After my first experience with a sailing boat at the age of 14 I felt that my heart will always belong to the sea. At the age of 20 I joined the Greek Navy and after that I was a member of the Hellenic Coast Guard for 17 years. For the last 5 years I am working as a skipper, mostly with sailing boats. I am Greek, Non Smoker, I love cooking, exploring and learning about new countries and cultures I have got Offshore sailing diploma, Motor boat diploma up to 100kor, Cosmos Nautical Academy courses for firefighting-survival first aid and crisis management.
CHEF – Victoria Makovska
Victoria was born in Ukraine and raised between Ukraine Germany and Russia. She has been living in Greece for the past 23 years. She has 20 years of working experience in customer service making sure everybody meets their requests. Always smiling, filling up the place with her positive energy and calmness.
DECKHAND/HOST – LOUKIANOS GAGOS
Loukianos is a passionate fresh sea man, who is looking for adventure. Always positive and willing to do the best for the crew and the guests.
Travelled from France (Les Sables-d'Olonne) to Greece on a catamaran, and worked on a traditional wooden boat in Mykonos. Also has a few years experience as a watersports instructor (surfing, kitesurfing, sup) and sea kayak tour guide. He wants to share with people the joy of the water element. His dream is to visit many places and make friends all around the world.
Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.
