Comment: Kyle and Tilly went above and beyond to make this a fun vacation. The food was excellent, and Tilly was an amazing chef. I have celiac disease, and she was very careful to make sure I had a gluten free meal every time. I never felt like everyone else was getting the good food, and I wasn't. The boat was SUPER clean,
and they kept it that way all week. Thanks guys for a wonderful week!

ocean was matched only by her love of food and different cuisines from around the world that she now enjoys sharing with guests. After studying her degree in marine biology and a brief stint in a luxury ski chalet in France, Tilly moved to Scotland to pursue her career as a biologist. Here she found a love of growing food and championing local produce which she loves to incorporate as often as possible. Although she worked on boats her first real sailing experience was crossing the
Atlantic Ocean and she hasn't looked back since.
Kyle and Tilly met on a small island off the west coast of Scotland back in 2018 while they were both farming Scottish salmon, Tilly as the on-site biologist and Kyle as the site supervisor. They quickly realized they shared the same passion for adventure and the ocean and spent two years exploring the Highlands and Islands. After an especially cold and wet winter they jumped on a boat and sailed across the Atlantic toward the sunshine.
Kyle and Tilly have been chartering together in the British Virgin Islands for over a year and love to create the perfect vacation experience for everyone that steps onboard. Whether your dream trip is anchoring in remote bays, diving breathtaking reefs, enjoying bespoke cocktails at world famous bars or anywhere in between, Kyle and Tilly have got you covered.

Kyle grew up on the wild west coast of Scotland, in a tiny wee village by the sea. He learnt to sail in a loch close to his home and became a watersports enthusiast. After studying outdoor leadership at college he qualified as a mountain bike, kayak and sailing instructor. Kyle moved to the south of France to teach sailing at an outdoor activity centre and he now loves getting everyone behind the helm and helping with sails when he charters. Working on commercial salmon farms developed his experience handling vessels and made him the level headed and safety-oriented captain he is today.

Comment: We had a wonderful time. Kyle and Tilly are very passionate about their jobs and it shows!! The food was delicious, the service the best. Tilly is super funny, I envy her energy!!! Kyle easy going and always ready to accomodate any guest with a request. It is a beautiful boat and kept very organized and clean!! It was a fun, relaxed trip!!! Can’t wait to return!!! Love the base managers, Mignon and Chandre!!!

Comment: Kyle and Tilly went above and beyond to make this a fun vacation. The food was excellent, and Tilly was an amazing chef. I have celiac disease, and she was very careful to make sure I had a gluten free meal every time. I never felt like everyone else was getting the good food, and I wasn't. The boat was SUPER clean,
and they kept it that way all week. Thanks guys for a wonderful week!

Comment: Our crew was outstanding! Captain Kyle and First Mate Tilly make an amazing team and should be a model for Tradewinds. TW should do everything they can to keep such a wonderful couple happy and prospering in their careers. Kyle is such a skillful captain, keeps the boat in the very best shape that he can.. Kyle and Tilly take such pride in keeping the TW boat in as tip top shape as they possibly can themselves. It is clean, organized and neat and the whole crew pitches in to keep it that way. Tilly’s skills in delivering delicious and beautifully presented food is top notch! She and Kyle are skilled in both their professional duties and in delivering outstanding customer experiences. Could not ask for a better crew!

Comment: First time with Tradewinds and the entire trip was perfect. We were guests of the owner of S/Y Sweet Pea, and had a wonderful time with our group. I can’t say enough nice things about the crew Tilly and Kyle. Both of them exceeded our expectations at every turn. You can tell they genuinely love what they are doing. Only problem was that I gained weight because of the great food Tilly made us. So good!

What is included in a All Inclusive Charter? What Is NOT Included?
Unless otherwise specified-Caribbean Standard All-Inclusive Charters include the following:
- Standard check-in/check-out of 12pm
- Light daily housekeeping
- Breakfast, lunch, canapés/afternoon tea, dinner and snacks
- Standard ship’s bar: vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila, triple sec, mixers, local beers, table wine and water/coffee/tea and soft drinks
- Stereo with MP3/iPhone connection with indoor/outdoor speakers; 3G/4G Wi-Fi access point
- Snorkeling equipment, fishing gear, kayaks, dingy tender with outboard motors
- Water toys such as floating islands, and air mattresses
- Separate bathroom and living quarters for crew
- Reputable and licensed crew who have local knowledge of waters and are able to adjust menus based on guest’s preferences and dietary restrictions
- Operating expenses including: use of air conditioning, fuel, water, sailing permits/taxes, local taxes and crew wages
What Is Not Included in Standard All-Inclusive Charters:
- Gratuity for crew. Gratuity is at guest discretion and is typically between 15-20%
- Meals and beverages at restaurants and bars
