During the summer as Captain, he oversees the entire operation of the vessel, ensuring smooth coordination between the crew and high-quality service for passengers. Above all, Vangelis places the utmost priority on safety, ensuring that the crew and passengers are always in safe hands while adhering to maritime regulations and standards. With his steady hand at the helm, guests are guaranteed a memorable sailing experience of a lifetime!



Chef: Anastasios Lamprakis

Anastasios, born in 1971, brings a wealth of culinary expertise and uniqueness to the crew of Highjinks. With a Diploma in Professional Cookery, he has honed his skills through numerous specialized seminars, delving into Japanese and Oriental Cuisine, as well as mastering the knowledge and use of herbs. Since 2010, he has been a fixture in the yachting industry, showcasing his culinary prowess aboard various motor yachts as a seasoned chef. He is organized, adaptable to different kitchen environments and has a wide repertoire of cuisines to offer. Fluent in Greek, English, and German, Anastasios not only crafts delectable dishes to different guest preferences but also ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere on board through easy communication with his guests, elevating their dining experience to the fullest!

Stewardess/Deckhand: Matrona Gkini

Matrona, born on the picturesque Greek island of Chios, has always had a deep connection to the sea. She pursued her studies at the Tourism and Maritime Academy, laying the foundation for a promising career in yachting. Since 2018, she has gained valuable experience aboard various yachts, honing her skills in hospitality and guest services. An energetic and adventurous individual, Matrona enjoys water sports, swimming, and hiking, bringing her enthusiasm for the outdoors into her work. Her dedication to providing exceptional service ensures that guests have a truly memorable experience on board. Fluent in Greek and English, she is always eager to assist, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone she meets.

We had and unforgettable week full of adventure and exploration for the kids. We loved all the little gems of bays and beaches and caves, each place so different from the next. The food was an amazing experience at every meal. Phoebe, you are truly talented and I think Adele appreciated more than everyone. She hasn’t stopped telling me all week that I need to take cooking classes to be more like you! A quick survey of our group reveals that sometimes you only have to wait 20 years to experience and store a lifetime-long wonderful memory and sometimes one must wait much longer. Either way, we all now have warm, happy memories to call upon forever. When I return home, people will ask me how was the vacation – and although I try to do it justice , in the end, I will be speechless and fulfilled all at once. 08/07/2017 - 15/07/2017 This is Walter Stuart Davenport reporting from a “Greek Vacation”. It has been 3 days of this cruise and moral is running low. Food is running out leaving the rest of us to group up and started to become cannibles and I am ashamed to say that I have now not not tasted human flesh. It reminds me a bit of boiled fish, or over cooked spaghetti (is that how you spell it?) We can see land all around us but we are all too lazy to leave the boat to get actual food. I hope to survive this trip and see my future “people that care about me”. Although the chances of that are unlikely considering that most find me obnoxious and ugly. I think it all started when I was kid and I disappointed my father so much that we had a heart attack out of pure shame. After that no one seemed to start calling him Fredrick. I tried calling him Fred one time and he told me that we weren’t in a nick name basis. After we changed his last name so that he could claim to not be related to me. I had to start calling him count Von Zeravich. It’s a cool name. Wow you are a good listner, we should get coffee sometime and do this again, except I am on a horror boat. Oh no I am being eaten. Chef: Anastasios Lamprakis

Anastasios, born in 1971, brings a wealth of culinary expertise and uniqueness to the crew of Highjinks. With a Diploma in Professional Cookery, he has honed his skills through numerous specialized seminars, delving into Japanese and Oriental Cuisine, as well as mastering the knowledge and use of herbs. Since 2010, he has been a fixture in the yachting industry, showcasing his culinary prowess aboard various motor yachts as a seasoned chef. He is organized, adaptable to different kitchen environments and has a wide repertoire of cuisines to offer. Fluent in Greek, English, and German, Anastasios not only crafts delectable dishes to different guest preferences but also ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere on board through easy communication with his guests, elevating their dining experience to the fullest!

Matrona, born on the picturesque Greek island of Chios, has always had a deep connection to the sea. She pursued her studies at the Tourism and Maritime Academy, laying the foundation for a promising career in yachting. Since 2018, she has gained valuable experience aboard various yachts, honing her skills in hospitality and guest services. An energetic and adventurous individual, Matrona enjoys water sports, swimming, and hiking, bringing her enthusiasm for the outdoors into her work. Her dedication to providing exceptional service ensures that guests have a truly memorable experience on board. A quick survey of our group reveals that sometimes you only have to wait 20 years to experience and store a lifetime-long wonderful memory and sometimes one must wait much longer. When I return home, people will ask me how was the vacation – and although I try to do it justice , in the end, I will be speechless and fulfilled all at once. 08/07/2017 - 15/07/2017 This is Walter Stuart Davenport reporting from a “Greek Vacation”. It has been 3 days of this cruise and moral is running low. Food is running out leaving the rest of us to group up and started to become cannibles and I am ashamed to say that I have now not not tasted human flesh. It reminds me a bit of boiled fish, or over cooked spaghetti (is that how you spell it?) We can see land all around us but we are all too lazy to leave the boat to get actual food. I hope to survive this trip and see my future “people that care about me”. Although the chances of that are unlikely considering that most find me obnoxious and ugly. I think it all started when I was kid and I disappointed my father so much that we had a heart attack out of pure shame. After that no one seemed to start calling him Fredrick. I tried calling him Fred one time and he told me that we weren’t in a nick name basis. After we changed his last name so that he could claim to not be related to me. I had to start calling him count Von Zeravich. It’s a cool name. Wow you are a good listner, we should get coffee sometime and do this again, except I am on a horror boat. Oh no I am being eaten.
