Over Reef is a brand-new 54 ft power catamaran designed by the Italian architect Stefano Nolletti and delivered in 2019. The volume, comfort, large living spaces, headroom, one-level floor, and one of a kind fly-bridge make it without any doubt the most comfortable private charter for couples of families available in the Maldives. Over Reef offers modern solutions in terms of design, such as the electric sun-visor, a one-of-a-kind feature offering light and fresh breezy balcony to the bow cabins. The wide beam offers large living spaces and makes Over Reef a very efficient and stable yacht. Over Reef accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 cabins. Master and VIP cabins are at the bow, and both have glass door to access the forward deck. Over Reef, without interior steps, in order to greatly enhance the living comfort as well as safety on board, is the ideal solution at sea for families and also for a more elderly guests. Over Reef is equipped with a large, comfortable, and fast motorized tender for excursions, islands visits, and fishing. Over Reef has been also designed for the most comfortable and private scuba diving in the archipelago with a large dedicated aft-deck. None of the other local boats can perform diving directly from the yacht as you can do from Over Reef.

The yacht counts 3 guests cabins. Master and VIP cabins are at the bow, and both have glass door to the forward deck. Master cabin has private bathroom, while VIP cabin has shared toilet with the third guests cabin. The latter is equipped with a large single bed and a pullman bed.

Adam is the captain of Over Reef. He is Maldivian live-a-boards’ captain since 2004 and divemaster. He knows in detail every corner of the archipelago and the best sites for fishing, scuba diving, and surfing.

Ahmed is the first-mate and divemaster of the yacht. He has matured 10-years experience in the operations of Maldivian live-a-boards, and he is a real expert of the best locations for scuba diving.

ANURA KUMARANAYAKE
Anura is the Srilankan chef of the yacht. In the Maldives since 2008, he is one of the best cooks presently employed on the live-a-boards operating in the archipelago.
The dining experience aboard OVER REEF allows you to enjoy a terrace on the sea in the most comfortable setting.
OVER REEF's kitchen boasts some of the best Asian-Fusion dishes on the waters of the Maldives.
Breakfast and lunch are served half-buffet style, while dinner is a 3-course meal as per your choice of dishes on the daily menu.
From tropical fruits and Maldivian delicacies, to your own catch-of-the-day's perfectly grilled on the fly-bridge's BBQ, OVER REEF's chef   prepare local cuisine with an Asian flair or the most traditional Western and Italian dishes to your taste.

We had a wonderful two weeks aboard Over Reef! The yacht was built in 2019 and is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable journey through the countless atolls of the Maldives. In fact, it is a small villa on the water, with air conditioning, large TV, cozy cabins and comfortable sun decks. But on the other hand, you can wake up every day in a new place, swim on a new beach and see the Maldives in a way that is impossible to do in any of the most luxurious hotels. Waking up and jumping into the purest ocean, and then having breakfast on the upper deck with freshly baked banana pancakes is priceless! Every day a new snorkeling reef, flocks of dolphins and swimming with manta rays! Romantic barbecues on desert islands! The endless, fantastic, magnificent Indian Ocean at your feet 24 hours! Unforgettable sunrises and especially sunsets! We love fishing and on this trip we could enjoy our favorite hobby endlessly! And what sashimi the cook made from freshly caught fish !!! Separate words of gratitude must be said to the crew. They made our vacation truly unforgettable! Captain Adam is a true Master of his craft and also knows the best places for recreation and fishing, the chef Kumar never ceased to amaze us with new delicious dishes every day. And what kind of pastries he makes !!! It looks like you need to forget about losing weight on vacation. Steward Soleiman is always ready to fulfill your any request, and our youngest son really made friendship with him. Assistant Niyaz did everything he could to make our trip as comfortable as possible.

We are wrapping up our charter this morning and we had an incredible time. Over Reef was absolutely perfect for our family, and it didn’t feel like a maiden cruise (though I know the crew worked very hard to address the small issues that always come up with a new boat). In particular, I want to highlight how great all of the crew was. They really went out of their way to make it a great experience for us, and particularly Nasru and Adam, who were always highly knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to be around. The food was also surprisingly good.
