GYPSY PRINCESS
Gypsy Princess Yacht Charter in the British Virgin Islands
Step aboard Gypsy Princess, an award-winning 45-foot Lagoon sailing catamaran offering crewed yacht charters exclusively in the British Virgin Islands.
Built in 2012 and refitted in 2018, Gypsy Princess has continued to receive thoughtful upgrades to her interior, equipment, and sailing systems. She combines three private queen cabins, expansive outdoor living, attentive service from a professional crew of two, and an extensive selection of water toys.
Accommodating up to six guests, Gypsy Princess is an excellent choice for families, couples, and friends seeking a comfortable and environmentally considerate BVI sailing vacation.
Comfortable and Refined Living
Gypsy Princess offers an inviting, fully air-conditioned interior designed for relaxed Caribbean living.
The salon provides comfortable seating, television and stereo entertainment, device connectivity, and a welcoming social area for guests to gather. Onboard Wi-Fi is available, although the connection is listed as limited.
Additional amenities include an ice maker, barbecue, deck shower, hairdryer, hammock, and shaded exterior areas.
Three Private Queen Cabins
Gypsy Princess welcomes up to six guests in three queen cabins.
Each guest cabin includes a private ensuite bathroom with a separate shower stall. Full air conditioning and high-quality French linens provide a comfortable environment for restful nights aboard.
Larger cabin fans further improve airflow, while the yacht’s thoughtful layout provides privacy and storage for each guest.
The professional crew of two occupies separate accommodations, providing attentive service while maintaining guest privacy.
Expansive Outdoor Living
The flybridge is one of Gypsy Princess’s most inviting social spaces. Extra-large cushioned seating and a padded sundeck provide room to stretch out, enjoy the Caribbean breeze, and take in panoramic views while sailing or at anchor.
Forward of the mast, a sunken cockpit creates a distinctive setting for happy hour and sunset cocktails. The aft deck offers another comfortable area for dining, conversation, and relaxing close to the water.
These varied outdoor spaces allow guests to enjoy the islands from different perspectives throughout the day.
Adventure on the Water
Gypsy Princess carries a varied collection of water toys for active days in the British Virgin Islands. Guests can snorkel above colorful reefs, paddle into a quiet bay, enjoy a towable ride, or relax on the floating mat.
Available water toys include:
13-foot centre-console tender with a 40-horsepower outboard, accommodating up to six people
Adult water skis
Children’s water skis
Wakeboard
Two-person towable tube
Two inflatable stand-up paddleboards measuring approximately 11 feet 6 inches
Two-person inflatable kayak
Floating water mat
Snorkelling equipment for guests
Underwater photography and video equipment
Pool noodles
Beach games
Life jackets
Two stern sugar scoops and a boarding ladder provide convenient access to and from the water.
Water-toy availability and use remain subject to weather, operating conditions, equipment serviceability, and the captain’s discretion. Substitutions or temporary unavailability may occasionally be necessary.
Experience Life Under Sail
Gypsy Princess offers sailing instruction for guests interested in learning more about the yacht and participating in life under sail.
Twin Yanmar 4JH57 engines and SD60 saildrives were installed in 2025, along with a new anchor chain and Rocna anchor. These updates support dependable operation alongside the yacht’s sailing systems.
Any guest participation or sailing instruction remains subject to weather, operating conditions, and the captain’s discretion.
Explore the British Virgin Islands
Gypsy Princess operates exclusively in the British Virgin Islands. Her preferred embarkation point is Tortola, with Village Cay and Trellis Bay available as alternative pickup locations.
Guests can explore sheltered anchorages, white-sand beaches, colourful reefs, and relaxed island communities while enjoying the privacy and flexibility of a crewed sailing catamaran.
Every itinerary is shaped around the charter group’s interests, as well as weather, sea conditions, and the captain’s approval.
Continued Upgrades
Following her 2018 refit and subsequent salon update, Gypsy Princess has continued to receive improvements intended to enhance comfort and reliability.
Updates completed in 2025 include:
Twin Yanmar 4JH57 engines
SD60 saildrives
Anchor chain and Rocna anchor
Fusion audio speakers
Deck hatches
Larger cabin fans
A separate generator was installed in 2018 to support onboard power and guest comfort.
Award-Winning Environmental Efforts
Gypsy Princess has received the Green Flag Project Burgee in recognition of her environmental efforts.
The yacht supplies reusable bottles for guests, purchases marine-friendly cleaning and personal-care products in bulk, and recycles glass, aluminium, and plastic where facilities allow.
The crew sources produce from local farms and businesses whenever possible, helping support the local economy while reducing transport-related impact. Organic food waste is composted for local farmers, unused charter food is donated through the Family Support Network, and retired towels and linens are passed to local animal charities for reuse.
These practices reflect an ongoing commitment to protecting the waters, reefs, and communities of the British Virgin Islands.
Personalized Crewed Service
A professional crew of two looks after guests throughout each Gypsy Princess yacht charter. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated, while kosher catering is not listed as available.
Children of all ages are welcome aboard. Pets are not permitted, and guest smoking is restricted to the aft deck.

When you arrived, your first impression of the yacht was?
▷ Very well kept, clean with great spaces for enjoying the trip.
What did you think about your accommodation?
▷ Cabins, beds, bathrooms: Accommodations were great and having bathrooms with each bedroom were amazing!
Salon, cockpit, deck space: well kept, space to enjoy games, eat, and enjoy the boat.
Was the boat kept clean during your charter (your cabins, the bathrooms/heads, your towels, bedding, the cockpit, the galley)?
▷ yes
Did you miss anything on board?
▷ No

Please describe your Captain (professional/outgoing/friendly etc.)?
▷ Amazing. Professional. Outgoing. Friendly. Respectful.

▷ The crew did an amazing job listening to what activities we were interested in and not interested in and we loved everything they had planned.

▷ Professional and friendly. We have picky eaters and all meals and snacks accommodated so that no one was every hungry during the entire trip.

Any other notes or special remarks you have:
▷ Luc and Justyna are an amazing crew. Extremely professional and hospitable.
Favorite memory? Seeing a turtle while snorkeling with Marine and Quentin. They snorkeled with us at the Indians and that was SO awesome! Two of our kids swam through the underwater tunnel with Quentin as their guide. We never would have done that without Quentin and Marine snorkeling with us.
Best things about your crew? Where to start?? They were so friendly and personable and we immediately felt at ease. Marine had exceptional food and hospitality- she's someone you are sad to leave and want to stay friends with. You can tell they both love sailing, and Quentin loved sharing all of his knowledge and experiences with us. They were both so easy to get along with and made sure that our comfort was a priority.
We would 100% love to sail again with Quentin and Marine, be it the BVI or wherever else they end up.
Great weather.
Quentin communicated clearly our plans and was very accommodating.
Nice mix of motoring and sailing.
Boat was perfect - lots of space, clean, sleeping arrangements were great.
Lots of good snorkeling, 6 of 7 days. Felt very safe.
Great moorings, anchorage spots, swim ups
We had 4 or 5 meals off boat which was a nice break and the right balance
Best 7 days of food of our lives - homemade everything, great quality, great variety, etc. Marine is a spectacular cook.
Good water sports - tubing, skiing, skim boards. Saw some other yachts with Sea Scooters. That would be a nice addition”
Wow! Where to start? What an amzing trip! We have always dreamed of a sailing vacation and this was absolutely perfect.
The Gypsy Princess is a beautiful boat & Space. You both made us feel right at home & the hospitality was top notch. The food was 5 star! Marine you an amazing chef & first mate. Quentin we enjoyed all teh sails and felt so comfortable at sea becaue of your expertise!
We look forward to sailing with you both again!
Thank you both so much!
Much love!

We cannot thank you enough for giving us the best possible sailing experience. Everything you did was executed to perfection. The route planning took us to so many new destinations we would have never known or seen without you. The care with which Marine took for every appetizer, breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert was truly flawless. Your culinary skills are so very impressive and deeply appreciated. Quentin, your vast knowledge and passion for sailing is incredible. We learned so much from you and have collected memories for a lifetime.
Lastly, and most importantly, the kindness and care you have shown to our family will never be forgotten. Sully's wake boarding and snorkeling adventures will long be remembered as a height of this trip!
We look forward to staying in touch with you and planning our next adventure together.
Thank you again,
The Puppa's (Bob, Melissa & Sullivan)
What a wonderful week we had on Gypsy Princess. A beautiful boat that is so well kept we were impressed from the moment we received our welcome champagne, and appetizers to sitting down to our first meal. The boat was so comfortable and roomy, and so many nice places to sit and have drinks, and just relax. This was a wonderful gift and worlds away from our professional lives.
Quentin and Marine were charming, helpful, and so attentive to everything we wanted. We visited some of the most beautiful bays, spent time in the water. Marine accompanied us on some of the snorkels, and she was able to point out some fish and coral’s that would have escaped our vision. We believe she doubles as a mermaid! While we were thinking that we would have had one or two dinners on land, after sampling her cuisine we decided to stay on board for dinners as no restaurants could possibly compete with the meals that we had, on Gypsy Princess, Not to mention the wine parings! We would caution you on the potent cocktails that Marine creates they were delicious! Pretty to look and delicious to drink.
Sailing was wonderful. Quentin is surely an accomplished Sailor, and was so patient explaining to us, and answering for us questions about sailing, and technique. He even let my husband sail as much as he wanted to. As a civil engineer, I am always working, so our short time on Gypsy Princess was a pleasure every single moment. We look forward to the time that we can come back again and sail together on this wonderful boat Thank you Marine and Quentin for an unforgettable week.

Did you like the area you chartered in?
Yes - we saw a variety of areas, all of which were beautiful.
I don’t know where to begin…..After so many re bookings for this trip we weren’t sure if we would ever get to come and experience Gypsy Princess. But we did!!
It was worth the wait 💖
We couldn’t have picked a better boat & crew. The experience of these 9 days will be talked about by our family for years to come. Ben & Owen took a little time to warmup but once they did they were sold.
The snorkel adventures, the tube rides and learning to water ski! Seeing sharks, turtles, stingrays & jellies. We can’t thank you enough for the care you took with all our meals & giving the boys their ‘special’ meals were so appreciated.
The movies nights were a huge hit! Jared enjoyed exploring the wreck in Anegada. The attention to all the details have made this trip so special. We loved learning about sailing and navigation. The history of the Islands, Pirates and local info was fascinating.
Thank you for our amazing time and Happy sailing to both of you. We hope to sail again with your both.
May you have fair winds & following seas!
Mary & Jared.
Thank you for all the great times & Adventures!

The four days of on-board quarantine was fine, we did not feel any different other than having some bays completely to ourselves.
The boat was awesome. The crew pre-anticipated all our needs, not sure what we would have done without them; and the best part is that you can see that they love their job, take pride of ownership in Gypsy Princess, resulting in deliverables that are genuine.

The crew of Gypsy Princess,
I've been on many vacations and stayed at some very exclusive resorts so I wasn't sure how my first sailing adventure would compare especially during covid. I can honestly say that this was one of the best if not THE best vacation I've ever experienced. Being quarantined on the GP and the two covid tests were almost insignificant, having seas and coves almost exclusively to ourselves was incredible.
Your knowledge of the islands past and present, the 5-star food prepared on board daily, the snorkeling adventures, the sunset horseback riding on the beach, and the restaurant recommendation was outstanding. Your effort to ensure that everything was perfect (which it was !!) was appreciated and obvious. From pick up, to drop off, to testing, and to everything in between you guys were amazing.
I have already told several of my friends that the trip on the Gypsy Princess is a bucket list adventure and I hopefully will be sailing again with you in the future.
Warm regards from a cold new Jersey

Beyond accommodating.
-Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
The GP is stunning. 5 star all the way. The crew kept it squeaky clean from the get go all the way up until departure. Surprisingly the cabins were spacious and comfy.
- Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes. No problems at all. Beautiful breeze throughout the day with the windows open and nice and cool at night with the AC.
-Was the food good and well presented?
The food was on a whole other level. It was better then any 5 star restaurant I have been to. The service we received will be hard to ever match up to. The food was divine and the selections were endless.
-Did you like the area you sailed?
The US Virgin Islands and The British Virgin Islands are gorgeous. Unlike any other area of the world.

I have never sailed nor been to the VI prior to this vacation. This is hands down the best vacation I have ever been on and will be nearly impossible to out do. I have no one complaint about this trip. The staff, the boat, and the location were marvelous!! This trip is 5 star all the way. The attention to detail and the planned excursions and day trips that were provided by the staff were something out of this world.

▷ No
What did you enjoy the most on board?
▷ Being with family, not having any stress in the planning of food or activities.
Please describe your Captain (professional/outgoing/friendly etc.)?
▷ Amazing. Professional. Outgoing. Friendly. Respectful.
What do you think about your itinerary, the places and bays you visited and the activities you have done?
▷ The crew did an amazing job listening to what activities we were interested in and not interested in and we loved everything they had planned.
Please describe your chef (professional/outgoing/friendly etc.)
▷ Professional and friendly. We have picky eaters and all meals and snacks accommodated so that no one was every hungry during the entire trip.
Please describe your meals (presentation, quality, quantity)
▷ 10/10. There was always plenty, great presentations, and everything was delicious.
Do you feel the meals and drinks reflected the requests you made in your preference sheet?
▷ Yes, and we had the opportunity to review before the trip and request changes – which for us was to omit a Thanksgiving meal during the trip.
If you had children in your party, what did the crew do to make their vacation special (food, games, toys, etc)?
▷ Included them in conversations. Taught us a new game (Skull King). Had water toys for them to use. Ensured they had the drinks and food throughout the trip. 16 year old ate and loved everything and our picky 13 year old always had something he enjoyed at meals and snacks.

Cruising Area

We hope your charter lived up to your expectations. We would love to know some of your impressions about your yachting vacation. Please answer the following questions and add any comments you may have.
- Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
- Additional comments on your charter?
I have never sailed nor been to the VI prior to this vacation. This is hands down the best vacation I have ever been on and will be nearly impossible to out do. I have no one complaint about this trip. The staff, the boat, and the location were marvelous!! This trip is 5 star all the way. The attention to detail and the planned excursions and day trips that were provided by the staff were something out of this world.
