DOUBLEYOU
Formerly named CONTINENTAL DRIFTER II when owned by popular American music singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, the 89'/27 m expedition yacht cruised around the SE Asian region for several years before being completely refitted (2019). Renamed DOUBLEYOU, she is now available for charter in SE Asia, cruising the beautiful region of the Philippines. The current owner stripped the yacht completely and rebuild her from scratch. Starting from the strong and durable, all-fibreglass hull, a light interior with tasteful furnishings was created. The family yacht has a beach house atmosphere and is complemented by striking art work. Besides her colourful history - cabins are named after long-term celebrity guests - DOUBLEYOU offers the perfect, stable platform for a family vacation. She is a super strong vessel with many amenities, including the latest state-of-the-art dive gear (2019) and water toys for the whole family to enjoy. The yacht has a long range (4,300 nm), and is capable to cruise beautiful, unexplored regions in the Philippines for long periods at a time. A professional photo shoot of the newly refitted DOUBLEYOU had been planned for April 2020 in the Philippines but alas! The photo/VDO shoot will be rescheduled as soon as travel and marine traffic is possible and in the meantime, enjoy the casual snapshots included here.
There are 4 cabins on the lower deck. On the Fly Bridge is a large Sky Lounge where extra beds could be placed for children (or an extra adult)..
The Master and VIP are about equal in size and full-beam.
There are two twin cabins forward, on port and starboard, each with toilet and shower.

A tourist visa is only necessary for stays exceeding 30 days and depends on the traveler’s country of citizenship.

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.
