Lyra Yacht Charter in the British Virgin Islands
Step aboard Lyra, a luxurious 67-foot Fountaine Pajot sailing catamaran offering all-inclusive crewed yacht charters in the British Virgin Islands.
Built in 2021 and extensively refitted in 2025, Lyra—formerly known as My Ty—combines five private queen cabins, a foredeck Jacuzzi, onboard scuba diving, outdoor cinema, and an exceptional collection of water toys.

Extensively Refit in 2025
Lyra received a substantial series of upgrades in 2025, refreshing both her appearance and guest experience.
The refit included:
New gelcoat and custom hull paint
New electric furlers
Renewed interior and exterior upholstery
Replacement tender pontoons
Extended flybridge sunshade
New mast lighting
Wireless phone-charging pads throughout the yacht
These improvements complement Lyra’s generous Fountaine Pajot design and create a polished, contemporary setting for life at sea.
Comfortable Interior Living
Lyra’s bright interior provides spacious areas for dining, entertainment, and time together. Full air conditioning operates throughout the yacht and is available overnight.
Entertainment amenities include a salon television, stereo system, music connectivity, movies, books, and board games. Starlink Wi-Fi provides onboard connectivity, while magnetic wireless charging ports make it easy to keep devices powered.
Additional conveniences include an ice maker, barbecue, hairdryer, deck shower, sun awning, and shaded exterior areas.
Five Ensuite Queen Cabins
Lyra welcomes up to 10 guests in five queen cabins.
Each guest cabin includes a private ensuite bathroom with an electric toilet, separate shower stall, and vanity. Individually controlled air conditioning allows guests to select their preferred cabin temperature.
Four cabins are accessed from inside the yacht. The fifth has a private entrance from the starboard-aft cockpit, offering a greater degree of separation from the main interior.
Every cabin includes a television, independent sound system, hanging and drawer storage, luxury linens, and reef-safe organic toiletries.
The crew occupies separate port-aft and forepeak accommodations, providing attentive service while preserving guest privacy.
Foredeck Jacuzzi and Outdoor Living
Lyra’s foredeck Jacuzzi provides an inviting place to unwind while surrounded by views of the British Virgin Islands.
Guests can relax in the sun, enjoy shaded areas beneath the extended flybridge awning, or gather for drinks as the yacht settles into an anchorage.
An outdoor projector and screen transform evenings aboard into private movie nights beneath the Caribbean sky.
All-Inclusive Crewed Service
Lyra’s charter rate includes yacht hire, crew wages, onboard meals, the ship’s bar, fuel, and use of the listed amenities and water toys.
A professional crew of three provides personalized dining, attentive hospitality, itinerary planning, yacht operations, diving support, and assistance with water activities.
Guests submit Lyra’s preference forms before their charter, allowing the crew to tailor menus, beverages, and the onboard experience to the group.

The swim platform and boarding ladder provide convenient access to the sea and make launching equipment easy.
E-foil users must be at least 12 years old, while SeaBob users must be at least eight. Participation in water sports may require completed liability waivers.
All equipment use remains subject to weather, condition, guest experience, age restrictions, and the captain’s discretion.
Scuba Diving aboard Lyra
Lyra offers onboard scuba diving for certified guests.
The yacht carries an onboard air compressor, 10 tanks, 10 buoyancy compensators, 10 regulators, and 10 weight sets, supporting groups of up to 10 divers.
Three dives are included for each certified diver. Additional dives cost $50 per person, per dive. A maximum of one dive is conducted per day, and no diving is offered on the first or final day of the charter.
One night dive is listed as available, subject to conditions and crew approval.
All divers must provide proof of certification and complete the required PADI medical and liability forms. Divers over 60 need a valid doctor’s clearance issued within the previous 12 months. Guests who have not dived during the preceding 12 months must complete a refresher before boarding.
All diving remains subject to health, certification and experience, weather, equipment availability, itinerary requirements, local regulations, professional supervision, and the captain’s discretion.
Fishing in the British Virgin Islands
Lyra carries two fishing rods and is listed as holding a fishing permit.
Guest fishing remains subject to local regulations and any personal licensing requirements. These requirements should be confirmed before departure.

Guests can explore protected anchorages, white-sand beaches, colourful reefs, and relaxed island communities while enjoying the space and privacy of a fully crewed catamaran.
Lyra cruises at approximately eight knots. Twin 170-horsepower engines provide dependable propulsion when the yacht is not under sail.
Every itinerary remains subject to weather, sea conditions, local requirements, and the captain’s approval.
Fitness, Beach Days, and Thoughtful Extras
Exercise facilities are listed aboard Lyra, although the exact equipment should be confirmed before booking.
Dry bags, waterproof phone cases, and beach bags are provided for excursions ashore. The yacht’s camp chairs, gazebo, table, and beach games also make it easy to create a comfortable base on the sand.
Environmentally Conscious Details
Lyra supplies reusable drinking bottles, eco-friendly toiletries, and reef-safe sunscreen.
These amenities help reduce unnecessary waste and support more responsible enjoyment of the British Virgin Islands’ marine environment.
Guest Policies and Safety
Children are welcome aboard but must remain under the direct supervision of an adult from the charter party.
Only contracted guests may sail, dine, or use the yacht’s water-sports equipment. Smoking is restricted to the aft exterior area.
Cabins are assigned before embarkation, and the crew does not move between cabins.

Accommodating 10 guests in 5 Queen guest cabins, all with a private en-suite electric heads, a shower stall and sink/vanity.
All cabins have individually controlled air-conditioning for each cabins comfort. Four cabins are accessed internally and the fifth has its own entrance from the stbd aft cockpit. Each cabin has lots of storage space, both hanging and drawers, and their own TV and sound system. Lyra has luxury linen throughout, and reef safe organic toiletries are provided.
Crew cabins are additional to guest cabins. They are in the Port Aft cabin and Forepeak cabin.

The baot was always in prestige condition. Our cabins were cleaned every day, swim towels were fresh every morning and nothing ever looked out of place.

The food was incredible and the deserts were out of this world. The kids ate everything, which surprised us as they are very picky.
The baot was always in prestige condition. Our cabins were cleaned every day, swim towels were fresh every morning and nothing ever looked out of place.
The crew have high standards of service and hospitality and make us feel like we were at a 5 star resort!

Captain Brandon Stern tied us next to an amazing reef which we had as our morning view and also got to scuba dive.
Our bellies were always full, everything was always clean and we had the most relaxing environment with music, games, books and a very entertaining crew!
Stories were shared, friends were made and a lot of water toys were used.
