CAPTAIN
Marko Mrcic

Marko was the moving spirit of the Mrcic family to buy beautiful gulet Libra. The family is in various types of service industries for over 30 years; they have owned restaurants, clubs, and they still own excursion boats and luxury vacation villa. As Marko has always been devoted to the sea, he has been skippering on their family boat and in the bareboat charter. When Marko heard that Libra was for sale back in 2013, he was sure that it was the right yacht for him. Experienced sailor, in love with the Adriatic coast, completely service and client-orientated, Marko is an exemplary captain/owner. Marko speaks English, has detailed knowledge of the area, dynamic and welcoming he will suggest to his clients the best ideas, activities, and programs.

DECKHAND/ RELIEF CAPTAIN
Karlo Mudnic

Karlo graduated from the School of Civil Engineering and Geodesy and became a construction technician. After working in electronic equipment businesses, Karlo decided to step up and move his career further by working on charter boats to improve his maritime and hospitality skills. Being a true team player and fluent in English he quickly became a valuable part of Libra’s crew. In his free time and for over 15 years, Karlo has been volunteering at Scout club “Split” where he greatly assists in conducting team meetings, organizing a youth scout program, scout camps, logistics, and administrative work.

CHEF
Antonio Misicin

Even during his high school education in Culinary school in Split, Antonio has been a part of the team in the kitchen of Hotel Radisson Blue in Split, where he continued to work for the next 2 seasons after receiving a professional chef's diploma (2015). Leaving an outstanding mark there, Antonio was invited to join Yellow Tree - a new, fine dining restaurant, located at the seaside in front of Diocletian's Palace. Summer 2017 Antonio spent as a chef on board of newly built mini cruiser. After that experience, Antonio was determined that his path is to present his professional skills to a smaller group of clients on an intimate level and personal approach. When he received an invitation to join Libra, Antonio saw an opportunity to showcase his full potential, skill, and love of culinary art. Another detail was important to Antonio when he chose Libra for his playground: Libra's galley is opened, placed in the salon which provides easy communication with guests, especially with those interested in getting some of Antonio's cooking tips, secrets of the trade, recipes or simply to watch him create his magic. Antonio's inspiration comes from locally produced, seasonal, and fresh ingredients.

''We had the best time! The crew was absolutely superb and made the whole experience unforgettable. The trip was so inspiring that some of us are even planning to celebrate our own 40ths in the same way! We can’t thank you enough for everything – we’d love to do it again.''
June 2025
“Thank you so very much for an amazing week on Libra. Every day was special. From the meals, water sports, dinghy rides, late night cocktails… You all made our experience so perfect. We all felt very comfortable and appreciated your exceptional service and the care you put into details of our stay. We will definitely be returning to the Libra. We love Croatia!”
June 2025
''We absolutely loved our trip! The yacht was perfect – just the right size – and the crew was truly outstanding. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the food was absolutely wonderful. We also really enjoyed the entire itinerary and programme, which made the journey unforgettable.''
Brokers' Feedback 2025 (FAM TRIP)
“Libra was immaculate. From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to welcome guests. Captain Marko is a legend—he's built a brilliant, handpicked team around him. You can tell the crew is proud of the boat and excited to share the experience with guests. The exterior dining setup is fantastic—guests get to enjoy meals with the captain right there at the helm, which adds something special. I also loved the lounge area on deck—super inviting and well laid out. Libra definitely has a strong sense of style, and the combination of Marko’s personality with the well-designed outdoor areas makes her stand out. I’d absolutely recommend her to both clients and other brokers.'' “Libra was in great condition. Clean, stylish, and overall a really solid yacht. I absolutely love the LIBRA crew—they’re just great. It’s always the crew that makes or breaks a charter, and in this case, they’re what sets Libra apart. Service and hospitality were spot on, and I’d have no hesitation recommending Libra to clients or other brokers. The central seating area is a real highlight—it’s a fantastic communal space that works perfectly for guests to relax and enjoy each other’s company.” “I was only on board briefly, but my first impression during Marco’s tour on Day 1 was solid—I'd give it an 8 out of 10. Marco is honestly one of my favourite captains. He puts his heart and soul into everything, and it really shows. The crew I met seemed lovely—very friendly, always smiling, and clearly passionate about what they do. They seemed to operate well as a team and managed quite an interesting mix of guests during the fam trip, which is no small feat! The deckhand stood out as particularly friendly, and although the hostess wasn’t on board during the trip, I think once she’s back, the service side will be spot on. There’s something very charming about Libra—especially that mid-ship seating area, which is a classic gulet feature you don’t really see anymore. I personally love it, and I think clients will too. With Marco at the helm and the right setup, it’s easy to recommend Libra to both clients and other brokers.”
Holiday of a lifetime! September 2024
Holiday of a lifetime for the whole family. Great food, great crew and will definitely be rebooking!
We truly had the best time! August 2024
What an amazing week we have had here in Croatia. Our first trip on a gulet too. What a beautiful boat, clear blue sea, wonderful food, and outstanding service. Thank you to Antonio, Karlo x2, and Lucia for an unforgettable week! We are not sure we have ever seen a storm quite like the one that kept u in in a bay for 24 hours but we had games of Poker, Scrabble, and a temporary screen set up for a movie night! We truly had the best time and really hope to return to explore more of beautiful Croatia. With thanks and love from us!
Truly amazing! May 2024
A 2nd visit was a must, now a 3rd is a must. Truly as good as the 1st visit in 2022. Attention to us the passengers and our needs were met with ease. 11/10 from us all! Glad to see all the crew again who fed and catered to us - TRULY AMAZING. See you in 2026 for the North Tour.

An unforgettable sailing week in beautiful Croatia! May 2023
Thank you all for your fabulous teamwork, care, and tremendous hospitality. This last week aboard the Libra has exceeded all my expectations. Wonderful accommodation, food, drink, and your facilities and watersport toys met all our fun needs!! Thank you all again for your care. Nothing was ever too much trouble. An unforgettable sailing week in beautiful Croatia. Thanks again!
Libra and its staff were amazing! October 2022
I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our time on Libra. Marco and his staff were outstanding. I still don’t know how Chef prepared so many gourmet meals in such a small kitchen. I’ve already recommended Libra to a couple of friends who have expressed an interest in taking a trip to Croatia. Please extend our salutations once again…really well done and many thanks to them once again.

OPTION REQUEST

An option is placed only upon explicit written request and is valid until a clearly specified date and time, which will be communicated in our confirmation email.
We do not notify brokers when an option has expired or when a yacht is no longer available (e.g., placed under option or booked).
We do not accept multiple options for the same client across different yachts simultaneously.

Due to high demand during peak booking season, we may apply a “first come – first served” policy. In these cases:

OPTION REQUESTS POLICY

OPTION REQUEST

An option is placed only upon explicit written request and is valid until a clearly specified date and time, which will be communicated in our confirmation email.
We do not notify brokers when an option has expired or when a yacht is no longer available (e.g., placed under option or booked).
We do not accept multiple options for the same client across different yachts simultaneously.
PEAK SEASON POLICY: “First Come, First Served”

Due to high demand during peak booking season, we may apply a “first come – first served” policy. In these cases:
Options are placed only when the client accepts the charter offer and requests the charter contract.
The intent is to finalize the booking (have the charter agreement signed and the deposit paid) within the 2–3 day option window.
This ensures fair opportunity for all clients and encourages prompt decision-making.
