CAPTAIN
James Cotter

James grew up on a farm in the British countryside. From a young age, he was obsessed with anything and everything mechanical, competing in go-kart racing and demolition derbies. He spent summers in his father's Irish coastal hometown of Dungarvan, where he developed a love for the ocean and entertaining.

He started a career in the luxury eyewear industry working for brands such as TAG Heuer and Calvin Klein, but eventually, his love for the ocean won out and drew him toward a career in the yachting industry. He has worked for three years as a charter captain in various locations including Croatia, French Polynesia and The Virgin Islands.

We had such an amazing time in the BVI's on the 54' Bali Catamaran with Captain James Cotter and Chef Phee! I had sailed on the Oceana with my family of 5 in late july and had to go back again with friends! The attention to detail to customize our week to meet our needs was off the charters fabulous! Sailing, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, sea scootering, paddle boarding, dining, fabulous drinks, great wines, cab ride with Sweet Willie T, Coco Maya dancing, lobsters in Anegada, hiking, The Baths, beautiful sunsets..... Everyone had the best time and agrees it's the only way to vacation!! Can't wait to do it again!
