Captain Bryan, Thank you for a wonderful time sailing the BVI!! We loved spending time in this beautiful sea and learning about so many cool and amazing things. The sailing was relaxing and our family got to spend such quality time together. Each stop we went to was unique with a story of its own and we loved exploring them all. Our favorite had to be that perfect little sand island with the three palm trees. So cool even though it was a dinghy challenge, but we had the best dinghy captain in the Caribbean! Captain Jamie – What a dream come true this trip has been! Grand Sue has been talking about taking all the grandkids sailing since our last sailing trip in 2004. Amazingly, it has happened! Though chartering the catamaran wasn’t in our original plan, thank goodness we found you and Rapscallion! You’ve been super flexible and accommodating, while also leading the way to some of the best spots in the BVI. How deluxe to have a guide, captain, chef, and boat connoisseur to lead the way! And you were such a good sport to join us in dancing to Yuck! It’s hard to beat the day in Anegada and that incredible lobster feast, but my favorite nights so far have been relaxing under the stars and making drinks to share together. Gratitude, much respect! Fingers crossed we’ll recreate this reunion again. – First Mate Ashley

Captain Jamie and the Rapscallion turned our BVI charter into a masterclass in how to live well and sail better. From the moment we stepped aboard, Jamie's planning was tighter than a ship's rigging-every stop, from the Rhone's haunting wreck to Anegada's lobster-laden shores, felt like he'd whispered to the islands ahead of time. He tailored the trip to our interests as he got to know us, weaving in Northern Sound's rugged splendor, Smuggler's Cove's raw edge, and Sandy Spit's tiny paradise-each a perfect match by the journey's end. His know-how was encyclopedic; he navigated us through Jost Van Dyke's party pulse and pristine snorkeling spots with the ease of a man who's memorized the Caribbean's heartbeat. Recommendations were spot-on-RMS Rhone's underwater cathedral left us awestruck, Anegada's beaches were a revelation, and Jost's Soggy Dollar was a triumph of timing. The snorkeling? I've got a new standard for 'clear water' now. Bonus points: his connection to Sweet Tea Willy, the taxi driver with more charm than a barrel of rum, added a local flavor we'll never forget. Jamie didn't just captain a boat-he orchestrated an odyssey. The Rapscallion's a gem, and we're already plotting our return. Ben

Susan’s 60th birthday week!! Don’t Worry –Be Cappy! Cappy did a fantastic job planning a fun filled adventure for five old people. Favorite memories were scooting around Anagada, floating at JVD all day and the adventure to and from the Windmill Bar in St. John. Lots of good snorkeling spots and beautiful stargazing at night. Sunsets were absolutely beautiful!! Thanks for taking such good care of us, Captain Jamie! Susan, Barb, Rick, Laure, Dave

It was a great size for our family of 5. Plenty of room to sleep, with private bathrooms in each of the quarters. The kitchen was a little tight for all of us to gather, but it served us well for many meals. Lots of great space on the deck for lounging, and sunning. Easy to get on and off for snorkeling. Fun toys for activities, we used the SUP's the most. Captain Jamie was very accessible and accommodating. He was great with the kids and became a part of the family! We were very satisfied with the cruising itinerary. We had to make a few adjustments along the way, but all of the destinations were still beautiful and unique. Lots of snorkeling and beach time, which we requested! The floating restaurants were a great experience as well. Super fun itinerary! We were very impressed with the level of service and professionalism from Captain Jamie, and all of the vendors we encountered. This was a bucket list trip that went very well for us! We can't wait to come back and do it all again soon! Scott

I couldn’t imagine a better vacation celebrating our girls graduation from college and high school. It’s difficult to put into words the beauty and the splendor of wind pushing our beloved Rapscallion through the water. The peace and beauty of the sounds, water and sky passing us by is heavenly. My favorite part of Holiday was trying the painkillers (frozen is my fav). I also love swimming and tanning on the boat. The food is something I will never forget. I also loved seeing sea turtles and a stingray (love those sea creatures). I had a wonderful holiday. What an amazing adventure! We all thoroughly enjoyed our week on the Rapscallion, thanks to our wonderful captain. We appreciate Jamie’s attentiveness, flexibility, and knowledge- made for a fantastic family vacation with our kiddos. Some highlights- Kris- Our relaxing, fun time on our own beach (Prickly Pear) and The Baths! Matt- Waking up on the sea and looking out at the beautiful vistas. And pulling into a new spot every day. Ryan and Steph, with our past experiences on chartered catamarans, we had high expectations for the experience and crew Dash you exceeded them on this trip!! When Kimberly and I wanted our team and their spouses to experience a relaxing week, we couldn’t think of a better trip then sailing in the Caribbean with them. You made the trip even more special. The little, yet big, details like the specialty drinks, the flavored spa waters daily, making sure we always had what we needed to make this a pure vacation were appreciated! We love the games, conversations, flowers, snorkel trips, my platform, the perfect island stops, the cold drinks, watching Chef Steph dancing in the kitchen making the perfect and delicious five-star meals and all the other work that happen behind the scenes so we could relax in paradise. Ryan and Steph, just wow!!! Nicci and I came on this boat not knowing what to expect. Our minds are blown! Ryan, thanks for being the perfect captain. You know the answer to every question we had. True or not it felt true. Taking us from Cove to Cove, it’s been the most beautiful experience we have ever seen. You’re kind and gentle heart close and made it easy for us to relax a special thank you. Steph your hospitality has no limit. The food was amazing, unbelievable! Your energy was contagious. Rating of Yacht & Crew: (5 Being the Highest) 5 Was the yacht comfortable and clean? Yes, yacht was comfortable, clean and well stocked. Was the yacht well ventilated? Yes well ventilated. The AC went down to at least 69 degrees and there was a separate fan over the bed. We were concerned it wouldn’t be cold enough for us but it wasn’t an issue. Was the crew friendly and accommodating? Yes Capt. Ryan and first mate Steph were the best. They made us feel special and pampered. Was the food good and well presented? Yes everything was made from scratch and the menu was different every day. Steph was an amazing cook! My wife was gluten-free so she made special accommodations for every meal. 8. Additional comments about the yacht and crew? First rate crew. They were so much fun! They took us to one of kind spots that we’ve never been to and excellent restaurants. They helped arrange a band on the boat for a birthday celebration that turned into a “block party “ on the bay. Would definitely hire again. Cruising Area Did you like the area you chartered in? Yes went to Saint Thomas, Saint John and Saint Croix.

A Christmas trip aboard the Rapscallion Ship From our very first call, I knew we’d be welcomed by Steph southern drawl And Ryan to navigate through every single squall With Ryan at the helm where the sea is his realm we never did think that in the sea we would sink. With the realm of the galley steered by the smiling stef we knew we had a wonderful chef The meals were more delicious than we ever could wish, Steph amazed us with every dish. Ryan found as great places to swim, where many beautiful fish we saw with mass snorkels and fins. They took us to line out, where we ate tacos on a float. Then with full bellies we swim back to our sailboat. On Christmas Eve they swam us to tunes where we heard some fiddling and a Rastaman croon. Ryan and Steph are a wonderful crew, when we leave them we will be filled with many boo-hoo‘s Over this Christmas week we did spend, a week with a couple we call marvelous friends! Know that Kathy, Charlie, Cate, Tess, and Chris it is you Ryan and Steph we will definitely miss! We hope to see you again on a near future date. Steph and Ryan, Vacation is over and we are not happy about it. This trip most definitely exceeded any expectations I had. We loved everything about it. From Hikes (more challenging to some than others end) snorkeling, Saint Croix jeep tour!! U2 are the very best!! Never wanting for a thing this week makes it tough to head back to reality. Where to begin? We have loved our two short week with you! Things we’ve particularly enjoyed, in no particular order. 1. The soothing sounds of the islands, like waves crashing on the shore, frog singing at night, and that Eazy-E station blasting through the speakers! 2. Hiking! From Beta Bay, checking out ruins, possibly trespassing, Ramshead and petroglyphs. 3. Amazing snorkeling at every stop. 4. Stephs ridiculously good kitchen creations. #DropItLikeIt’sHot 5. I got to see a lunar eclipse Dash reward for being up at 5:45 every day! And it was a full moon! 6. Shutting the box!!! 7. Taming Felicia! It took a little waterboarding, but I like her spunk! Was the crew friendly and accommodating? From the moment we got out of the cab in St Thomas we knew it was going to be an awesome vacation with Steph and Ryan. They were so welcoming and so excited to meet us. 2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean? Rapscallion was the perfect choice for our group. It was beautiful. Plenty of room inside and out. 3. Was the yacht well ventilated? Yes 4. Was the food good and well presented? The food Steph prepared was out of this world. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. All were beautifully presented and very delicious. 5. Did you like the area you sailed? The US Virgin Islands was spectacular. Ryan and Steph put together an Itinerary based on our requests that showed us the best areas 6. Additional comments on your charter? This trip exceeded any and all expectations. Can't say enough about our new friends Ryan and Steph. They made all our dreams come true with this trip. It was most relaxed and fun trip any of us had ever had. The scenery, the food and drinks, snorkeling, shopping, sailing and all the great floating toys on the boat were spectacular. It was a trip we will remember for a lifetime!!!!

Hi Steph and Ryan, I don’t know which of you is more lucky to have the other. The highlight of our week has been you guys and your fabulous sense of humor. You have an uncanny ability to give us exactly what we want, both giving us space and being there, for laughs, for cocktails, for snacks, and constantly offering entertainment options. Steph, everyone raves about your food, and it is heavenly good. If you forced me to pick favorites, it would be the evening fish dishes, and the massive breakfasts that were perfect after an hour of wobbly dawn yoga on deck, an early morning snorkel, and plenty of coffee. BTW that coffee was always there and freshly brewed no matter what ridiculously early time I got up. I couldn’t beat Ryan out of bed, even once, although Liz managed it, but only on day one, getting up at 3:30am she was so determined not to miss a minute of vacation. Steph, I loved our land hikes to get the views, and seeing you sweat like crazy and assure me that you loved climbing hills too, while downing gatorade. Ryan, you showed us beautiful cove after beautiful cove, and stunning sunset after stunning sunset. You gave me my first taste of tubing, and it was a blast! There was no way I was flying off that thing, although you tried hard, and I swallowed half the ocean laughing. Andrew got his first taste of paddle-boarding (I have the hilarious video to prove it). It was no mill-pond, we had a big-swell week, and he wisely decided to stick to the kayak to explore the places you took us, but Liz went out most days (an experienced paddle-boarder and she could handle the chop). Thank you for towing the kayak out to the very windy tip of Magens bay, so we had the perfect easy kayak back, going with the wind, watching the turtles surface, and nosying some of the most beautiful houses on Saint Thomas. Thank you for paying attention to our safety at all times, and racing across the bay to look for us when you thought we’d gone astray (we hadn’t, a false-alarm, we were having fun kayaking the coves, seeing goats play, and were just out of sight behind the massive boat, Felix). I’m the first to fall off Felicia, but apparently not the first to accidentally dump technology overboard. Thank you for rescuing my GoPro when I dropped it in the dark, minus its floatie bubble case. Thank you for tolerating our (slightly drunken) whim to night snorkel, inspired by the underwater flashlight/GoPro incident, and wisely advising how to do it safely (noodles and buddies), and then killing the boat lights and blasting out the Jaws theme-tune as we swam back (OMG we laughed!). Thank you for tirelessly hunting lobster with William (yum, the sashimi appetizer Steph created from it was delicious!). Thank you for filling your tiny freezer with his bait, and zipping along at plenty of knots so he could fish off the back of the boat. I loved when we had both sails up, the noise of the boat whooshing through the water, and we flew across to Buck Island, where I got those gorgeous turtle photos. Thank you for cleaning up after us, constantly, and the miraculously appearing towels, just when we needed them. You keep the yacht spotless, there are so many different places to chill, the cabins are beautiful, the water is hot, the beds are comfy, and the closet space surprisingly large (who knew there were drawers under the beds, and the bathrooms have six shelves). The evidence of how much fun we had is captured in so many photos of so many memories that we will treasure, and you Captain Ryan and First Mate Stephanie, are right there, starring in tons of them. We just returned from a fabulous New Years week cruise in the US virgin Islands aboard “Rapscallion” crewed by Captain Ryan and First Mate/Chef Stephanie. First of all, the boat itself is beautiful. For a 45 foot catamaran, it was extremely spacious and modern with plenty of room for all us to relax and enjoy the trip. Each stateroom was well appointed with its own head and separate air-conditioning control. The crew were professional yet by the end of the cruise we all had become dear friends. Stephanie is an excellent chef who worked tirelessly to feed us the most exquisite meals and keep us all hydrated with infused waters, a coffee bar, and delicious cocktails. Stephanie is also one of the best First Mates in the Caribbean. Captain Ryan is one of the best skippers I have ever sailed with and his knowledge of the local waters is extensive. Every night and again each morning, he surveyed the weather, radar, and marine chatter to find us the most beautiful locations with the calmest seas for the journey. Captain Ryan took us to see turtles, coral reefs, floating tequila taco bars, beach bars, sunset hikes, secluded beach hikes, and much more. The crew arranged for some of our guests who scuba dive to be met by a charter boat for a day of diving while the other passengers enjoyed a day on the beach. For New Years Eve, since everything was shut down due to COVID, Captain Ryan and Stephanie arranged for a local musician to be dinghied to our boat for a floating sunset concert along with other vessels. This was followed by a fantastic dinner in St. John followed by a fire juggling show on the beach all before we counted down the new year with new friends back on our boats. We so appreciated all their attention to detail and the fact they really love to do what they do. I have been on several charters in the USVI and BVI and this one was the best by far. Thanks

Can't think of a more perfect getaway than this week aboard Rapscallion. we have so enjoyed every part of it. By far the best part has been having Ryan and Steph as captain and chef. You two have made our experience even better than expected. We especially enjoyed our excursion over to St. Croix- it was such a charming little town and the dinner at Savant was outstanding. Buck Island in STX was beautiful and finishing up our trip at the shipwreck was a great snorkeling experience with the best sunset of the week. Were are so happy to have met both of you and hope that you will join us in New Orleans one day soon!! Regardless, we will be back to take another trip with you again in the future!! What an amazing week for the Family! This was originally a 2020 spring break trip but luckily we were able to make it happen over Thanksgiving break and what a MAJOR treat! Captain Ryan and Chef Steph could not be more wonderful. Steph's attention to detail for all of our desires was amazing. Captain Ryan was more than awesome pulling all of our kids tubing and waakye boarding. We all feel so lucky to have escaped covid even for a small break of normal!! This trip has been on our bucket list for some time. We finally made it happen and are so glad to have sailed with you two as our host. We were able to learn the local history, learn so much about the coral and fish, and eat and eat and eat to our hearts content. You knew all of the best spots and then some! Janet’s 50th Celebration From the moment we stepped foot on the yacht we left the world behind..... When asked about sailing, Ryan’s grin was a sign of what the next 8 days would hold. He went from expert sailor, to fishing guide, to dive buddy, scooter leader, master griller, pro snorkeler, history teacher, and dance moves that stop fish from swimming just to watch. Maybe his best move ever though, was finding Stephanie to be his mate. No sea too rocky for our little spider-monkey to keep our drinks full, and our giggles endless. What an amazing vacation!! Being in a different, beautiful location each evening was such a unique part of the trip. Our captain and first mate always knew the best stops on each island and we were able to see things that we would have never known about otherwise.
