Gino grew up in the bush, travelling across Southern Africa with his parents. Any chance they got they were out camping in remote locations, which is where his great sense of adventure came about. Gino was introduced to sailing through his father, which is where he began to compete in multiple races, working his way up from crew to skippering his own boat.

After 3 years of racing keelboats, Gino found himself in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean enroute to Rio De Janeiro competing in the Cape 2 Rio Ocean race. This ended up being a 3-month journey, sailing from island to island in Brazil once they got there before starting the passage back home to Cape Town, South Africa.

Nikita found her love for cooking at a young age in the kitchen with her dad where he taught her all the tips and tricks to cooking a delicious meal. With time, this slowly ended up becoming weekly competitions in the house in who created the better dish.

Nikita decided from the get-go she would not be spending her life in an office but rather exploring the world. After discovering the beauty of sailing and life on the water, Nikita quickly booked her course to become a stewardess and culinary courses to increase her culinary skills, which led her to working as a sole chef/stew in Cape Town, South Africa on a super yacht. This is where both her passion for the sea and cooking aligned and she knew her career choice was right.

Gino and Nikita, being friends since high school and having created endless adventures, memories, and stories together, decided to join forces and run sailing charters out of Cape Town. Realizing how well they work together they made their way to the Virgin Islands 2 years ago for another adventure together.

Classic eggs Florentine with sautéed spinach and mushrooms, a soft poached egg, layered on fresh English muffins topped with boat made hollandaise sauce and served with streaky bacon.

Pan fried teriyaki salmon steak on a bed of crafted white rice with a strip of nori topped with cinnamon roasted carrots. Served alongside a roasted cauliflower salad.

Honey mustard pork tenderloin served on potato purée with buttered parmesan green beans and cinnamon roasted butternut.

A rich and creamy pasta dish layered with onions, garlic and ground beef and lathered in a succulent sauce, topped with  mozzarella. Accompanied by a caesar sald and roasted mixed vegetables.

HALF-BOARD OPTION: $150 discount per person

Pan fried teriyaki salmon steak on a bed of crafted white rice with a strip of nori topped with cinnamon roasted carrots. Served alongside a roasted cauliflower salad.

My experience with Gino and Nikita was nothing short of spectacular. From the beginning of our charter they were both incredibly kind and hospitable. Nikita’s food was absolutely amazing, and she consistently surprised us with her amazing creativity in the kitchen, we had amazing dishes all throughout the week. Gino made the experience so amazing with his fantastic attitude and optimism. He made such a great effort to make our experience first class and one of a kind, taking us to the most beautiful islands, coves, and beaches during our trip. Highly Skilled And An Absolute Joy To Be With!
If you choose to charter, you need to make it onto Nikita and Gino’s charter!!! They are highly skilled in cooking and captaining and take care of their guests with pleasure and a positive attitude! Nikita went to great lengths all week to make sure our whole group was happy with our complex dietary restrictions and Gino did the same to make sure we were comfortable with the route. His sailing skills made us all feel at ease navigating us through the islands and taking us to all the beautiful spots! They are both an absolute joy to spend a week with! I cannot even explain the amazing experience we had on board with Gino and Nikita! To be honest, it wasn’t the boat.. it was all Gino and Nikita that made this trip special. From Gino taking us to some breathtaking places and showing us reefs and islands, to Nikita’s stunning talent in the galley. I have truly never had better food prepared on a trip. For my 60th, I envisioned a BVI cruise with my family filled with fun, sun and rum. You delivered so much more. Your grace and hospitality is top notch and you made us easily comfortable on our floating home for the week. And it felt like we all became a family which was the best part! Captain Gino - we were all impressed with your maturity and master seamanship. First Mate/Chef Nikita - what a chef and mixologist!!! You kept us well fed and full of rum, every meal a delight indeed. You Two - are quite a pair and it was lovely to see how well you communicate with each other and work as a team. Well Done!!   • Reputable and licensed crew who have local knowledge of waters and are able to adjust menus based on guest’s preferences and dietary restrictions
  • Operating expenses including: use of air conditioning, fuel, water, sailing permits/taxes, local taxes and crew wages

What Is Not Included in Standard All-Inclusive Charters:

  • Gratuity for crew. Gratuity is at guest discretion and is typically between 15-20%
  • Meals and beverages at restaurants and bars
  • Rendezvous diving, ASA sailing certification courses and any other offshore excursions

SLEEP ABOARD:1/2 the daily rate. Dinner ashore at client's expense. Includes; boarding after 4pm, welcome cocktail and breakfast the
next morning and early start.

TURN AROUNDS: 48-hour turns are standard

HALF-BOARD OPTION: $150 discount per person
Includes; 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 3 dinners, all other meals to be eaten ashore at client's expense.

LOCAL FARE OPTION: $75 discount per person
Includes; 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 6 dinners, all other meals to be eaten ashore at client's expense.

HOLIDAY RATES:
XMAS: Flat rate $33,000. Must end no later than Dec 27th.
NEW YEARS: Flat rate $36,000. Must begin no sooner than Dec 28th.

CHILDREN'S DISCOUNT:
$200 discount per child under aged 12 up to a max of 3 children.
