July 2026

Our vacation on Katana in the British Virgin Islands was a luxury dream trip. From the moment we stepped onto the yacht we were transported to another level of service, comfort, and attention. I don’t know all the proper boating terminology, but the main deck is bright, roomy, and easy to navigate, with outside seating on both the front and back of the ship. There were 7 of us on the trip and there was plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. There’s a large TV, Wi-Fi, music system, bar area, and dining area. We had our meals on the back deck and enjoyed the sunrises/sunsets in luxury.

Each bedroom had an in-suite bath and was spacious and extremely comfortable. We were on the lower back deck that included 2 of the 3 additional bedrooms, and we were amazed how quiet all the rooms were. The yacht’s stabilizing system is excellent because it was smooth whether we were anchored or sailing.

The crew was amazing. You completed a survey prior to the trip, so the crew was aware of your food and drink preferences, food allergies, and/or special requests from the very first day. They were attentive to our every need. They refreshed our room morning and night (including chocolate), helped us enjoy the onboard activities, provided sightseeing options and history of the area while touring.

The food was delicious. Breakfast included crispy bacon, warm croissants, eggs, quiche, pancakes, fruit, etc. Lunch and dinner followed the same pattern whenever you decided to eat on board. Fish tacos, sea bass, tuna, steaks, etc. were cooked to perfection. Homemade desserts were out of this world. Charcuterie boards and snacks were also readily available.

The amenities are excellent. Each bath was well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Suntan lotion was also provided. There are washers and dryers onboard, so there is no need to overpack. We were told to leave our wet bathing suits in the shower and before bed they were washed and back in the room. Any laundry placed in the provided laundry bag was returned the next day. The water sports equipment was all new and while we are all in our 70s, Captain Roger made sure we were all able to play if we wanted. You can choose to snorkel, paddle board, E-foil, float in the giant tube or simply relax in the hot tub. Our off-boat excursions were wonderful as well, from fishing to exploring the Baths, the Soggy Dollar Bar, local beaches, and caves. If you don’t have fun or come home with great memories /stories, it’s your own fault. We had a wonderful time and laughed every day.

What a week!

July 2026

Our week aboard the 85-foot yacht KATANA in the British Virgin Islands was everything we hoped for and more. Cruising the islands in such comfort and style made for an unforgettable vacation. The yacht itself is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed for a perfect week on the water. Our group consisted of four couples—lifelong friends who couldn't have asked for a better setting to relax, laugh, and make new memories together. All four staterooms were spacious, immaculate, and wonderfully quiet, with comfortable beds and private en-suite bathrooms. The yacht's thoughtful design, with easy stairway access between all three levels instead of ladders, made moving about effortless and comfortable for everyone.

Every day brought a new adventure. Whether we were enjoying the cool comfort of the air-conditioned salon, soaking up the sunshine on deck, or jumping into the crystal-clear Caribbean waters, there was never a dull moment. We snorkeled, tried the water toys—including the exciting hoverboard—explored beautiful beaches, and visited some terrific beach restaurants and legendary island bars. This was my first visit to the British Virgin Islands, and I completely understand why so many people return year after year. The islands are breathtaking, the water is warm and inviting, and every anchorage seemed more beautiful than the last.

What truly elevated this vacation from excellent to extraordinary was the outstanding captain and crew. Captain Roger, First Mate Kristyna, and Chef Chris were exceptional hosts who greeted us each day with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a smile. Captain Roger's knowledge of the islands ensured every stop was memorable, Kristyna anticipated every need before we even asked, and Chef Chris prepared meal after meal that rivaled some of the finest restaurants we've experienced. Their first-class service, attention to detail, and sincere hospitality made us feel completely at home from the moment we stepped aboard. They turned an incredible yacht vacation into a truly unforgettable experience. I can't recommend KATANA and her crew highly enough—I’m already looking forward to returning!

June 2026

Our family of five (my husband, myself and our three college-aged children) just returned from an unforgettable week aboard KATANA exploring the British Virgin Islands, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation we had.

From the moment we stepped aboard, it wasn’t just a vacation, it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. KATANA is absolutely beautiful. The yacht is impeccably maintained, spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. Every stateroom offered privacy and luxury, and there was SO much room for our family to spread out or gather together. We loved enjoying coffee on the aft deck & watching the stars from the bow. But the BEST was relaxing in the flybridge Jacuzzi at sunset…If you have never sipped a cocktail, while soaking in a hot tub,  aboard a yacht, after a fabulous day of island hopping…I HIGHLY recommend!! Wow!

What truly made this trip exceptional, however, was the crew. They were simply outstanding. Professional, warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our vacation perfect, they anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. The chef prepared restaurant-quality meals every single day that rivaled some of the best dining we’ve ever experienced. Every meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, and they happily accommodated everyone’s preferences. (One member of our group didn’t eat seafood, and one member of our group was gluten-free.)

One of our favorite aspects of the trip was the itinerary the crew created for us. Every destination felt like the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. They introduced us to lively beach bars, fun waterfront restaurants, and vibrant island nightlife, but also knew exactly where to find secluded coves, pristine beaches, and peaceful anchorages.

The water toys kept everyone entertained for hours. Between snorkeling, paddleboarding, sea scooters, & flight board, there was never a dull moment. And the best was the day the crew blew up THE YACHT SLIDE!!!  Oh my goodness, what an experience…so many LAUGHS and so much FUN! Our college-aged kids had an absolute blast, and my husband and I loved that there was something for all of us.

The British Virgin Islands are breathtaking, but experiencing them aboard KATANA was awesome.  If you’re considering a charter, don’t hesitate. KATANA offers it all! This was THE finest vacations our family has ever taken, and we cannot wait to return. Thank you to the incredible crew, Roger, Kristina & Kayla for giving us a week we’ll cherish for a lifetime.
