Brandon grew up in South Africa and when school holidays came around, his family would head
to the coast where he spent his time on boats and in the ocean. At age 14, he completed his
Open Water Diving, from there he followed his love for diving, which led him to not only get
certified as a Divemaster in Sodwana Bay, Mozambique, but he ended up staying on as an
employee. He has a passion for fishing, spearfishing and freediving. With an interest in sailing,
he joined the charter industry with his brother and he continued to work as a Chef on board in
the British Virgin Islands for half a decade before being offered a Base Manager position in
Saint Vincent & The Grenadines. The timing was right for him to pursue his biggest dream of
becoming a Captain and he gave up his management position to jump back on board and do
what he loves most, exploring the oceans above and below sea level. Not only is he also a
massage therapist, but he is also the secret keeper for ‘Brandon's secret spots’ in the BVI which
he loves to take guests to.

-NAUI Open Water
Natichka grew up coastal in South Africa and upon completing high school moved to the coast
permanently to a small town her family is from, Mossel Bay, known to have the most great white
sharks in the world. As a self taught chef, she spent her childhood in the kitchen with her
grandmother teaching her all the family secrets and thus began her love for cooking good, tasty,
healthy food and fell in love with baking. When she isn’t in the galley, she will be the first one in
the water and is always up for guiding snorkels and teaching the world about penguins. Coming
from the Super Yacht charter industry, she has a passion for creating unforgettable experiences,
keeping the interior to a high standard and making sure that everyone leaves with memories to
last a lifetime. Prior to joining the maritime industry, she worked as a Production Manager for
music festivals and today she never passes up an opportunity to use her skills learned to host special events on board

Brandon and Natichka met on a little Island called Bequia down south in the Caribbean in Saint
Vincent & The Grenadines. It was love at first dive for these two as the ocean is the heart of
their relationship. They quickly realized that they didn’t want to be apart for one more day, so
they put their heads down, worked hard, saved money and are now following their dream of
working together. When they’re not working, they will be found freediving somewhere into the
sunset or exploring the surrounding islands and beaches.
With their new chapter starting, they can’t wait to run amazing charters as a couple. Their goal
as a team is to incorporate their shared love for food, adventure and all things sailing and diving
into their charters. With their knowledge and experience off and on board as sailors, be sure to
not only receive the most incredible photos and videos from your trip, but also memories and
friends for life. They pride themselves in creating deep meaningful relationships with everyone
they cross paths with and want to show guests what they’ve known their whole lives, that the
best place to be is on the ocean, sipping a cocktail and watching the sunset.

An absolute Dream
Our family catamaran trip to the British Virgin Islands was an absolute dream, and so much of the credit goes to our incredible captain, Brandon. From start to finish, it was a seamless blend of adventure, relaxation, and top-notch hospitality, all thanks to Brandon’s expertise, warmth and ability to lead a first class adventure. We spent our days cruising through the turquoise waters, exploring hidden coves, and enjoying stunning beaches. Brandon expertly navigated us to some of the most beautiful and secluded spots in the BVI. Whether we were snorkeling and diving in crystal-clear waters, or simply lounging on deck soaking in the views, every moment felt like paradise. We are an ocean going adventurous surfing family from Hawaii who have been blessed to travel the world on many vacations. We requested a crew who could accommodate and we couldn’t be any more grateful for this pairing! Brandon was not only an experienced captain but also a knowledgeable guide, making sure we were comfortable and safe every step of the way. His calm and reassuring presence made every excursion feel effortless and fun. Then, there was the food. Every meal was absolutely amazing, with fresh, local ingredients that perfectly captured the flavors of the islands. From fresh seafood to Caribbean-inspired dishes, every bite was a treat. Brandon went out of his way to ensure we had everything we wanted, accommodating dietary preferences and making every meal an event in itself. What truly made this trip unforgettable, though, was Captain Brandon himself. He’s the kind of person who genuinely loves what he does and makes you feel like part of the family. His incredible skill on the water was matched only by his charm and hospitality. He kept us laughing with stories, shared his deep knowledge of the islands, and made sure we felt taken care of at every turn. His warmth and attentiveness turned what could have been a great trip into an extraordinary one. We came home with memories we’ll cherish forever, and it’s all thanks to Captain Brandon and his incredible service. If you’re looking for an unforgettable family getaway in the British Virgin Islands, this is the way to go! We can’t recommend it enough. - Craig
Started as strangers, left as lifelong friends!
Nat is a great chef, preparing not only delicious meals, but beautiful as well. Her talents don’t end in the kitchen, she’s a great leader for fun game nights/dance parties! Finally, Nat did a great job driving us around and playing tour guide on Anegada! She’s a fun, smart, talented, well rounded beautiful sweetheart! We loved our week with Nat!!! - Judy One of the best vacations we’ve ever had! From the incredible food to the exceptional service and unforgettable activities, everything was truly five-star. What began as a week of sailing with strangers quickly turned into an experience where we made lifelong friends. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an extraordinary adventure. Rachel
A holiday of a lifetime!
During our trip in Panama, we were welcomed by the amazing Captain Brandon and the beautiful Chef, Natichka. From stepping on board Stand By One, we knew that we were in for a holiday of a lifetime! We got to explore amazing islands off the coast of Panama for 8 days and words can’t begin to describe the memories we made. Captain Brandon is one gem of a Captain, his knowledge on sailing and the ocean blew our minds. He always put our safety first and we could always ask him a million questions about the boat, our surroundings and he would always give us information with a smile. Chef Natichka filled our bellies with amazing food and she makes a killer Tiramisu! There were always snacks and drinks and she would sneak chocolates into our cabins at night where our comfy beds awaited us opened with dimmed lights making us feel like royals. The kids loved playing games and using the toys and Nats let them bake with her in the mornings which they absolutely loved. We adore Brandon and Nats. They are amazing people with adventurous souls and have a gift for making people feel at home and ready to explore the day. We can’t wait to charter with them again! - The H family
Panama adventure!
Due to weather changing and a lightning storm heading towards our pick up in Panama, we had to change the location of our charter and Captain Brandon and First Mate Natichka did everything they possibly could to still make our trip happen. They ended up sailing the boat to a new location for 27 hours so that we could still have our holiday and we are forever grateful. We arrived in Bocas Del Toro with no idea what to expect and by day 3 we were experienced sailors and the kids turned into mermaids. Captain Brandon is an exceptional Captain with great stories to tell. He always made sure we had a drink in our hand and no request was too much to ask. He is an extraordinary Diver and whilst we were still new to diving, he made us feel like we could conquer any dive! With his positive attitude and hard working ethics, he created an environment where we could relax, rewind and feel no need to worry about the boat, our safety or if we’ll get bored. First mate Nats is one of the funniest people we’ve ever met. Her stories about traveling and life are interesting and she made us add about 8 new destinations to our bucket list! She cooked what we liked and made sure to feed us lots of snacks! Her cooking style is a combination of traveling with your taste buds and feeling like we’re at a restaurant every day. Did we mention that her deserts are to die for? She loves to play games and would stay up late with the kids and they’re yet to beat her at UNO! What made their duo so special to us is that they would both be in the galley at times, but also both drive the boat. Their team work was smooth, efficient and they never asked us to help with anything! The kids learned how to fish, how to freedive and left with a lot of participation certificates and polaroid photos. They haven’t stopped talking about Captain Brandon and Chef Nats. They are both very comfortable in the water and never said no to a snorkel tour. I would charter with them again in a heartbeat and can’t wait to have them visit our home in return. Best charter ever! - Stefan & the boys
