Meet the Crew

Captain – Kobus Nieuwoudt- South African
Kobus started his yachting career in 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa on sailing charters and experiences. In 2016, he worked on sailing catamaran charters in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and surrounding islands. He got into yachting because of his love for sailing and exploring new exotic locations. When asked what is his favorite location to which he has traveled, he says Bequia, an island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, is one of his “most favorite places in the world.” Kobus is confident and passionate about his work and continuously strives to make each guest's experience aboard a vessel memorable in every way.

Stewardess- Nikita Voges- South African
Nikita has spent the last eight years perfecting the art of making people feel at home, whether that’s in a five star restaurant, a guest cabin, or the middle of the Mediterranean. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, she brings a warmth and polish to the interior that guests notice immediately.

Nikita has worked her way up through some of the industry’s most demanding roles, most recently serving as Chief Stewardess aboard M/Y Flying Dutchman, where she ran the entire interior department, trained and scheduled her team, and coordinated everything from themed dinners to shore excursions. Her experience spans from a 62m yacht’s 3rd stewardess role to stepping in as acting Chief Stewardess with zero notice, and even doubling as a personal assistant to an owner, running their household alongside the yacht itself. She’s just as comfortable crafting a classic cocktail as she is managing provisioning, inventory, and a full guest itinerary to the Bahamas.

Outside of work, Nikita stays just as active as she is on charter. She’s often found hiking or out for a run, unwinding with Pilates and yoga, or putting her creative eye to work through interior styling and event planning. A love of the water carries over into her downtime too, with snorkelling a favorite way to explore wherever the boat takes her.

Chef- Renier Nieuwoudt- South African
Reigning from South Africa, Renier is a highly skilled and motivated chef. Coming from years of experience working at many luxury resorts, Renier strives to bring that experience on board OUTTA TOUCH. He understands the very important role guest food plays in a charter environment and is ready to deliver a very memorable culinary experience for the guests. Renier also believes a well-fed crew is a happy crew and looks forward to cooking healthy balanced meals for them. On his days off he enjoys a day on the water fishing and playing water sports.

Mate-Enslin Stavast- South Afrcian
Enslin has done something most deck crew only dream of, going from deckhand to Mate in just two years, and he’s earned every step of it. Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, he brings the kind of hands on grit and genuine enthusiasm for the water that you can’t fake.

Most recently serving as Mate aboard the 124ft M/Y Flying Dutchman, Enslin ran daily deck operations, stood navigational watches, led docking and tender ops, and kept the exterior at true superyacht standard, all while jumping in to help the interior team whenever guests needed it. His resume reads like a highlight reel: captaining offshore passages between Miami and Bimini, supporting a 214 mile, 21 hour world record Fliteboard endurance attempt, and working through major shipyard refits on yachts up to 201ft. Holding a Yachtmaster Offshore license along with certifications in radar, tender operation, and even jet ski instruction, he’s as comfortable behind the helm of a 35ft tender as he is troubleshooting an engine room.

Outside of work, Enslin lives about as actively as he works. He’s constantly chasing the next adrenaline fix, whether that’s surfing, free diving, spearfishing, e-foiling, or tearing through trails on an enduro bike. Add in mountain biking, hiking, and a genuine love of learning and teaching others, and you get a crew member who brings that same energy and curiosity to everything he does on board.

Chief Engineer- Wayne Jenner- New Zealand
Wayne is a New Zealander with extensive hands‑on experience across the yachting industry, working in roles ranging from dive instructor and deckhand to sole engineer on vessels up to 49 meters. Known for his practical approach and broad technical background, he brings reliability, adaptability, and a solid work ethic to every program he joins.

Outside of work, Wayne spends most of his time on the water or outdoors. He’s into diving, water sports, mountain biking, tennis, pickleball, and exploring new places whenever he gets the chance.
