He has attended a range of seminars to expand his knowledge: Molecular gastronomy, Cretan Cuisine, French Cuisine Techniques, Pastry and Chocolate, Japanese cuisine and sushi, Food cost management and Mediterranean Creative Gastronomy. He has been the Executive Chef of Cafe Boheme in Athens since 2009 and Ouzeri restaurant in Santorini during the summer months, from 2011 to 2016. He is very creative and hard-working, competent in a very wide range of cuisines and always strives to improve and extend his skills. He joined JULIE M in April 2020, offering guests an incredible gastronomical experience throughout his first season.

Fluent in Russian, Greek, and English, Irina is a true Renaissance woman with a diverse background that includes private piano lessons, elderly care, sales, and hospitality work. In addition to her impressive experience, Irina has a strong educational background, having studied at the Ufa Art College and the Ufa Academy of Arts in Russia. Outside of work, Irina enjoys travelling, opera, swimming, and jogging. She is a Russian citizen and permanent resident of Athens, and the spouse of a Greek citizen. Irina's fun-loving personality and inspiring nature make her a perfect fit for the team of JULIE M.

What are "Med Rates" or "Med Terms?"
Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.
