Nation: Greek
Born: 1970
Captain: George Panagiotopoulos , Age: 40

George Panagiotopoulos is a highly experienced and dependable professional skipper with many successful
seasons at sea across Greek waters. He has extensive knowledge of the Northern and Southern Ionian, the
Cyclades, the Dodecanese and the Saronic Gulf, allowing him to design safe, well-balanced itineraries tailored to
weather conditions and guest expectations. He has operated a wide range of sailing monohulls, catamarans and
motor yachts up to 68ft, both in private and charter environments. His background includes multi-season
command of a private motor yacht in the Ionian Sea, long-term collaborations with established charter
companies, flotilla leadership, yacht deliveries within Greece and internationally, as well as vessel preparation and
off-season maintenance. This breadth of experience has made him confident in handling different yacht types,
guest profiles and cruising conditions with professionalism and calm decision-making. George holds a Greek
Offshore Sailing License (I.O.P), Motorboat License, GMDSS Communications License and First Aid certification.
He is known for his reliability, strong seamanship and ability to remain composed under pressure, always
prioritizing safety, smooth operation and an enjoyable onboard atmosphere.
Deeply connected to the sea beyond his profession, he enjoys fishing, spearfishing, swimming, snorkeling,
running and continuous learning — qualities that reflect his disciplined and balanced character both on and off
duty.

Rates are Plus Expenses

June, July, August until 12 September: 17.500 € + 12% VAT +25% APA Rest of the months: 14.200 € + 12% VAT +25% APA Skipper's fee: 1.750 € per week Hostess fee: 1.470 € per week Also available for short charters. Minimun 4 days. For any further information please contact us at info@kottero.com or via WhatsApp at +30 697 1647 450.

Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.

Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.

Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
