
- Snorkeling equipment, fishing gear, kayaks, dingy tender with outboard motors
- Water toys such as floating islands, and air mattresses
- Separate bathroom and living quarters for crew
- Reputable and licensed crew who have local knowledge of waters and are able to adjust menus based on guest’s preferences and dietary restrictions

Jose's favorite place in the world is Ibiza - since it has everything. Dream beaches, fabulous restaurants, small unspoiled areas of countryside, nature, culture... it is a magical island, everyone who visits it is enchanted.
We asked Jose what adjectives friends would use to describe him and he replied "Active, friendly, funny, outgoing, athletic"
Jose's motto in life is "Sharing is living" and he applies this to his charters as he enjoys chartering with guests, adapting the type of charter they wish to do, and he's always happy to make their charter a memorable one.

Chef / Stewardess Pamela Castillo (she prefers to be called Pam) was born in a small cattle town in the south of Venezuela, along with her parents and brothers. Pam loved all forms of sports in her youth, participating in theater and dance festivals. She started sailing when she was a teenager, on the Venezuelan coast, taking advantage of the fact that she lived in a tropical climate that allowed her to enjoy the sea almost all year round.
She completed her university studies in a city very close to the sea, where she studied Journalism, and obtained a Master in advertising and public relations. After graduating as a journalist, she had to flee the country due to the political persecution of the regime. Pam then settled in Spain and found her passion for the sea increased so she decided to pursue nautical studies, and qualified as a Yacht Captain of pleasure boats, Professional pattern, STWC95 Basic Training courses, GMDSS restricted radio operator, and health training.
Over the years Pam has worked as an institutional journalist, carried out photographic reports, and performed the functions of babysitter, restaurant waitress, cook, stewardess, sailor and skipper.
Pam's favorite sailing destination is the Caribbean because she was born and raised in its turquoise waters.
Pam prefers an interactive charter, exchanging ideas with clients and making decisions together, especially sharing the culinary experiences with her guests and being able to cook meals to their taste.
We asked Pam what are three adjectives your friends would use to describe you?
She replied "Responsible, kind, educated." Her motto in life is "The important thing is not what you look at, but how you look at it."
In her spare time she loves to participate in Yoga, Pilates, dance, running, and sailing.
Pam is a person very committed to her work, and one of her main objectives is that the guests on board return home with a wonderful navigation and personal experience.

Tuna timbale with avocado and tomato: layers of fresh tomatoes and soft avocado, dressed with lemon and cilantro. Garnished with microgreens and a touch of balsamic reduction
Second course:
Spanish Paella, full of flavor, with fresh seafood and roasted peppers. Perfect to enjoy a comforting meal filled with the sea. - First course:
Warm potato salad, sautéed onion with a caramelized touch, and roasted red pepper strips.
Second course:
Baked fish fillet with a crust of crushed nuts, bathed in a light lemon and butter sauce. - First course:
Carrot and fresh ginger cream/zucchini and leek cream served with a touch of extra virgin olive oil and sesame seeds.
Second course:
Honey soy sauce glazed chicken over basmati rice with spiced noodles.

Green salad with avocado, tomato, surimi, goat cheese, and walnuts with olive oil and Pedro Ximenes reduction.

Tagliatelle with pesto with sautéed shrimp and fresh spinach, sprinkled with parmesan cheese. - First course:
Andalusian salmorejo (Cold tomato soup), toamate, bread and olive oil, creamy and refreshing, accompanied by hard-boiled egg. A summer classic that you can't miss!
Second course:
Reconfortante cazuela que combina la frescura de los mariscos con tiernas patatas, todo cocido a fuego lento. (Comforting casserole that combines the freshness of seafood with tender potatoes, all simmered)
DINNER:
As the sun sinks into the Caribbean horizon, you can enjoy a magical dinner on board. A perfect evening to create memories that will last a lifetime!
- Spanish Tortilla (Potato Omelette) golden to perfection and full of flavor, accompanied by a fresh mixed salad. A dish that will make your dinner unforgettable!
- Beef/chicken mexican fajitas: Juicy strips of meat or chicken seasoned with spices, sautéed with peppers and onion, served in warm tortillas. Accompanied with guacamole, salsa and sour cream for an extra touch.
- Beef burgers, goat cheese and jam: Juicy beef burger, creamy goat cheese, and lamb's lettuce or fresh lettuce and French fries.
- Juicy chicken or beef fillets, accompanied by smooth mashed potatoes and a colorful selection of steamed vegetables. A classic and comforting combination!
- Caesar salad with grilled chicken: Crispy fresh lettuce, dressed with creamy Caesar sauce, topped with tender pieces of grilled chicken, golden croutons, crispy bacon and a touch of Parmesan cheese. A delicious and healthy option.

New Year 2024/5 SXM and St Barths
Overall got a very positive feedback - they had a great time and really liked the boat and the crew. The only caveat he mentioned was that the chef was more of a Med style cook. He chartered before in the Caribbean so the meals were different. He really liked both Jose and Pam and appreciated how they went above and beyond and absolutely has no complaints about them personally (tipped well too). So, I just wanted to let you know. What is included in a All Inclusive Charter? What Is NOT Included?
Unless otherwise specified-Caribbean Standard All-Inclusive Charters include the following:
- Standard check-in/check-out of 12pm
- Light daily housekeeping
- Breakfast, lunch, canapés/afternoon tea, dinner and snacks
- Standard ship’s bar: vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila, triple sec, mixers, local beers, table wine and water/coffee/tea and soft drinks
- Stereo with MP3/iPhone connection with indoor/outdoor speakers; 3G/4G Wi-Fi access point
- Snorkeling equipment, fishing gear, kayaks, dingy tender with outboard motors
- Water toys such as floating islands, and air mattresses
- Separate bathroom and living quarters for crew
- Reputable and licensed crew who have local knowledge of waters and are able to adjust menus based on guest’s preferences and dietary restrictions
- Operating expenses including: use of air conditioning, fuel, water, sailing permits/taxes, local taxes and crew wages
What Is Not Included in Standard All-Inclusive Charters:
- Gratuity for crew. Gratuity is at guest discretion and is typically between 15-20%
- Meals and beverages at restaurants and bars
- Rendezvous diving, ASA sailing certification courses and any other offshore excursions
- Premium wines and spirits

Christmas and New Year rate for 2024/5 is $30,000 all inclusive
The charter rates are all inclusive, which includes clearance taxes and port fees for the two islands of SXM and St Barths. For clients who wish to visit the island of Anguilla these expenses will be at additional cost.
