Martin Šutalo, born in 1996 in Metković, Croatia. From a young age, he loved spending time at sea. Involved in sports since childhood, he decided to enroll in the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb, where he graduated with a major in sailing. Starting with sailing in small classes, kitesurfing, RSX, and working as a sailing instructor at the Adriatic Sea, he took a few more steps. Martin is a certified Yacht Master A and also holds D2 Basic Safety and GMDSS. As a professional skipper, he gained noteworthy navigational experience and knowledge about the islands. His itineraries can be tailored to your wishes while showing you the best of Adriatic heritage, cuisine by the locals, and many hidden bays. If you have kids or teenagers, you want to have Martin on board for sure. He will take full care for water toys and their special wishes. Off-season, he runs skipper academies, sailing schools, and usually delivers new boats to Croatia, so sailing in the Atlantic and Mediterranean was and still is a proper challenge for a sailing addict like him.

WHAT MAKES HIM HAPPY BESIDE WORK: He likes to compete in regattas. When he is not at sea, he likes to travel. Fitness and playing the guitar are also among his hobbies.

Trip of a Lifetime!
At first we weren’t going to have a hostess, but e ended up having one (Kornelia) and in would HIGHLY recommend it! Both she and Captain Martin were wonderful people and made our time on the boat VERY relaxing and enjoyable! Martin was very knowledgeable about the best places to stay, eat, and visit. We seemed to beat all the crowds at the different places to see like the Blue Cave, wine tasting, and had nice recommendations for places to eat in each town and would even call to make reservations which helped a ton! Kornelia was an excellent cook and provided simple yet delicious meals and snacks! She also helped with anything Adam needed when docking as well! Overall, we had a wonderful experience with our trip! It went smoothly, the boat was clean and new, the accommodations were beautifully kept and the crew was kind, helpful and flexible! Highly recommend!
Great charter holiday in Croatia
Thoroughly enjoyed our week sailing from Trogir Marina SCT on JoanSea Lagoon 46 Catamaran. Comfortable accommodation for a family of six. Our skipper Martin Sutalo, was superb. Highly recommended for an unforgettable family holiday.
Rates are Plus Expenses

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
