Ozdemir (Ozy) has spent over two decades working on yachts, motivated by his love for the sea and passion for sailing. He has worked up from a deckhand in 2003, to first mate in 2012 and Captain from 2016, travelling around the world for charters particularly in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Thanks to his extensive knowledge and experience of catamarans, he is uniquely suited to the role of Captain on a Sunreef Yacht. As a proactive and adaptable team member, Ozy relishes challenging opportunities and offers great leadership to SEAZEN II’s crew. His hands-on approach to management promotes organisation and efficiency onboard!

Job Description:
Ozy is responsible for the navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port, state, and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies.

Licences and Qualifications:
- Yacht Master 500 Tons Qualification
- Yacht Master 200 Tons Power/Sail MCA Qualification
- Radar Observation and Plotting Certificate
- GMDSS General Operators Certificate

Sail and Work Experience:
Graduating with a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, Seref immediately dived into the maritime industry and earned experience at a diving centre. Since working on yachts for over a decade, he has built up his skill set and abilities on the water. Joining the captain as part of the deck team of SEAZEN II, Seref possesses not only technical capabilities, but also problem-solving and customer service to ensure an amazing charter.

An expert in hospitality and customer service. Possesses a keen eye for detail and a deep passion for crafting exceptional guest experiences. Recognizes that each guest is unique, and therefore devote time to getting to know them, identifying their needs and preferences to ensure that they feel respected and cared for. With an array of customer service techniques in their arsenal, including active listening, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

Job Description:
Seref has the expertise required to stand in for Captain in his absence, acting as second in command. He assists the Captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guest’s activities. He has extensive knowledge of sailing yachts maintenance and is responsible for the running of deck equipment and machinery.

Sail and work experience:
Erin is a dependable hard worker, she has travelled a lot in America, Turkey and Europe. Erin guarantees her attention to detail and team player mentality will create an unforgettable experience for guests on SEAZEN II. Trained in silver service, mixology and table set ups, she is well-versed in providing high levels of service expected on a luxury yacht charter. Joining SEAZEN II this year, Erin is looking forward to expanding her skill set and showing off her capabilities!

Job Description :
Erin is responsible for organization, management and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to any and all guest trips. In charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met.

Sail and Work Experience:
With a passion for cooking from a young age, Ayse has been a professional chef since 2015, specialising in cuisine from her home country, Turkey. Gaining experience in both restaurants and on yachts, Ayse is excited to join the SEAZEN II team and provide delicious meals for all guests! Able to prepare many unique and balanced meals, Ayse has always adapted to the needs of her client.

Job Description:
In charge of the galley and is responsible for all guests and crew meals, assuring a rich variety of food. Ayse estimates food needs, reviews inventory assuring adequate supplies are available, sticking to budget and guests’ expectations. Carries out food service activities in order to have meals prepared at scheduled times and makes sure she complies with health regulations. Thanks to her creativity, she develops new recipes and ways of serving food in order to satisfy different guests’ wishes.

We really enjoyed this trip. The staff were beyond amazing. We ate amazing food and we will miss it very much. This trip was so peaceful and never stressful. Throughout the whole vacation, we felt very close to the staff and we even learned a few sailing tips from the captain. We have been on a few boat charter vacations in the past but this one was the best and the most fun by far! Thank you very much team!!! Without you guys our trip wouldn’t have been fun!
