This was the first time our family has been on a boat trip. Zoki made the ride exceptionally smooth and Sanjas cooking always had us in "awe". We could not ask for anything more. The boat had great places to relax in the sun, and in the shade. Our kids were also not sure what to expect but are sad to leave the boat. It truly was relaxing and special. Thank you for an amazing week, delicious food and very funny stories. Thanks for the memories of a lifetime!

Our family spent seven nights traveling from Split to Dubrovnik aboard Mala in July 2024. We all agreed that this was by far our best vacation ever! Seeing Croatia from the water and stopping at many beautiful locations each day was truly a privilege. But what made this trip so special was the crew, Zoki and Sanja and their impeccably maintained catamaran “Mala”. Zoki is a professional captain, a perfectionist who knows the Adriatic like the back of his hand. He is also very knowledgeable about all the wineries in Croatia and gave us great recommendations each day. Sanja does everything other than steer the boat, but she is best known for her wonderful cooking. Every meal on Mala was absolutely delicious despite our long list of likes and dislikes ! Our initial thought was to spend all of our time on the boat or in the water, but Zoki and Sanja convinced us to take a Land-rover excursion on the island of Vis and a bicycle tour of Korcula. We are so glad we did both because they were a lot of fun and we learnt so much about the region’s rich history. Zoki and Sanja have invested heavily in new technology on Mala. The most impressive benefit to guests is the solar powered battery system that allows the boat to function overnight, including air conditioning, without the need for a noisy generator! This was our first visit to Croatia, but it won’t be our last! When we do return our first choice will be to do another journey with Zoki and Sanja aboard Mala.

We arrived from Colorado and Michigan USA not knowing exactly what our week would evolve into... other than we knew we would find much beauty. Nothing could have even matched our stay with you. Your kindness, stories, food, wine drinks, and love for Croatia was pure heaven!!! We will be talking and sharing our stories for a long time. Of course, Fred will be speaking in Croatian! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You two are very special people. We hope to return one day for another adventure with you.

Sanja and Zoki, Our second sailing with you on Catamaran Mala was even better than the first. Sailing with you will always be one of my favorite adventures. You truly have become family to the Nolas and we are blessed to travel with you. I had no idea if my Dad would enjoy Mala as much as Mom and he instantly fell in love just like us. My one wish every year is to come back and sail with you both. My heart is happy; My soul is content. My belly is full. It is time to go home, but we will see you in September 2024. Zoki and Sanja WOW. This trip was truly the BEST family vacation we've ever had! You passion for Croatia, the Adriatic, the environment, amazing FOOD are all so clear, what made this trip so special. Each of you add the perfect personalities to make Mala what she is today... a perfect relaxing but FUN experience. Please come visit us in San Diego. We finally made it to Italy and Croatia after two years of covid delays. Our week aboard Catamaran Mala was the highlight! Sanja and Zoki are wonderful hosts, whose enthusiasm for their beautiful country was a joy to experience. Sanja and Zoki are very skilled professional sailors who have thorough local knowledge of the water, the weather and the many islands of Croatia. We always felt safe aboard their beautiful boat. Every stop on our voyage from Split to Dubrovnik was interesting, fun and delicious thanks to the excellent guides Sanja and Zoki arranged, and thanks to their recommendations for activities and restaurants. Sanja is a galley magician! Every meal aboard Mala was fantastic! She expertly prepared a wide variety of fresh, delicious dishes, and presented the meals beautifully. We looked forward to see what the magic was for each meal, and we were never disappointed. We would highly recommend Catamaran Mala. Catamaran MALA is the way to see Croatia hands down. Sanja & Zoki are the best! They treat you with such warmth and hospitality that you feel you’re traveling with extended family. Each stop they took us to along the Croatian coast was better than the last. Zoki is extremely knowledgeable about this route and Sanja is an unbelievable hostess and chef. In Mala nothing is a coincidence or pure chance. Everything, from Zoki’s heavenly spots to Sanja’s exquisite dishes, is purposely thought, carefully designed and professionally delivered. We had a fantastic week on the Catamaran Mala. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Zoki and Sanja were incredible hosts. The boat is spacious, comfortable, super clean and absolutely delightful. Zoki is a master captain. He knew just where to go and manoeuvred us into spectacular private coves with gorgeous water and amazing views. Sanja’s cooking and presentation were fantastic! She addressed our needs and wants and always prepared delicious meals. Their dining recommendations on land where perfect. It was one of the most memorable and relaxing trips we have ever taken. Croatia is a beautiful country. We will be back. If you are thinking of booking on the Mala, do not hesitate. It was a fantastic experience.

"Our experience with Zoki, Sanja, and Catamaran Mala was one of the best trips of our lives. We spent time in Croatia and Greece, and this was the highlight of our vacation. We offer our highest recommendation to anyone. Here are a few things that really stood out to us (which might not be so obvious when you're researching and comparing options): 1. Ownership. Zoki and Sanja own Catamaran Mala, so they are as invested as can be in making sure that every detail of the experience is the best that it can be. In most situations, a Captain and Hostess are hired to work a boat. That is not the case here. Catamaran Mala is their business and their baby, and you can truly feel that they have put their full selves into making the experience as great as possible for guests. 2. Experience & Chemistry. Along with having several decades of experience on the sea and working with guests between them, Zoki and Sanja have great chemistry as Captain and Hostess (and as a couple themselves!). That chemistry creates a beautiful energy aboard Catamaran Mala, whether you're relaxing during quiet times, asking Zoki questions about the islands and their history, or having a lively chat with Sanja, whose energy and humor will always put you in a great mood. They strike the perfect balance of giving you space, being your guides, and being your friends. 3. Space, Quality & Food. Whereas similarly sized vessels are often built to cramp as many people as possible onboard, Catamaran Mala is a very comfortable space. That might mean one or two fewer rooms, but it's well worth it if you have the right party size. The boat is in excellent condition, all of your needs are accounted for onboard, and Sanja is an unbelievable chef. Our freshest and most memorable meals came on Catamaran Mala rather than on restaurants on land. 4. Flexibility & Customization. Zoki and Sanja have thought of everything you might want or need, including snorkels, water tubes, water skis, paddle boards, and even a full-size BBQ (to prepare whatever you'd like), electric bikes (for on-land exploration), and an outdoor movie projector (this was super unique... check out the photos on their Instagram page). They are super accommodating and flexible, and they will customize every bit of the experience to your preference. For all of these reasons and more, we offer Zoki, Sanja and Catamaran Mala our highest possible endorsement. It was an amazing experience and we hope to join them again one day!"
