Sea Goddess Yacht Charter in the British Virgin Islands

Step aboard Sea Goddess, a brand-new 60-foot solar-electric power catamaran offering crewed yacht charters in the British Virgin Islands.

Built in 2026, Sea Goddess combines solar generation, electric propulsion, high-capacity batteries, and expansive luxury living. Her near-silent operation, broad 33.66-foot beam, flybridge plunge pool, hydraulic swim platform, and varied collection of water toys create a distinctive charter experience.

Accommodating up to eight guests in four cabins and supported by a professional crew of two, Sea Goddess is an innovative choice for travellers seeking comfort, adventure, and a more environmentally considerate way to explore the BVI.

Solar-Electric Cruising

Sea Goddess is designed around integrated solar power and electric propulsion.

Her solar array and high-capacity battery system support quiet cruising and reduce the need to run a generator. A large backup generator provides additional energy security when operating conditions or onboard demand require it.

Under suitable conditions, guests can enjoy peaceful mornings, quiet sunsets, and restful anchorages with less engine and generator noise.

Sea Goddess cruises at approximately eight knots and can reach a listed maximum speed of approximately 12 knots.

Open-Plan Luxury Living

Sea Goddess’ wide-beam layout creates generous indoor and outdoor spaces with an easy flow between them.

Full air conditioning operates throughout the yacht and is available overnight. The interior offers comfortable areas for dining, conversation, and entertainment, while the exterior decks provide multiple settings for enjoying the Caribbean surroundings.

Onboard amenities include:

Sound system
Board and card games
Coffee and espresso maker
Full-size refrigerator
Ice maker
Ship’s bar
Outdoor shower
Fully customizable menu

Four Guest Cabins

Sea Goddess welcomes up to eight guests in four cabins.

The supplied information does not specify the bed sizes, bathroom configuration, or exact cabin layout. These details should be confirmed before booking and added to the published listing once available.

The professional crew occupies separate accommodations, providing attentive service while maintaining guest privacy.

Flybridge Plunge Pool and Panoramic Views

Sea Goddess’ flybridge is one of her defining outdoor spaces.

Oversized sunpads, a plunge pool, bar, dining area, and panoramic 360-degree views create an elevated setting for relaxed afternoons and sunset gatherings.

Forward, the spacious bow lounge provides another place to sunbathe, read, or stargaze. The yacht’s open design allows guests to choose between lively social areas and quieter private spaces throughout the day.

Hydraulic Swim Platform

A hydraulic aft platform brings guests closer to the sea and simplifies tender operations.

The platform provides convenient access for swimming, launching water toys, and boarding the ZeroJet tender. It also creates an inviting waterside area while the yacht is at anchor.

Personalized Crewed Service

Sea Goddess is operated by a dedicated captain and engineer alongside a chef and first mate.

The two-person crew looks after yacht operations, itinerary planning, personalized dining, and guest activities. Menus can be customized around the group’s preferences, while the ship’s bar supports relaxed afternoons and evening cocktails.

Adventure on the Water

Sea Goddess carries an enjoyable collection of water toys for exploring the British Virgin Islands.

Available equipment includes:

ZeroJet tender
Two stand-up paddleboards
Underwater scooters
ZUP board
Wakeboard
Towable tube
Floating dock
Snorkelling equipment
Fishing equipment

Water-toy quantities not specified above should be confirmed before booking.

Equipment availability and use remain subject to weather, operating condition, guest experience, completed waivers where required, and the captain’s discretion.

Rendezvous Scuba Diving

Rendezvous scuba diving may be arranged through an independent local operator but is not included in the charter.

Sea Goddess is not listed with onboard dive equipment or an air compressor. Dive locations, operator availability, equipment rental, certification requirements, medical documentation, transportation, and costs should therefore be arranged in advance.

All diving remains subject to weather, local regulations, itinerary requirements, and professional approval.

Fishing in the British Virgin Islands

Fishing equipment is listed aboard Sea Goddess.

Fishing remains subject to BVI regulations and any applicable yacht permits or personal licensing requirements. The equipment inventory and licensing arrangements should be confirmed before departure.

Explore the British Virgin Islands

Sea Goddess is registered in the British Virgin Islands and offers an innovative platform for exploring the region’s protected bays, beaches, reefs, and island communities.

Her quiet electric propulsion can provide a more peaceful experience while cruising between destinations or arriving in an anchorage.

The precise embarkation point should be confirmed for the requested dates. Every itinerary remains subject to weather, sea conditions, energy requirements, local regulations, and the captain’s approval.

A More Sustainable Charter Experience

Sea Goddess is designed to reduce fuel use and emissions through solar generation, battery storage, and electric propulsion.

Her systems offer guests the opportunity to enjoy quiet yacht travel with a smaller operational footprint than a conventionally powered vessel under suitable conditions.

Because the yacht carries a backup generator, fuel use and emissions may still occur when additional power is required.

Guest Policies

Smoking is permitted only from the yacht’s aft sugar-scoop areas.

Use of water-sports equipment may require completed liability waivers and remains subject to guest ability, weather, and captain approval.

Begin Your Sea Goddess Yacht Charter

With four guest cabins, solar-electric propulsion, a flybridge plunge pool, hydraulic swim platform, customizable dining, and water toys for active days, Sea Goddess offers a genuinely different way to experience the British Virgin Islands.

Whether enjoying the quiet of electric cruising, relaxing beside the plunge pool, exploring by paddleboard, or gathering for dinner beneath the Caribbean sky, Sea Goddess brings innovation, luxury, and island adventure together.

Meet Rodrigo & Alys

There are great charter crews, and then there are the rare teams guests plan their next vacation around. Captain Rodrigo and Chef Alys are very much the latter.

After an extraordinary season aboard Apricity, including a Best in Show win at the 2025 VIPCA Charter Yacht Show, Rodrigo and Alys begin an exciting new chapter aboard Sea Goddess, the brand-new Sunpower ALVA Solar-E 60.

Together, they have created a style of hospitality that is polished but never formal, attentive without being intrusive, and wonderfully genuine. Guests consistently describe feeling completely at ease from the moment they step aboard. Rodrigo and Alys have an instinct for knowing when to join the conversation, when to create some fun, when to quietly take care of a detail behind the scenes, and when to let their guests simply enjoy having a beautiful yacht and the Caribbean all to themselves.

Rodrigo brings a calm confidence to life aboard. Guests praise his seamanship and attention to safety, but just as often they talk about his easygoing personality, quick sense of humor, and seemingly endless willingness to make the day more fun. He might be expertly navigating a busy anchorage one moment and mixing a cocktail, recommending a favorite island stop, running the tender ashore, or towing delighted kids around the bay the next.

Even guests who have chartered the BVI multiple times have found themselves discovering new favorite places with Rodrigo. He doesn't simply take guests from one island to another; he pays attention to the people aboard and shapes each day around what will make their vacation special.

That attentiveness is perhaps best illustrated by one family's experience traveling with a loved one battling ALS. Rodrigo considered his comfort, safety, and accessibility at every destination, continually finding ways to ensure he could be part of the experience. His family later described Rodrigo's compassion and care as "beyond words."

And then there is Alys.

For many guests, Alys's food becomes one of the most talked-about parts of the entire charter. Self-proclaimed foodies have described her cooking as Michelin-star quality, while another group admitted that if they could do their charter again, they would skip the restaurants entirely and eat every meal aboard.

Her menus are creative, fresh, beautifully balanced, and tailored to the people sitting around the table. Dietary restrictions and allergies are handled effortlessly. Breakfast might begin with a gorgeous fresh-fruit spread; afternoons bring beautiful appetizers and specialty drinks; dinner becomes an event without ever feeling overly formal.

And her desserts have developed something of a reputation of their own.

One guest who claimed never to photograph food found herself taking pictures of every meal Alys served because the presentation was simply that beautiful. Another family still talks about the Pavlova Alys made for their anniversary, inspired by a tradition from her own family. It is a perfect example of what makes her special: exceptional food made even more memorable because there is genuine thought behind it.

As talented as Rodrigo and Alys are individually, the magic is in the two of them together.

They are warm, funny, intuitive, organized, gracious, and genuinely seem to love giving people an extraordinary week. They know how to read a group and adjust the rhythm of a charter accordingly—adventurous when guests want adventure, relaxed when everyone wants to slow down, and always ready with an idea when someone asks, "What should we do today?"

The result is something that can't really be taught: guests feel cared for without feeling catered to, and by the end of the week, Rodrigo and Alys often feel less like the crew and more like part of what made the vacation unforgettable.

Perhaps the greatest compliment comes from the guests themselves. Families have called their time with Rodrigo and Alys the best vacation they have ever taken. Travel advisors hear from clients wanting to charter with them again. And one family returned home seriously debating whether their next vacation should be chosen by destination—or simply by wherever Rodrigo and Alys happen to be.

Now that place is Sea Goddess.

And for guests lucky enough to step aboard with them, that may be all they need to know.

"As a group of self-proclaimed "foodies," we were blown away by Alys. Every single meal felt like Michelin-star quality. Though she easily has the toughest job on the boat, Alys handled it with total grace and ease. Her menu planning was thoughtful, creative, and beautifully balanced.

While some chefs excel at cooking and others at baking, very few master both—yet Alys made both look effortless and taste delicious. To top it off, she accommodated our guests' food allergies without missing a beat."

"You exceeded our expectations in every way."

Dear Alys and Rodrigo,

You both made our week aboard Apricity truly magical. Thank you for creating a once-in-a-lifetime Caribbean experience our family will always treasure.

From the moment we stepped on board, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and fun. We instantly felt at home. You were incredibly attentive to every detail-balancing flexibility in the itinerary with a genuine focus on everyone's comfort and enjoyment.

Alys, your meals were simply superb. The quality, flavor, and presentation were all outstanding. Each morning began beautifully with a fresh fruit spread, and your creative happy hour offerings quickly became a daily highlight. Two desserts stood out in particular: the Pavlova you so thoughtfully prepared for our anniversary - a meaningful tradition from your family - and the light-as-air lemon custard that had everyone asking for the recipe.

Rodrigo, one of my favorite moments was hearing the squeals of delight as you towed our granddaughters on an inner tube around the bay. From the videos they weren't the only ones having fun. Your quick sense of humor and easygoing nature added so much joy to the experience.

You exceeded our expectations in every way. Anyone fortunate enough to charter a trip with you will not be disappointed.

With heartfelt thanks,

John & Karen

This trip was AMAZING!

This trip was AMAZING! The Apricity is a relatively smaller boat, although with 6 people we were completely comfortable. The multiple levels gave everyone a spot to be without us feeling like we were on top of eachother. The space was clean, easy to access, no weird ducking to get into the bedrooms (we had that on a prior boat and everyone hit their heads). Bathrooms were totally functional with a proper shower, vanity and toilet. The layout, size and cleanliness were great.

The best thing about our boat was the crew. Rodrigo and Alys were so wonderful. Rodrigo was a great captain and also bartender. Super chill, very friendly, happy to chat about where we are, where we're going, recommendations on where to stop, alternative options for islands etc. Also, he steered us to shore at Jost Van Dyke unbelievably well- we were all amazed at how he navigated through the other boats. It was clear in the tight spots and also in sailing that he's a pro. My husband and I have been on 2 prior BVI boat trips and yet Rodrigo took us to islands we've never visited including one that was a group favorite. He was always ready and willing with the dingy transport and a quick pickup upon request. Alys was also delightful, very organized but also chill, friendly and interesting to chat with. We can't stop talking about the food she made- it was all incredibly fresh, delicious and the presentation was a 10/10. I have never in my life taken pictures of food, but we took a picture of every single meal- it was that beautiful (and also delicious). She was always appearing with a gorgeous appetizer or specialty beverage and her desserts were honestly... indescribable. We left the boat on Friday, today is Monday and we are still talking about how great they were and considering whether our next trip should be based on destination/location or on availability of Rodrigo and Alys.

We have tons of great pictures of the boat and our trip, but mostly taken by my kids (and I don't have them) so I'm not posting any here but the photos online are very representative of the boat and layout- no wide angle lenses or photoshopping there!

My kids have been all over Europe and skiing out west for years and they said this is the best trip we've done. Highly recommend.

"absolutely loved you guys"

From the yacht broker about his clients:

Good day Alys and Rodrigo,

I just want to write and say thank you for showing my clients such an amazing time on the water. They absolutely loved you guys and they cannot stop raving about the excellent dishes you served up daily.

Thanks again for your hard work and hopefully I can get you another charter booked in the near future.

This truly was the trip of a lifetime for all of us.

Dear Rodrigo and Alys,

We had the absolute pleasure of sailing with the Apricity crew, Rodrigo and Alys, for seven nights in May 2026. I don't think I have the words to adequately express my gratitude for the exceptional level of service and care they provided to my husband, our friends, and me. This truly was the trip of a lifetime for all of us.

The compassion and care extended to my husband, who is battling ALS, was beyond words. Rodrigo’s attention to detail at every location was incredible; he constantly went above and beyond to ensure Charles was comfortable, safe, and happy.

As a group of self-proclaimed "foodies," we were blown away by Alys. To top it off, she accommodated our guests' food allergies without missing a beat.

Bottom line: if you are looking for a first-class experience, book with Rodrigo and Alys! You will not be disappointed.

I believe you have access to all of our photos but if there is anything else you need, please reach out.

Sincerely,

Townes

Welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease

I must say that we had an absolutely wonderful time on our catamaran vacation, and so much of that was because of Rodrigo and Alys. From the moment we stepped aboard, they made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease.

Rodrigo was an outstanding captain. His sailing skills, calm confidence, and attention to safety made us feel completely secure the entire trip. We were able to fully relax because we knew we were in very capable hands.

Alys was equally incredible. Her meals could not have been more perfectly matched to our likes and preferences. Every dish felt thoughtful, personal, and prepared exactly the way we liked it. Honestly, if we had the trip to do over again, we would have skipped the restaurants altogether and enjoyed every meal onboard.

Rodrigo and Alys went above and beyond to make our vacation relaxing, memorable, and truly special. Since we were celebrating our 50th birthdays, they helped make the trip feel even more meaningful. We are so grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. We could not recommend them more highly.

Sincerely,

Michael & Brandy

A trip we will remember for years to come!

Hello Rodrigo and Alys,

From the moment we stepped onto the boat, we were greeted with a smile and great food and drinks. Alys's cooking was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We asked for big flavor, and she delivered! The fresh conch ceviche was the best we have ever had. We chose to eat off the boat two nights and actually wish we would have had Alys's cooking for all of our meals instead. Her cocktails and desserts also did not disappoint! The key lime pie and meringue dessert were exceptional.

Rodrigo's knowledge of the area and sailing skills were impressive and helped us maximize our time in the islands to see all that we had hoped to see. Rodrigo helped us all feel at ease on the water, pointed out notable areas and fun facts about the area, and kept all the water toys ready and available. Together, Rodrigo and Alys make a great team. They took into consideration all of the things we had on our preference sheet and made us feel truly welcome on the boat. We would happily have Rodrigo and Alys as our charter crew again. If we return to the area and they were on a different boat, we would consider switching boats.

Our favorite memory was snorkeling in the bay around Peter Island where we saw several turtles, rays, giant angel fish, and even squid! We also had a lot of fun at Soggy Dollar and enjoyed the beach games at Tipsy's Bar on Anegada. If we were to go again, we would probably skip the trip to Anegada. The lobster meal wasn't worth the hype.

Thanks for all of your help organizing to make this an incredible trip that we will remember for years to come!

Bill and Jennifer

We loved our trip so much!

Rodrigo & Alys,

We are regretfully home safe and sound.  I hope you are having a lovely time with your families and enjoying some rest and relaxation. We loved our trip so much!

All the kids agreed that the two of you made it so special for them.  From the fishing, to the extra dinners for our midnight snackers, to the special touches in between, they all had such positive things to say.

My mom loved getting to know you both and was so proud of trying so many new foods!  She left the boat feeling relaxed, which is saying something for her.

Codey and I cannot tell you how much we loved the trip.  For me, being able to totally disconnect and have all the decisions and tasks managed by the two of you was exactly what I needed for this vacation.  I felt so cared for and knew we were in good hands.

Thank you again for everything!

Every single meal felt like Michelin-star quality. Bottom line: if you are looking for a first-class experience, book with Rodrigo and Alys! You will not be disappointed.

I believe you have access to all of our photos but if there is anything else you need, please reach out.

Sincerely,
