We recently returned from an unforgettable three-week catamaran trip through the stunning Ionian Islands, and we can’t recommend it enough!

Our itinerary included a mix of well-known islands. Each island had its own unique charm, lush landscapes, stunning beaches, and famous blue caves were just a few highlights. The flexibility of our catamaran allowed us to explore secluded bays and picturesque seaside villages at our own pace.
The catamaran was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for lounging and socializing. Equipped with modern amenities, it made our stay incredibly enjoyable. What are "Med Rates" or "Med Terms?"
Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.

We recently returned from an unforgettable three-week catamaran trip through the stunning Ionian Islands, and we can’t recommend it enough!
This journey was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and cultural exploration.
Our itinerary included a mix of well-known islands. Each island had its own unique charm, lush landscapes, stunning beaches, and famous blue caves were just a few highlights. The flexibility of our catamaran allowed us to explore secluded bays and picturesque seaside villages at our own pace.
The catamaran was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for lounging and socializing. Equipped with modern amenities, it made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Our crew was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed while also sharing insights about the islands we visited.
Each day was filled with exciting activities, but the highlight was definitely swimming in the turquoise waters!
Every evening brought breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky in hues of orange and pink. Whether we were anchored in a quiet bay or sailing into the sunset, these moments were pure bliss. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration.

What are "Med Rates" or "Med Terms?"
Med Term pricing is cost (cost of the boat) + VAT (country tax) + APA (operating and provisioning expenses). The cost is the weekly rate for the charter. The VAT and APA are calculated on the cost of the boat and paid in addition to that base price. The APA covers: fuel, water, food, licenses, alcohol, and any specific items you would like provided to you. APA money that is not used for provisioning would be reimbursed to you- or, if you spend over the amount, they would charge you. The Captain keeps track of expenses and would let you know if you’re reaching your APA limit. This is the industry standard for the region.
Caribbean Terms or Caribbean Inclusions refer to all-inclusive rates. These boats are typically catamarans and monohulls and are found in the Caribbean.
Most (but not all) motor-yachts and sailing vessels in the Med are Med Rate terms.
The yachts featured on our website will specifically state which type of pricing they offer.
